“Mary Beth, wonderful host for Bentley he was immediately at home. She and her lovely family took great care of him. He was only there for maybe close to 4 hours, but it was a worry free time for me. I highly recommend her services.”

“Scotcharoo loves going to see his friends. Always comes home happy, healthy and tired. Puts my mind at ease knowing they take as much care with him as I would. Thank you!!”

“I can't say enough good things about Michelle. This was my first time using rover to find a day care for my pup and it was the best experience possible. Michelle took in my pup Fyve for the day last minute and when i had a change of plans she boarded him for the night with no problems. He had a lot of friends to play with and a great fenced in yard to run around in. Michelle is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Fyve is still a pup and Michelle gave me some great tips on how to train him and correct a few of his bad habits. Thanks you Michelle.”

“Vickie is an absolute gift! She is wonderful with our puppy Bentley and treats him like her own. She sends updates and pics throughout the day and we know he has had an awesome time because he’s all tuckered out when we bring him home! Her dog Homer is so gentle with our puppy and they love playing together. Highly recommend her!!”

“Jennifer and Michael are fabulous and very accommodating with my schedule. They treat Mack like one of their own and part of the family. I would highly recommend them!”

“She was great at communication and most of all, she took excellent care of my fur child! I loved the pictures and hearing the updates. My dog is terrified of normal boarding facilities, so this was a perfect fit.”

“I am so grateful for the wonderful care of my older "puppy" Grover who spent the day being cared for. I always know that he's in great hands. Highly recommend and will definitely rebook when needed.”

About: I’m the friendliest pet watcher and house sitter around Nashville. I have watched hundreds of animals on Rover since 2018 and privately watch for celebrities as well. I’ve raised and trained over a dozen dogs and cats from Rottweilers to Labradors and even a rescue or two. Thru Rover, I have made hundreds of house visits watching little puppies all the way to Great Danes, cats of all ages, and cared for exotic animals like chameleons, chickens, ducks and even fish. I prefer to board animals in my home and offer complete pickup and drop off service! When I do an overnight stay I will treat your home with care and don’t mind grabbing the mail so no one knows you’re away. If I watch your pets in your home not only do I follow the pets normal routines but also teach them tricks while they are with me. I work from your home so your pets get the best care available. I meet with you to understand your pets needs and prefer to keep their routines. All clients love all of the pictures I send and know that their animals will get food and meds at the same time as they normally do with minimal changes. I work from home so all animals will get tons of attention and you will get plenty of photos of them as well so you can rest easy on your trip. We let them roam freely and take care of their needs as you have instructed. They also have access to a dark park and will go on walks weather permitting.
About: Having owned dogs almost my whole life, from Rottweilers to Black and Tan Coonhounds, and Labradors in between, I’m extremely comfortable with walking and taking care of big dogs. I’ve also taken care of Bull dogs, dachshunds, Yorkies, and other vertically challenged dogs. I own three cats myself, and have taken care of countless others. Currently, I hold the world championship in my household for cleaning cat litter, feeding and watering the kitties. I also have been called an amazon warrior, (thank you mother in-law) because I also groom my own cat. Although, I don’t recommend you hire me for my grooming skills. I am well acquainted with pets that have a whole hearted desire to escape and have become quite crafty at keeping them safe and in their homes. I feel good about my 33 years of being an animal lover, and I hope you do too. Since school has started, my schedule is filling up. I have private and Rover clients that I work with on a weekly basis, so please ask me for my availability. For boarding: I have a fenced in yard with a friendly dog who loves to play and needs a walk every day. For clients I drop in on, this will change with each clients specific needs, or wants.
“We are moving and needed a last minute sitter for our English Bulldog puppy. Ashley was able to help us last minute, kept us updated with pictures and how Chunk was doing. Chunk came back to us happy and healthy, we definitely recommend Ashley!”

“Cant say enough good things about Christian. She took care of Dobby like her own and was so accommodating with our schedule. I cant thank her enough and would highly recommend her to anyone visiting Spring Hill.”

About: My husband and I work from home and would love to host your fur baby! We have a 7-pound maltipoo, Gizzie, who would love to snuggle with your pup in our bed. Our three cats are used to dogs being boarded in our home and don't mind the extra company. When dogs stay for overnight visits, they have breaks every 1-2 hours and receive lots of cuddles and playtime. Each day they can enjoy long walks in the neighborhood. I also do drop-ins and dog walks so your pups can stretch their legs when you're not around. I love sending videos and pics of your fur baby enjoying themselves and frequent feedback about how they are doing so you never have to worry about a thing! My husband and I work from home and are able to give your pup the attention it needs while you're away! We love on your pet and like to send lots of updates. I like to treat your pup like my own. We go for regular walks for exercise, have frequent potty breaks, and enjoy lots of time to play!
About: I have grown up with large and small dogs owning, walking, and sitting. I also own a Shih Tzu she’s 13 and loves other dogs. She’s always looking for another dog to play with and I work from home now, so I thought this could be great for people if they want their dog to hang with another pup, someone who is reliable, responsible, and will provide their dog with so much love while they’re gone. I treat every dog like their my own, I only serve good ingredients treat wise, I can cook for special diets and serve special food if needed. I allow dogs on my couch, I have a fenced in big backyard for them to run around, and will care for them as they’re my own! I also like to walk the neighborhood, and have a very safe neighborhood to walk dogs in too. I love to play, so they will have plenty of action! I work for myself from home so I can be with them and play with them all day, no problem. Looking for my senior dog to have some company while also helping some other people who want to give their dogs some extra love, more 1 on 1 attention, or maybe a dog with anxiety who needs attention, who doesn’t play much but doesn’t like to be home all day. Have them come to me! I treat all pets like they are my own. I absolutely love animals, and could spend all day with pets! I get so excited when I can be with animals and love their energy. I can administer meds. I’m very cautious if they have dietary needs, and I am very detail oriented and listen to the owners requests.
About: I've had dogs all my life, but grew up loving animals of all kinds. I have previously done pet check-ins and dog walks on Rover. I did not do in-house sitting, in order to keep my house my senior dog's safe space. But I lost my best friend after 17 1/2 years, and am missing the friendship and companionship in my home. I would like to slowly open my home to new furry dog friends. I am familiar with senior dog issues and giving medications in pill and powder form, however, I don't have experience with injections, so I would not be the best fit if your pet requires those. I work at home full time during the week 7:00-4:00. Although I am home during the day and mostly available, I do have meetings throughout the day and can get pulled into conference calls, so I am not always instantly available and will need a little notice to book or cancel so that I can make sure I see your message and have availability when you drop off/pick up. I am open on how to best care for your pet based on your needs. I know from having a senior dog they all have their little quirks that make each one different. Do they have special food or special needs? Please let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate them. I just lost my best fur friend after 17 1/2 years, so I am looking for other fur friends to love on. I work full time from home, and am mostly available when not in meetings/calls. I would like to meet/call pet parents before their pet's first booking and get as much information and instruction as possible. I want to make sure that the pet parent's expectations are met.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every breed and size since I was 4 years old. My kids also really enjoy picking up the dog poop while we are on walks (hey, I’ll take that as a win!) part of the money goes to them for being the best helpers. My husband works full time from home. Someone is always home and available to take care of your pet. We have sports on Saturday morning where we are gone for 3 hours, other than that we are typically home We do not have a fenced yard, but we have 3 kids who love taking the animals out with us and helping with walks. I am the one who holds the leash, they enjoy running, picking up after the animals, throwing toys with them to play fetch.
Duplex dog parents share their Rover experiences
Michelle and her daughter did a fine job hosting Bernie in thier home. We wouldn’t hesitate to let them care for him again. All our interactions took place in the driveway, so I can’t comment about some of the other questions. But I’m confident everything inside the house was fine.
