About: Feeding, entertaining, and walking pets. Friends and family have trusted me in caring for their pets like my own when needed. I have had pets of all kinds growing up and have a passion for caring for dogs, cats and small animals such as guinea pigs. I currently work full time Monday through Thursday in the human services field as a case manager. My schedule is flexible and I am available every weekend. I currently have two cats who are my best friends. I have grown up around dogs and have dog sat for many years for friends and family. Walking and pop ins are the best part of my day.
“When I had my meet-up with Andrea, I sensed that she was exactly who I needed when leaving my cats for a week with a stranger for the first time. Although Max and Zoey usually hide from strangers/family/friends, Andrea sent me pictures of both of them! She also rinsed every can and pouch, and recycled them. Very tidy! Such an easy experience for me and I will utilize Andrea as often as needed if she is available.”

“Five stars isn’t enough. Our cat Felix absolutely fell in love with Eryn. He was relaxed, happy, and clearly adored while we were away. We got great updates, thoughtful care, and came home to a very content boy. Truly exceptional experience — we’ll be booking again without hesitation.”

“I was lucky to find this wonderful family right before heading out on vacation, and I couldn’t be more grateful. From the very start, communication was clear, prompt, and professional. They were reliable and stuck to the agreed schedule, which I truly appreciated. My dog a 5 month old Standard Poodle who’s a giant ball of mischief connected with them right away. It’s clear they have tons of experience and, most importantly, a genuine love for animals. I had originally booked someone else who canceled last minute with a silly excuse… but honestly, I’m glad it happened because it led me to the right people. They deserve all the stars. Highly recommend!”

About: As someone who has grown up always having dogs and cats, I know how important it is to have someone who is comfortable and loves being around animals to take care of them. I have been dog sitting family friends’s dogs and pets since I was 19. I work Monday-Friday on a 9-3:30 schedule. I am available before work and after 3:30 during the week. During the summer I will have more availability. I think it’s important to build trust with animals by providing them the space they need, especially when you’re someone new to them. I care for my own pets by spending quality time with them by taking them on walks (dogs, or even cats if that’s what you are looking for too!) and with my own pets, giving them lots of love and affection and an occasional treat (or 2.)
“We previously used our neighbor for trips but would come home to very upset cats. We hired Adam for a week and could not have been more pleased. He was patient and attentive to our skittish kitties. We looked forward to our silly cat updates and pictures. Adam really but our minds and hearts at ease. He even won over our cats love and affection towards the end. Very exceptional care.”

About: Animals enjoy my dog and I's company. Come unsure, leave longing to return. A visit will sure turn into a playdate and lots of misses and kisses. Your pets will feel right at home because the pets here aren't pets; their family. Your pet has plenty of space to run around and if they're up for it will do so on their walks. Each of us have our own personality and here theirs can shine, grow, and learn to be in and create harmony with the world around them.
“Kaitlen is exactly what you want from a pet sitter. She takes her job seriously and follows all your instructions. Her reports of the visit were very reassuring, as well as the photos. I will definitely ask for Kaitlen for my next trip! Pat Y.”

“Keith and Ashley were both extremely kind, informative and accommodating. This was my first time using Rover so I was grateful to find someone who could talk me through the process. Their questions on his care were very thoughtful and showed Keith and Ashley truly care about the animals that will be in their home. I had no worries leaving my dog with them, and he was wagging his tail as soon as I pulled up to their house for his second visit!”

“Angie was fantastic! I needed a last minute day care sitter for my dog while I had an event in the city near by, and she was able to accommodate my early morning pick ups/late night drop offs, and was even able to do it herself since I didn’t have a vehicle. “This was my first time booking with Vassu. Vassu was wonderful with my dog, Maddie. Maddie enjoyed her large fenced in yard, including discovering her dog door. Maddie was also spoiled with walks, dog toys, and the company of Vassu's dog Ninja. Vassu shared pictures with me through out Maddie's stay. Vassu was professional and made my first time experience with the Rover App a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I will definitely use Vassu in the future. Maddie and I thank Vassu, Ninja, and her family for all the love you gave her while she stayed.”

When I was younger I first started to dog sit for a few friends when they go out of town for the week/weekend, but now I enjoy giving all of my free time an attention to dogs. I love to run with dogs and play with them in the yard or at parks and see the smile on their face when they are playing with their toys! “Anna is a wonderful doggy care taker! Our two pups were very happy and she sent lots of pictures of them cuddling and hanging out just as if they were at our own home, not somewhere new! This was our first time using doggy day care for one of our dogs who we recently rescued so we were nervous but we couldn't have found a better person to make them feel at peace. Definitely recommend and will be requesting her in the future!”

“We are so grateful for the care Russ and Janet give Dallas! They are so accommodating and they care about him which allows me to be worry free while he is with them. Thank you both!”

“I recently had the pleasure of entrusting my shy and attached dog to a pet sitter, and I must say, it was an experience worth sharing. My apprehensions were high, as my furry friend isn't the most outgoing, but from the moment we met the sitter, I could sense her genuine love and understanding for animals. The sitter's approach was gentle and patient, giving my dog the space he needed to acclimate. What truly stood out was her ability to connect with him on a personal level. She took the time to learn his preferences, quirks, and comfort zones, ensuring he felt safe and loved in her care. Throughout my absence, I received regular updates and photos, which not only reassured me but also showcased the bond forming between my dog and the sitter. It was heartwarming to see him gradually open up and enjoy his time away from home. Upon my return, I found my dog relaxed, happy, and surprisingly less clingy. It was evident that the sitter's compassion and attention had a positive impact on him. I am immensely grateful for her dedication and professionalism. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a loving and attentive caregiver for their furry companions. She truly creates a nurturing haven for shy paws like mine.”

“Paul has been a great asset to getting the stimulation my German shepherd was bred to need! Both of my dogs respond so well to him. They’re very Intuitive dogs that instantly pick up on someone’s nervousness or lack of confidence - but Paul comes in with a confident but clam nature that they sense immediately. Both my dogs have struggled with reactivity - but have had no issues with him.”

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my deep dedication to providing personalized care tailored to each pet's needs. I have hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets, from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing extra attention and patience. I excel at establishing a safe, nurturing environment that helps pets feel comfortable and loved in their owners' absence. Beyond standard pet care, I bring exceptional attention to detail, ensuring pets maintain their routines, whether it's administering medication, feeding on a precise schedule, or providing stimulating activities to keep them happy and healthy. What truly makes my services unique is that I view pet care as not just a job but an opportunity to serve the community. As a mother of two teenagers, I involve my children in learning how to responsibly care for animals under my guidance. This helps them understand the value of compassion, empathy, and giving back to others by treating pets with the same love and respect we would our own family members. Together, we aim to provide peace of mind to pet owners by treating their furry family members as our own. Pet care is a natural and fulfilling part of my daily and weekly routine. As someone who juggles multiple responsibilities, I prioritize creating a structured schedule that allows me to provide attentive, consistent care to the pets I look after. Each day, I plan my tasks around the specific needs of the pets in my care, ensuring their feeding, walks, playtime, and any special requirements—like medication or grooming—are handled on time. My flexibility and time-management skills allow me to accommodate even last-minute requests, providing peace of mind to pet owners with busy lives. Incorporating pet care into my routine has also been an invaluable way to teach my children about responsibility and compassion. They often assist me with simple tasks under my supervision, giving them a sense of community involvement while allowing me to maintain a high standard of care for each pet. This integration of pet care into my daily life isn’t just a responsibility—it’s a passion that aligns perfectly with my desire to make a positive impact on both pets and their owners. Caring for pets in their own homes is a responsibility I take very seriously. I strive to provide a seamless experience that maintains the pet’s usual routine and ensures their comfort and safety in a familiar environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I begin by thoroughly understanding their specific needs, including feeding schedules, exercise preferences, playtime activities, and any medical or behavioral requirements. I ensure that every detail is followed precisely to keep pets happy and stress-free. During each visit, I prioritize interactive care, whether that’s engaging in their favorite games, taking them for walks, or simply providing companionship. For pets requiring additional attention, such as seniors or those with special needs, I bring patience and care to ensure they remain calm and comfortable. I also treat my clients’ homes with the utmost respect. I maintain a clean and organized space, follow any provided instructions, and ensure the home is secure when I leave. My goal is to not only care for the pets but also provide peace of mind to their owners, knowing their furry family members and home are in trusted hands.

I have personally owned 3 dogs, a bird, and many fish throughout my life. I am looking for extra work and have a very flexible schedule. I will typically be available most days and weekends, so don't hesitate to ask! I have a pre-veterinary bachelors degree and plenty of experience handling small pets I have a semi fenced large yard in the suburb area. I have two runs set up in the backyard, both allowing plenty of freedom. I have one dog, Digby. He is a mixed King Charles Cavalier spaniel and poodle. Digby is 6 years old and about 30lbs. He is sort of timid around other dogs but once he knows everything is safe, he loves to play! I live with my mother and my father.

“Indigo had a great time during his stay! Thank you so much Sandra for taking him in while I was on my trip & thank you for your flexibility with the pickup time!”

“Summer is the best of the best. She took such good care of our two pups and when one of our pups arthritis started to act up, she loved him and took care of him like he was her own. She was absolutely incredible and we will most certainly be rebooking and I would highly recommend Summer to watch anyone’s pups.”

“Heather was fantastic! I needed a last minute booking and she and her family were superb. My pup came home so happy and content!! Thank you!! Would recommend Heather to everyone.”

“First time using Rover and had a great experience with Keith & Ashley. Had last minute travel plans come up and they were very accommodating and kept me updated and in the loop all weekend. My dog is anxious and has some separation anxiety and they made him feel right at home.”

“Tricia was very easy to communicate with & made the process very easy! I felt great leaving my pup with her over the weekend and I know Pippin had a great time. She came back to me a very happy and smiley puppy.”
“Morgan was super helpful when I needed a sitter on my road trip! She was so good with Molly and helped out extra since Molly wasn’t feeling the best on my trip and eating irregularly”

About: I have had pets my whole life and have been trusted to care for them consistently. Having 2 of my own dogs and many reptiles/amphibians, my care for pets goes deeper than most. I am currently working on becoming credentialed as a NP so I am no longer working a full time job, making me free almost any day. I have a fenced in yard with 2 friendly dogs but am also available to come to your home as needed! I have a home of my own as well so I know the importance of keeping the home safe and clean for our little friends.
“Allison was exceptional. She took wonderful care of my little pal, and provided helpful updates with fantastic pictures/movies. We were able to relax and enjoy our time away!”

“Austin was fantastic about communicating both before and during our dog’s stay. He was great with her medications and making sure she was taken care of so we didn’t have to worry about her. She was one of the family while she was there. She’ll definitely be back”

“This is really our first experience learning Pepper with someone. Of course I was not sure how it will go and was a bit worried. But, Megan made it much much easier with her kindness on updates and sending pictures of Pepper. That was so nice. Thank you Megan! Overall a service I will use again and will recommend!”

“Monica took care of our 12 years old golden retriever. Unfortunately our dog had a seizure during the stay and Monica did great. She called me right away and because she couldn’t reach me she called our vet right away to receive instructions. Thank you so much Monica for taking care of Nara at least for a few hours.”
“We can't tell you how very grateful we are to have found Kristin on Rover. This was so much more than simply a safe and healthy boarding experience! She (and Mark!) engaged our Blake in daily life like he was their own. The frequent notes and photos let us know he was happy and content, not to mention thrilled to be with other dogs! He really had a great time! To say "highly recommend!" is truly an understatement. Thank you Kristin!”

About: Your pet is not a guest in our house, it’s a loved family member for life! We individually your pet’s care based on its preferences and habits. I am a pet lover working from home who loves the company and snuggles. My kids are crazy about dogs and love them dearly also. We live in a beautiful home with a big fenced in yard but do take the dog(s) out daily to explore in the woods and have fun!

“Steve and Deb are genuinely good people who love dogs and take great care of them. This was my first time boarding my dog with them and they made me feel comfortable from the initial meet and greet through the whole boarding stay. Very happy client!”

“Jessiana was very kind from the beginning. We had an appointment for her to meet Dobby before the established date. She always responded quickly and told us how the situation really was. My dog didn't want to eat much because she missed us, but she was attentive and looked for solutions for her to eat even a small snack. We will definitely use your services again. Thank you Jessiana!”

“My dog had a wonderful day with Manolita!! She’s so kind and caring and made us both feel comfortable! When I picked him up from his stay he was very comfortable and calm, which was a great sign! She also sent pictures and updates throughout the day, which I loved! I highly recommend her!”

“Alyssa was fantastic with my dog Emmy! From the moment she greeter her at the door you could tell Alyssa treats all dogs like they are her own, with lots of love and care. Alyssa provided consistent updates while my dog boarded with her for a few days. Her communication was positive and encouraging to know that while I was traveling my dog was safe and happy! Will confidently be booking Alyssa for boarding in the future.”

About: I have taken care of family pets for approximately 8 years. I am an avid animal lover and will treat your pet as my own. I’m currently working part time and have plenty of time to play with your fur baby as well as keep to any desired schedules. I have a fenced yard with a friendly dog that will love to keep your fur baby company. I can also crate your dog if that’s preferred.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and genuinely love being around animals. I currently have two golden retrievers and a cat of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and needs. I have experience watching both dogs and cats for others and always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I treat every pet like family — honestly, I like animals more than humans. I work full time, but I’m only a couple minutes from home and have a flexible schedule. I’m able to come home during the day when needed and can also work remotely at times, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, and companionship throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor play and two friendly dogs to help keep your fur baby company if they enjoy socializing. I can easily crate your dog if needed and am comfortable caring for animals of all breeds and sizes. Pets are welcome on the furniture and bed because we believe they deserve to feel at home and loved while you’re away. My husband and I both have so much love to give, and we’re always happy to provide cuddles, attention, and companionship if your pet enjoys affection.
