About: I have been around animals my entire life. I grew up on a farm with cattle, cats and dogs, and have been involved in 4-H for over ten years. I have had my “own” dog since I was 16 years of age. (When I’m offering Rover services I no longer have a pet/am in between having one) I love to get exercise after work and enjoy the company of a furry friend with me. I live an active lifestyle and love playtime with the pups. I have been around dogs of all ages and sizes and have worked with dogs that are fearful and have separation anxiety. Let me know what your pets needs are and I can surely accommodate! I work full time M-F, but am home shortly after 4pm most evenings. I do require that animals are crate trained for any in home stays. This is for my homes protection as well as your pets! Pet will have access to the house when my husband or I are home. We require crate for evenings and while at work. Our yard is not fenced, but we live on over 2 acres with plenty of space for leashed or non leashes exercise. We are on a small lake, so if your pet enjoys swimming they’re in luck!

About: I manage a house of five high energy sport dogs, who have varying degrees of difficulty and personalities and arousal levels that need to be managed. I am proficient at caring for puppies, seniors, high energy dogs, dogs who have to be managed around other dogs, and other special needs dogs or situations. I currently walk an older couples dog weekly to ensure she gets out and some exercise each week. I work from home and can take multiple breaks to walk away throughout the day. I love being outdoors and going for walks in any type of weather. Rain is something I try to avoid. I am free to work remotely from any location if you happen to need a pet sitter in home or multiple check ins throughout a specific time period.

Growing up, my family had a variety of pets, including an Old English Bulldog and German Shepherds, which helped shape my love for dogs from an early age. I am a junior at Hope College home for the summer so my schedule is fairly open and I am very flexible. I am usually busy weekends and Tuesday and Thursday nights when I am coaching lacrosse. I can care for your dog in your home just as you would care for your dog if you were home. I could easily crate your dog if needed, take them for walks, feed them, and take them out to use the bathroom.

It is very comforting to know Lisa also has a senior chihuahua, and is very experienced with dog care. I am happy Mika seems to really enjoy her walks with Lisa and was able to get comfortable with her fast. Lisa takes her time and is in tune with Mika’s needs. I feel bad on days I have to leave Mika alone at home for so long for work, so it means the world to me that Lisa makes sure her time with Mika is quality bonding.”

During their stay with me, your fur baby will be looked after by me and my family in our home & treated as one of our own. we offer a nice sized & fenced in backyard where your Pet can run around and have as much zoomies as they’d like in a safe environment. We will provide you with pictures/videos & keep you updated about your pets well being & just to send over any cute pictures of course. I can come to you! We offer house sitting/drop in visits/doggy daycare & walks ! Please feel free to let us know if you would rather have house visits so we can go over every detail when it comes to the safety of your pet & home ! My at home & work schedule is pretty flexible So I can always work something Out to Make proper accommodations & I also have family members with verified rover accounts if I ever need help We usually have anywhere from 1-3 pets with us a week and will make proper accommodations when planned accordingly, (please contact me a week in advance if you pet is to be kept alone/away from other pets)

“Holly is great!! We would give her 10 stars! Bear had never been away from us, he had a couple of rough night at first. But Holly was right there helping him, keeping us informed. Holly sent us pictures sometimes twice a day!! That helped us, because we missed him so very much. We knew he was having so much fun in her big fenced in area and going on walks to the library (where Bear had some friends he could see). We are definitely go to use Holly again IF WE ever leave Bear Again! We totally recommend Holly, actually I already have!”
