About: I have had dogs my entire life, and taken care of them in full for my family, friends and neighbors. I love four legged furry friends; giving them walks, playing with them and making them feel comfortable. I have always adopted rescue dogs so have a good sense of how to take care of apprehensive dogs, as well as hyperactive or dogs that need more attention and a patient trainer. I have amateur experience training dogs and have learned tips from my sister who is an experienced dog trainer and dog walker. I have chickens at home and have cared for furry, scaled and feathered friends in the past, I love them all. I am patient and loving when it comes to taking care of animals and hope you will consider me to take care of your best friend(s)! My partner and I have recently lost our best furry friend and I would love a reason to get outside more often with my favorite animal (dogs!) or any animal at all. I currently work full time but am off on Sundays/Mondays as well as evenings. My job allows me to leave midday as needed. If I can plan ahead with a care schedule, I have no issue fitting walks/care as needed. I personally have always had free range dogs, but have experience with free ranging as well as crated dogs. I am comfortable working with contained pets as well; chickens, other birds, snakes, tarantulas etc.

“Sammy was great! We realized last minute we couldn’t take our pup to Rocky Mountain National Park while we were going to Estes Park for the weekend. Sammy was easy to communicate with and did her best to keep our pup comfortable during her stay even though she was a little anxious! Thankful for Sammy and would recommend!”

“My kids (huskies) absolutely loved their day out and can’t wait to play again. Layda is absolutely wonderful. She has such a wonderful tone with my hooligans. I loved the pupdates throughout the day. 100% will be booking with again and again (next time … promise they won’t smell like lake #momfail ?). Thank you!”

About: I have two rescue dogs. Their personalities are opposite as night and day. One is very energetic and the other is a couch potato! Whether you have a high energy pup or calm one, your dog will find a friend here. My energetic pup knows when to stop playing if it’s not reciprocated in the first 15 minutes. I have a giant playpen and crate for dogs who need their alone time or is required by the parents. Those doors are always open. No need to bring yours. I separate all dogs while eating and let them out when they’re done. We mostly stay in the living room watching tv or outside. I have grown up with labs, chihuahuas and pit bulls. I have been dog/cat sitting for years for family and friends. I am fairly new to Rover. My fur family enjoys hiking and going to the park. We walk the neighborhood for 2 hrs a day. I am comfortable giving medicine. My dogs are my children and I take care of other animals like their mine. I worked as a manager for large department stores so I am very dependable and responsible. Thank you for your interest in me! I am currently working part time. My job is flexible. However, if you’ve booked me less than 48 hrs, we will have to agree on a good time for a drop off. I am able to be present with my animals majority of the day. If you request to board, make sure you bring everything your dog needs for a successful stay. Appropriate size collars/harness, training pads, etc. If your dog is an escape artist or doesn’t walk on a leash well, disclose that to me. So I can prepare myself before each walk and not be caught off guard. I also provide a quiet relaxing space for dogs. If your dog barks excessively and not the casual barking here and there, I would not be able to babysit them. Feel free to reach out to me at any time. I will do the same if there’s a question I’m not sure of.

About: Most people teach dogs tricks. I help dogs find peace. I specialize in grounding high-energy, anxious, or shelter-raised dogs into calm, balanced companions. With a quiet home, a spacious yard, and structured daily walks, I create the conditions dogs need to reset their nervous systems. Whether your dog is easygoing or a handful, I meet them where they are — and lead them where they need to go. ASK ABOUT MY WEEK TRAINING PROGRAM TO STOP YOUR DOG FROM PULLING ON WALKS I’m not just a dog-sitter — I’m a calm, structured presence. I got my start fostering dogs from the shelter. Following the teachings of Caesar Milan, I was astounded how quickly wound up, hyper dogs can learn to let go and feel safe. Dogs don’t just stay with me; they reset with me. I understand how to lead, not just entertain. Whether it’s leash manners, excessive barking, or anxious pacing, I address the root of the behavior by giving dogs the one thing they crave most: leadership. When they leave my home, they’re calmer, more confident, and more connected. My home is safe, secure, and peaceful. Dogs are kept in a calm state here, with clear boundaries and zero chaos. The backyard is large and fully enclosed with a high 6-foot fence — plenty of room to roam, sniff, and reset. Inside the home, the energy is stable and quiet. No kids, no clutter, no overstimulation. Just a grounded environment where your dog can relax, decompress, and feel safe at all times.

“Mazie was happy to arrive at Stephanie’s every day we took her. She made it very clear to us that she enjoyed her days there. I will definitely rebook with her anytime we need daycare or boarding in the Jacksonville area. Stephanie was super accommodating with our crazy drop off and pickup schedule. I do wish I had received a few photos but I know that is difficult sometimes.”

About: I worked as a Veterinary technician from 2013-2018. Following this, I worked as a Medical Laboratory Technician at a Veterinary Laboratory from 2018-2022. I currently work remotely for the same Veterinary Laboratory Company. I have a ton of knowledge and experience with Animals! I am a full-time employee working remotely, giving me time to spend with your fur babies! I also do not have any pets at home myself. I always make sure to respect pets and pet owners based on their comfort levels and needs. I own my home with a fenced in back yard allowing time for play and potty breaks. I have years of experienced in pet care so I can quickly be pickup on pets’ social ques and behaviors. During walks I am equipped to properly leashed or always harnessed during walks. If needed I am familiar with lifesaving skills in case of emergencies and can administer medications if necessary.

About: This girl. I'm that person at your party that spends the whole night playing with your dog instead of socializing. And while it doesn't win me friends, it makes me a great dog sitter for your pup. I've got two little guys of my own, Chachi and Mac. I love rescues (and really all dogs tbh) and both my husband and I work from home so we spend a lot of time together. I believe that as much as dogs need food, water, and bathroom breaks, they need attention and love, as well. So, that means I'll be making sure your pets meet their maslow's hierarchy of dog needs. And if those needs include a lot of pets, playing, and occasional treats--I'm your man. I work from home and make my own hours so am available to work around your schedule. Please provide as much advance notice as possible and account for proximity when booking. While I have a fenced backyard, it isn't very large. I don't recommend large excitable dogs that need a lot of outdoor space to stay here. Additionally, as stated before, I have two small dogs. All dogs staying my house MUST BE FRIENDLY.

“Ashley was fantastic! Super responsive, accommodating and flexible. Roscoe seemed to love spending time with her and her adorable dachshund. And she took beautiful photos of Roscoe while he was there! Would absolutely recommend and book again.”
