About: I limit the number of pets so they get personalized love and attention. From shy senior cats to high-energy puppies, I have had and worked with all ages and needs. I provide frequent updates catered to the owner’s request. I like to build trust through consistence and long-term relationships so your pet sees a familiar face and is happy. I am retiring from teaching and will have a part time work-from-home job and will have plenty of time for love and cuddles with your pets. I walk several times a day so your dog (or walking cat), gets plenty of exercise. I have a fenced in covered patio so they get plenty of fresh air! Again, I walk several times a day, have a park at the end of my road, I have a fenced in patio and there is a dog park within walking distance of my home. If they ride well in a car, I will take them to a big park for walks and dog park socialization. I have had dogs since I was born and cats all of my adult life. I have watched many animals for friends, families, neighbors, etc. I have had rabbits, turtles, fish, iguanas as well. I have a special place in my heart for animals.

About: I love animals and have taken care of dogs and cats since I was about 8. I now own 2 cats and a senior dog of my own! I work part time during summers so when I have free time I love to spend my days with my 2 cats and senior dog. My animals are my top priority so I make sure that I provide them with ample attention each day! I am very hands on with my pets and observant of their behavior. Developing a connection with each animal can help build mutual trust, and I will do that to the best of my ability with each animal I care for. For boarding bookings, I have a spare room that can serve as a safe space for pets that may feel overwhelmed or need isolation.

About: I have had a lot of experience, taking care of cats and dogs over the years. They were all taken care of with love. I can administer meds if they can be given orally. I take care of my two cats daily. I always make sure they have toys, time outside, weather permitting, with an electric fence to keep them safe. Fresh water from a water fountain, clean litter boxes, Royal Canin dry cat food, play time and lots of love. They are also members of Bansfield Hospital to make sure they are keep healthy. Whenever I would watch a cat in somebody’s home or have a drop in at someone’s home, I would make sure that all of their needs were met by following the Cat owners requests. I would also take my time in introducing myself to the cats that that are shy. I will give them a lot of love and attention and make sure that they were totally taken care of the way I take care of my own cats. I will also take pictures of the cats, give updates and send them to the client

About: I grew up in a house of 3 or more medium/ large dogs ranging from a brittany spaniel to a greyhound and later a Jack Russell. As a teen was the go to dog sitter when my parents had to go on business trips, making sure I let them out, and fed them in their separate areas. I have house sat for 3 cats and dog. I have experience walking dogs as well as feeding them their appropriate diets. I would be happy to play with your pet and make them feel loved while you're away. More recently I have been the go to sitter for my friends sweet senior pup and his wild puppy sibling, where I worked on leash walking and teaching her how to sit. Depending on the pet and their needs I can be available whenever works for them! I will work around my schedule to make sure they are getting the time and attention they need! I care for pets like they're my own, which means taking care of them as specified. At the end of the day, I want your pet to be safe and happy!

About: I've had cats and dogs all my life. I grew up with 3 dogs, and once I was in college I had two Rottweilers that have since passed onto the rainbow bridge. They were my pride and joy - our favourite thing to do together was camp! Looking to fill the pet void by helping some fellow yinzers out. About: Hi, I am Mamie (I have gone by Mamie since birth but am technically named Mary) and I have had dogs, cats, and many smaller critters throughout my life, and my own pets for over 25 years. My mother was a vet tech and I grew up rescuing many animals, and continued that tradition into adulthood, so I have ample experience in a multitude of pet types and situations I work as a housekeeper around the Pittsburgh area from about 7am-3pm mon-thursday, so will not be available in the home or for potty breaks during those hours. The absolute longest I would leave a pet during a house-sitting is 8 hours on those days. All other outings/errands would be less than four hours, tops, but usually only about an hour. I am comfortable with more or less any pet, from rodents to lizards and I am not squirmish about even the creepy crawlies and slithery noodles. I can and have given almost every kind of medication there is, including subcutaneous injections, and am comfortable doing so with care and compassion and confidence. I am just starting out with professional pet sitting on Rover, I did it years ago in Seattle as a side gig on my own with Craigslist posts, and have had a couple gigs on here so far. I am clean, responsible, and trustworthy. I will only take jobs with a meet and greet beforehand, and you can get a feel for my vibe and professionalism at that time, but I am sure you will like me and feel comfortable having me in your home. As a housekeeper I am used to going into strangers homes and having a high level of integrity and care for their space and belongings. I also am very clean and fastidious. I keep things looking like I wasn't there as much as possible, and will clean litter boxes daily and change water bowls daily and do deep cleans of water fountains 1x a week. I work as a housekeeper from 7am-3pm mon-thursday around the greater Pittsburgh area. If you have multiple dogs who need round the clock supervision and you book me at least three weeks before the sitting start date, than we could work that out and I could block out my housekeeping schedule for that time and just be available for the sitting job (my rates will be increased in this situation as I am priced for my current availability, not constant care and being unable to make my normal wages during the sit). I don't do sitting in my own home since I have two cats and a husband and no fenced in yard. In clients homes I am respectful, clean, tidy, responsible and trustworthy. I mind my business and am not judgemental. I will spend lots of time loving and socializing your pets, and I set alarms and try to keep potty breaks frequent to avoid accidents and less stress.
