“I was lucky to find this wonderful family right before heading out on vacation, and I couldn’t be more grateful. From the very start, communication was clear, prompt, and professional. They were reliable and stuck to the agreed schedule, which I truly appreciated. My dog a 5 month old Standard Poodle who’s a giant ball of mischief connected with them right away. It’s clear they have tons of experience and, most importantly, a genuine love for animals. I had originally booked someone else who canceled last minute with a silly excuse… but honestly, I’m glad it happened because it led me to the right people. They deserve all the stars. Highly recommend!”

“Andrea did such a wonderful job taking care of our boy while we were away! Thank you so much and we know Murphy loved going on those walks with you!”

About: I've worked at several canine care facilities in three states over the course of seven years. I am proficient in training as well as facilitating safe play and exercise and I work from home full time. My husband is also experienced in the canine care field (where we met a years ago). We live in an active and very dog friendly neighborhood and take lots of walks to ensure that your dogs get enough activity and attention while they spend time away from home! We also have a spacious, fully fenced in yard. I am comfortable with short or long-term stays, dogs with special or medical needs, high energy or older dogs, having plenty of experience through my previous job which allowed me to dog-sit through the company. We have a nearly one-year old child who loves to look at dogs but has learned that we don’t allow him to physically interact with dogs (until he is much older/more in control of his body!) My knowledge of canine behavior and medical needs through years of supervisory positions in canine care companies is something I can apply now while caring for your dog. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to play with your dog and take them for walks or outside in the yard to run around. My husband is a teacher and is home by 3pm to provide additional engagement. I never take more than two dogs at a time, so I have plenty of time to focus on facilitating a healthy and fun environment.

“Mary and her husband, Derek, were fantastic! They followed our instructions for finicky locks and a finicky feeding routine - followed by plenty of snuggles and a nice walk. We will definitely be booking with Mary again!”

About: It’s said that if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. They must have been thinking of working with dogs when they said that! I absolutely love working with pups, and the truth is I prefer the company of dogs to people most times! They bring me a sense of tranquility that I can't seem to find any place else. I adore being able to provide pups with the love and care they’re used to at home. When I’m not pet sitting, I enjoy my favorite hobby: playing with my dogs! We have a pet stroller that they love, so we often go for strolls at the dog park. I also have a lovebird, her name is Peaches, and she thinks she's a dog too ! LOL. Then there is Crystal my white bunny who loves to beg for snacks :) Even when I’m not working with animals, I spend all my time with them. I will be the only caretaker for your pup, but I’ll have my two fur children along for the ride too. Teak is 11 yrs old and 15 pounds. Chicky is six years old and weighs just three pounds. Both are very sweet and well behaved; they truly are best friends! (I do prefer that the dogs I sit to be under 20 pounds themselves.) They’re still pretty pampered, but that means that you can expect that treatment too when you’re here! During a stay, I’m always happy to make owners happy by sending plenty of text, picture, and video messages their way so they know just how their pup is getting along. I also give them a complete tour of my home so they feel comfortable knowing its, safe, clean and dog friendly! I also carefully go over diet with owner to be sure Im feeding what they want and when . I show them my all natural food and the special treats for extra good behavior. My home and neighborhood are the best part of your vacation! First of all, dogs are allowed to use any furniture in my home! I have a large five room apartment where just me, my dogs and birds live. The birds even have their own room! We have a large deck, a fenced-in front yard, a large, fenced-in backyard, and a park directly across the street! We are four blocks away from Revere Beach and around the corner from Belle Isle Salt Marsh where they have the most beautiful, nature filled dog park in the world. I work from home so have full-time availability 7 days a week including holidays. Therefore I will be available whenever you may need me :) I have a fenced in yard and plenty of treats and toys on hand. I can be flexible to any specific need they have concerning their comfort, Communication with pet owner is key.

“Sara did a great job with our 2 Boston Terriers on Thanksgiving day. Great communication and thankful she was available on a holiday. We definitely recommend her.”

About: I grew up with a beloved family dog, and cats, and have two of my own Golden Retrievers now. I have a home in East Forest Park with a fenced in yard where my dogs love to run and chase each other. I'm working on a Canine Good Citizen certification with one of my dogs and look forward to volunteering at hospitals with him eventually. I treat my dogs like my children (because they are!) and will do the same with yours. I have experience raising puppies and caring for 2+ dogs at a time. I work a hybrid schedule between home and the office but can take remote weeks and work completely from home occasionally. I regularly work from home Friday and either Monday or Thursday so boarding over a long weekend would be easy. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly Golden Retrievers. My girl is a talker (barker) but friendly. I have a large comfortable crate in the living room that is available if needed.

About: I'm an avid animal lover, and have been involved in rescue for more than 14 years. I currently have 2 dogs of my own, Adabelle, an American Eskimo who is 12 and has been with me since she was 10 weeks old, and Minnie, an 13 yr old rescued LH Chihuahua/Pug mix. She was formerly a doggy client that I took care of until her Mom needed to rehome her. I jumped at the chance to add her to my family. I absolutely adore her. My own fur kids are used to all the doggy clients that come throughout the year. They get along with everyone. My home is very pet friendly. It's perfect for your pup(s) to lounge and/or play in while you are away. The yard is completely fenced in and the front & back yards are separated on both sides of the house by secure gates. Every day your dog is here he/she will get lots of outside exercise and play. Outdoor time is never unattended - I feel very strongly that it's my responsibility to ensure my pups' safety as well as any in my care. Dogs & cats are truly my passion - and I love taking care of them! I am a full time dog sitter and am home 99.9% of the time. So I'll be able to spend a lot of quality time with all of the dogs in my care. Each & every doggy client gets individual attention from me many times throughout their stay, including belly rubs, brushings (if they're ok with being brushed, if not we can play with toys give belly rubs, etc) I have a variety of dog beds throughout the house so everyone gets one, or if they prefer and pawrents approve, they can lie on the couch, ottoman or recliner.

About: Animals enjoy my dog and I's company. Come unsure, leave longing to return. A visit will sure turn into a playdate and lots of misses and kisses. Your pets will feel right at home because the pets here aren't pets; their family. Whether they become extended cousins, or like brother and sister, your pet will feel like home away from home with us! Your pet has plenty of space to run around and if they're up for it will do so on their walks. Each of us have our own personality and here theirs can shine, grow, and learn to be in and create harmony with the world around them.

About: Hello Rover Parents! I have had pets my entire life from turtles, frogs, cats and dogs. In 2007, while in nursing school, I fell in love with the Boxer breed. I love all dogs, but Boxers are my jam. Currently, I have fur fur babies, Brody and Sammie (Boxers) and Tobey and Abby their cat siblings. I’m a very conscientious pet parent. I am very alert to any healthcare issues, and know who to contact. Having, a breed with sensitive tummy’s, I add real food to their meals. So I understand if you have special dietary needs. Believing that dogs should also learn manners, having trained my own dogs, you can count on me to enforce any training. Although, I’m not a certified trainer. As a dog mom myself who has relied on pet sitting, I found it was difficult to find reliable people, who paid attention to detail. As a long term nurse attention to detail is a must. I just moved to the area from Phoenix, Arizona. I went on a road trip with all four animals. An epic experience. I’m in between jobs so free daily. I offer dog walking, sitting, drop ins. Meals, medications, high energy! I’m your gal. Not to mention kisses, cuddles, and play! Just let me know what they need.

About: I have had dogs since I was born. I love to take care of any of my family members dogs when needed. I also attended summer camp at a local shelter. I am currently a full time college student, but can walk dogs in the afternoons. Once done with school for the summer I will be available all day. I am more than experienced with walking dogs of all sizes, and putting their safety first. I can take care of your dog in any way needed and always want to do what's most comfortable for them.

Jessiana V.
“We have been fortunate enough to have Jessiana take care of our boxer Okey for the last year. Since we travel a lot Okey has spent a lot of time with Jessiana on walks and days at a time. When Jessiana pulls in the driveway Okey runs out the door and into Jessiana’s car. Although I hate leaving Okey, who usually spends all day with me, I don’t mind leaving her with Jessiana who makes sure she is safe and happy. Jessiana send me photos and lets me know how Okey is doing all the time. I highly recommend Jessiana to take care of your dog as she is dependable and makes sure Okey is always having fun!”

“Petra has been dog sitting for my two babies for a couple of years now . Petra is amazing with them. I have a 12 yo Shepard /Lab and a 3yo German Shepard. When Petra visits they are so happy and will literally knock anyone or anything over just to get to her. She is great with them. They are both pretty decent size dogs and Petra is not intimidated by their sizes. She is trustworthy and has a lot of patience’s. Both of my dogs have separation anxiety and I never have to worry about leaving them in her care. She communicates with me while I am away, sends me pictures of them to ease my mind. She goes above and beyond when she is watching them. When I come home , the dogs are happy to see me but sad when she leaves. Petra is highly recommended!”

He is the best! Extremely dependable, diligent about following all directions and meeting needs of your animals. We have used him twice now and know our cats are in great hands! One warmed right up and met him every day with purrs and demands for brushing. The other was her usual, stand-offish self but still came out for a few sniffs and investigation. He respected their boundaries and gave them time to get to know him on their terms. He stays in great contact as well and we were very comfortable with him as a caretaker. We highly recommend him and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. Thank you so much!!

Thanks so much to Charisma for stopping by to let Indigo out & feed him! My first time using the drop-in option on Rover. Great communication, quick replies, & she kept me updated on Indigo with pictures & followed up with me when she left! I will definitely be using her again in the future! 😊

Hannah was awesome dropping in to feed and care for our two cats. She was able to handle our cat’s medication and subcutaneous fluids like a pro, and was very communicative with updates. We would book her again no doubt. She is a top notch pet sitter! Thank you so much Hannah!

Nikki and Britney thank you for your committed and consistent effort ensuring Cali received the best care. From the start , we felt confident in your abilities to understand our dog and offer her exactly what she needed. We appreciate your time spent with weekly visits and even a few overnight stays over the years.
