“Ashley, who goes by “Red,” is an absolutely wonderful human being, and if she is available, book her! Back in May, as a first-time user of Rover, I created 3 separate bookings with a sitter who had glowing reviews. However, on the day of our meet & greet—only 1 week before our first trip—she completely ghosted us. I nearly panicked because I didn’t think we’d be able to find an available sitter on such short notice. I hopped back on Rover, entered my dates, filtered by Star Sitters, and hit “search.” Red was at the top of my search results, and after looking over her profile, I felt like she may be a good choice. Although her calendar showed her as available for the dates of our trip, I was prepared to be let down. I sent her a message explaining our situation. Not only did she respond quickly, she also responded with kindness & empathy. Best of all, she was available to sit for our beloved kitty! AND she volunteered to come over the next morning for a meet & greet! Less than 24 hours after reaching out to her, Red messaged me to let me know she was on her way to my house. Upon opening my door, I immediately liked her. Seriously. She just radiates this incredible energy! She is also so kind, compassionate, and engaging. She explained how she has devoted her life to caring for animals, and she just lit up as she was telling us about it. Best of all? Sassy, our shy & anxious kitty, came out of hiding pretty quickly to investigate her, and by the end of the visit, was giving Red love rubs on her leg! This was unprecedented, and we were absolutely shocked. Sassy’s response to meeting Red left no doubts in our mind; we had chosen the perfect caretaker for our precious kitty. We booked Red for two of our three camping trips. This review is based on our second booking with her, and we couldn’t be more pleased with her! She is the sweetest person! And an excellent communicator, which is vital for us anxious pet parents who are forced to leave our beloved (and vulnerable!) pets home alone. I had no qualms leaving Sassy alone this second time because I knew that Red would take excellent care of her…and she absolutely has! I am so sad that Red is not available for our third trip, but if she’s available next summer, you can bet I will be booking her!”

About: Hi! My goal is to make sure your pet is safe and comfortable while getting the best form of care I can provide. Growing up with animals, especially dogs, has taught how to be a patient and caring person. I’ve built a relationship with my own dog off of trust and want to do the same while caring for your pupper! I’m a focused and detail oriented person and will work to ensure all your specific needs are met. Currently I’m working part time, so I have a flexible and pretty open schedule to take care of your pets. I’m also good with last minute changes and can easily switch around my schedule for what works best for you! I live in a small town with plenty of areas to walk dogs and I also have a fenced in back yard. I have one dog and two cats that do well around other animals, as well as a trustworthy vehicle to take me to your location.

About: For years I dogsat for my aunt's tennis-ball-loving Labrador retriever and affectionate flat-coated retriever, my friend's dutiful old English sheepdog and mischievous Polish lowland sheepdog, and my friend-of-a-friend's terrier. Now I've moved to an area where I know much fewer people, so I'm getting on Rover to expand my reach and start spending time with dogs again. On most days I have lots of excess energy, and I find it hard to say no when a dog wants to play, so you can expect your dog to have some entertainment when I watch him. (If for whatever reason your dog is restricted from exercise I can handle that too, though I always find it sad to see.) I also enjoy giving rubs, and people are always impressed at how much face-licking I can stand. I've had to deal with my share of unusual incidents during dogwalking (including once having to lift a strange dog up by the scruff of his neck because he was attacking the dogs I was walking), so I feel ready for just about everything in that regard. I am presently working a full-time temporary job that is expected to end in early August 2025. During this time I will only be available for pet care from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. on weekdays, while on weekends I am typically available all day. I like to spend frequent outdoors time while dogsitting, both walks and yard play. I am comfortable with sleeping in the same bed as your dogs if this is desired.

In the busy hustle and bustle of today's high-paced society, I know the stress one can feel from the guilt of a busy schedule. I am passionate about giving dog moms and dads a little peace of mind knowing that they have someone to check in on their furry children, take them on walks, or stay with them overnight when needed. I have 15+ years experience as a dog companion, walker, sitter, and trainer. I have been a companion of and have worked with dogs ranging in size from tea cup to large breed. I've been the go to sitter/walker/check-in for all of my friends and family for years. I am a lover of all animals, I volunteer with local animal shelters, and used to spend countless hours chasing squirrels with my beloved dog (RIP Willow) at the local park (disclaimer: no squirrels were harmed in the writing of this bio). My schedule is flexible and allows for throughout-the-day care for furry children of all shapes and sizes. I am available to check-in and spend 30 minutes or more with your furry friend providing services such as a belly rubs, walks, brush-downs, games of catch, administering oral medication, bathroom breaks, etc. I am open to providing other services, on a case-by-case basis. I am also available for overnight stays at your home with your furry children. For overnights, I will provide a walk in the evening and in the morning, will give your woofie a brush-down, provide meals per their dietary schedule and food type, and will tuck them in with a bedtime story. I am open to snuggling and sharing a bed with your woofie if that is their normal routine (I know my own furry child loved to snuggle at night). If there are any particular parts of your pet's routine you would like followed or any additional services you would like to request, please let me know. I am passionate about the care and happiness of pets. To me, pets are family; they have their own unique personalities and they love us unconditionally. I am attentive, caring, experienced, and professional. Let's chat about how I can make your furry friend's day awesome! I work remotely, so I have plenty of time to devote to your pet(s) and am able to work from anywhere as long as I have access to reliable wifi. I am able to work from anywhere, which allows me to pick up on your pets routine where you leave off while you’re away or at work. About: I have been around animals my entire life. I grew up on a farm with cattle, cats and dogs, and have been involved in 4-H for over ten years. I have had my “own” dog since I was 16 years of age. (When I’m offering Rover services I no longer have a pet/am in between having one) I love to get exercise after work and enjoy the company of a furry friend with me. I live an active lifestyle and love playtime with the pups. I have been around dogs of all ages and sizes and have worked with dogs that are fearful and have separation anxiety. Let me know what your pets needs are and I can surely accommodate! I work full time M-F, but am home shortly after 4pm most evenings. I do require that animals are crate trained for any in home stays. This is for my homes protection as well as your pets! Pet will have access to the house when my husband or I are home. We require crate for evenings and while at work. Our yard is not fenced, but we live on over 2 acres with plenty of space for leashed or non leashes exercise. We are on a small lake, so if your pet enjoys swimming they’re in luck!

About: I have been keeping pets since I was a small child. My father owns a farm, my mother is a professional dog groomer. I worked for preuss pets over 5 years. I can handle anything from hobby farm animals to exotics like birds and reptiles! You name it I've probably watched it before. Welcomed to new experiences too! About: I've owned and loved three Cocker Spaniel dogs through out my twenty years of my life . I find being with dogs comforting, fun, and enjoyable. I've been told in my jobs that I am reliable, caring,and a hard working, individual. My pet experiences have ranged from caring daily for a puppies, daily dog walking, and staying at a variety of houses to dog sit for extended periods of time. In these experiences I have watched toy sized dogs up through large sized breeds, and I have had many repeated customers. Currently I am available and flexible to work around you and your dog(s) needs. I believe spending time with your dog(s) would be enjoyable for both of us, and we would have a blast together.
