About: I have been around animals my entire life. I grew up on a farm with cattle, cats and dogs, and have been involved in 4-H for over ten years. I have had my “own” dog since I was 16 years of age. (When I’m offering Rover services I no longer have a pet/am in between having one) I love to get exercise after work and enjoy the company of a furry friend with me. I live an active lifestyle and love playtime with the pups. I have been around dogs of all ages and sizes and have worked with dogs that are fearful and have separation anxiety. Let me know what your pets needs are and I can surely accommodate! I work full time M-F, but am home shortly after 4pm most evenings. I do require that animals are crate trained for any in home stays. This is for my homes protection as well as your pets! Pet will have access to the house when my husband or I are home. We require crate for evenings and while at work. Our yard is not fenced, but we live on over 2 acres with plenty of space for leashed or non leashes exercise. We are on a small lake, so if your pet enjoys swimming they’re in luck!

About: I use to work for my grandmother who would raise dogs, take care of them, and then give someone a dog. I would clean up after dogs in all ways. Take care of the puppies with the moms. I would bathe all the dogs and get them groomed up to go to their new home! I am available after 4:30 P.M. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. After 3:30 P.M. on Wednesdays. And available most times and nights on the weekends! At this moment in time I do not have the ability or place to actually house sit at my home but, I can come to you!

The very first animal of my own was my cat Oliver who came home in 2014. I sadly lost him this March but he truly fueled my passion for animals! I have been helping care for my own dogs since I was around six years old and have experience with both large breeds, like Labrador Retrievers, and small breeds, like Chihuahuas. As cat owners, we know how sensitive and stressed they can get, and introducing cats to other new cats just adds more unnecessary stress. This separate entrance and room allows for a stress free, safe environment that's large and clean to play and hang in, all to themselves! They will have their own sanitized, fresh litter, litterbox at the ready for them. No need to have to haul your own supplies here! Just bring any food and treats (or any special toys or blankets that you feel might be good things for them to enjoy their stay better, or be more at ease!) Your pets must be fully vaccinated in order to come stay, so please be ready to show proof of up to date vaccinations prior to any boarding bookings. This is for the safety of both your fur babies and mine.
