About: I've dog and cat sat for friends and family for about 6 years, while having had a cat most of my life. I love spending time with animals. The doggies love the warm and cozy environment of our house and we have a great time with them in the backyard while grilling and playing corn hole. I have experience with various dogs of different levels of care. I can give them their medications if needed and will follow their routine exactly according to directions. I am happy to take a dog on a walk as well as let them in the backyard for a quick potty break and a breath of fresh air. We don't have any pets of our own, so we can give your fur baby full attention. Looking forward to meeting your pet and making sure they have a great vacation while you're gone! 😀 I am working remote, from home, and only gone in the early mornings for a couple of hours before starting my work day. My husband is in the office all day. Your pet would have me available during the day and both of us in the evening. Our weekends are pretty flexible and we'll be happy to spend time with your pet! We have a fenced yard while I'm also happy to take your doggie for a walk, depending on their routine. We have a house with a tile and vinyl floor, so I'm sure your pet would be happy to have a blankie or pet bed to keep them cozy and warm.

“We reached out to Kasandra pretty last minute to watch our cats over the holidays. She was super responsive, took great care of them, and sent us updates each day. We are super grateful, and I would highly recommend booking with her!”

About: I have been taking care of pets for over 35 years. I went to Pima Medical School and received my vet tech certification. Love my pets❤️ I’m retired, l have all the time. I have 2 pups of my own. I will devote whatever time l need too. I will prvide the best service to your fur baby. I have a fenced in back patio, with a doggy door. I take them on walks , have playtime. Give them love and plenty of attention

About: I’ve always been happiest around animals, especially dogs, and started dog sitting for neighbors and friends as a teenager. I eventually owned my own dog who has since passed and fostered a boxer puppy (who found his furever home 😊). I have experience training a puppy, caring for senior dogs, and caring for dogs with medical needs such as giving medications, physical limitations, etc., and experience with dogs that have behavioral issues. Now that I don’t have any furry friends of my own, I would love to have more dog time playing, walking, snuggling, and going on adventures, even if it’s just going out for a pup cup I currently work 9-5 in office 5 days a week so my availability is primarily weekends. I am available to pet sit during the week however, if the pet is okay being at home alone during the day. I live in a sizable apartment with a nice patio on the first floor and there is plenty of room for crating if needed. On weekends, I’m able to take pets out for potty breaks frequently and spend the full day with them. On weekdays, I’m able to go home at lunch to take the pet out, and as needed at night. When temps are cool enough, I can walk dogs at least once a day.

About: I've been around dogs since the day I was born—literally! I’ve grown up with dogs and have experience caring for all kinds of pups, from energetic puppies to sweet seniors. I’ve owned both a fox red Labrador and a black Lab, so I’m very familiar with high-energy breeds, their needs, and their personalities. Over the years, I’ve dog-sat for many families, and I treat every pup like my own. Whether it’s giving senior dogs their meds and moving at their pace, or keeping up with playful pups who need lots of activity, I know how to make dogs feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Plus, I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoy forming bonds with every dog I meet! Caring for pets is something I naturally make time for because it’s something I truly enjoy. Whether it’s part of my daily schedule or weekend routine, I love being active and spending time with animals—it never feels like a chore. I make sure each dog gets the attention, exercise, and care they need, whether that means morning walks, playtime throughout the day, or relaxed evenings with some extra snuggles. I’m also great at sticking to feeding schedules, medication routines, and any specific instructions a pup might need. Dogs aren’t just a part of my routine—they’re a big part of my life. Whether I’m watching your pet in my home or coming to yours, my goal is always to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In my home, I provide a calm, pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to play, rest, and relax. I keep a close eye on routines like feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and any special care needs—just like I would for my own pups. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I make it a priority to follow your instructions closely so your dog can stick to their usual routine in a familiar environment. I treat your space with respect, keep things tidy, and send regular updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. Whether it’s walks, playtime, meals, or just companionship, I’m all about keeping tails wagging and owners worry-free!

About: I began petsitting for neighbors and family friends when I was in high school, and the adventure never stopped! I have experience with small to large dogs, with a preference for a good cuddle. I fostered over a dozen puppies through Maricopa and Wickenburg shelters, and enjoyed seeing them grow! I can administer medicine, look after your pup in recovery or illness, and perform basic grooming needs. Monday-Thursday, 5 pm-10 pm for drop-ins and late night walks. Friday-Sunday, open availability for all services, including overnight care and drop-ins! I am a morning person and appreciate seeing the sunrise with a furry friend nearby. I will care for your fur-baby like my own family in the comfort of their own home, with respect to your feeding and potty schedules, leaving plenty of room for play and entertainment. I can plan to spend hours at a time with your animal depending on their needs. My car is not safe for transporting your pets (except in the event of an emergency), so walks will occur close to home where they know best.

About: The three of us would like to welcome your dog(s) as our guests! I (Jacky) was a professional pet sitter for 16 years, then left the business while we prepared to be parents. Our son is now 8 years old and he is sweet and gentle to animals. We had two dogs and lost them a couple of years ago. We were all heartbroken! Then, we started pet sitting trying to fill the holes in our hearts. Then the owner of one of our frequent guests let us know that she had to rehome one of her dogs. The pets we watch are truly like temporary parts of our family... so he became ours! We are thrilled to now have a new family member! King is a sweetheart but we believe in proper dog introductions - meeting in a neutral place first, going for a walk together, then inviting your dog(s) into our home. No aggressive dogs or dogs that aren't good with kids, please. Thank you! I work part-time but am trying to work as little as possible so I can be as much of a full-time mom as I can. I will be your dog's mom too while you are away! My husband also adores dogs and works full-time from home. Your dog is allowed on our furniture and has free range of our home. We don't have a doggy door but we have a wonderful big backyard and we are home a lot to let your dog(s) out. We love to walk! We can give medicine, brush your dog, respect your wishes and dog's dietary needs to share food or not, and otherwise just make him/her a part of our family while in our care! Alex and I are available much of the day between the two of us. We both work mostly from home, although I do some personal training for clients in their homes on the side. I work away from home maybe 15 hours a week, and almost never more than 4 hours away at a time. My husband is home more than I am and he enjoys pet care, too! Pets are not just pets to us, they are family. We want your dog(s) to be good friends with our dog! We will take your dog(s) for walks, feed them on your schedule, give as much petting as possible, encourage play with toys, and snuggle as much as your dog(s) enjoy.

Duskfire pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jordan was fantastic! I was apprehensive because I have never used a sitter outside of friends and family before. She was phenomenal! I was completely at ease with her taking care of our cat. She sent updates throughout the day. Even more phenomenal, there was an issue with a key to our home where the key broke inside the lock. Jordan went to the hardware store and got the key replaced without our asking her to. She was fantastic and we will definitely utilize her services in the future! I can’t speak highly enough of her.

Katherine was great with my cat while I was away. I moved to PHX recently, so I had to go through trying to find a new sitter, which is never a fun time. I'm glad that I was able to find a trustworthy person so easily. Thank you again for all your care while I was away. I will definitely be booking again.

Briana is always attentive and considerate to my cats. She keeps me updated with pictures and gives each cat the kind of attention they need while we are gone. One is a recluse, one is a wild child and one is a grumpy old man, and she's tuned into each of them.

Prettygirl was scarce while Jordyn was watching after her-she's very timid, but when I got home she was happy to see me and everything seemed to be just fine. I hope we have a chance for Jordyn to really "meet" Prettygirl so they can get acquainted. Communication was excellent (with photos) and I am very pleased with her service.
