“Again, as always, Karen and Donald did a wonderful job with my Jax. They got him eating his normal food and off all his begging for treats! Jax always comes home happy and healthy. I don’t know what I would do without Karen and Donald to board my furbaby!”

“Outstanding!! Our Sandy came home and was happy, clean, and safe! Jahada sent pictures and videos while we were gone for a week in Florida so we could see how active and happy she was while we were away. We were afraid she wouldn’t want to leave Jahada! 😆 we will always request Jahada! We are so appreciative!”

“Annie is so sweet. She treated my dog (and I), kindly and attentively. After the meet and greet, I felt secure to leave my "baby" with her- She was so obviously a true animal lover who knows first-hand how important pets are to us:)”

About: I’ve own dogs since I was little. German Shepherd, poodle, Mastiff mix. Board and dog sitting for friends and family throughout the years. Love dog company, caring for them, providing the best attention, playtime, basic training and good nutrition to ensure their happiness and a healthy life. Animals are like family. Their wellbeing is very important to me. They are just amazing and precious. My last best friend, my boy Dice, (now in heaven), a 110lbs American Bulldog, was potty trained at 3 months old. As he grew, I taught him not to pull when on a leash, to sit and lie down, to be cool when we had visitors, to seek, fetch, obedience and other basic commands that are important to teach at an early age. When I was away from home, I made sure he had the best sitters or boarding possible. I understand you would like the same for your dog. After 14 happy years, sadly, age came with arthritis, difficulty standing up or walking. But I was there 24/7 to provide the best care and love. I administered oral medication every 6 hours for 1 year, allowing him to still do very short potty trips and walks outdoors. The last 4 months of life, all was done indoors. I helped to get to an area I prepared to go potty. Sometimes it happened on the way. He had to be cleaned up several times a day and fed by hand. Sleepless nights always by his side. We made several trips to the emergency hospital until the doctor said it was time to let go. Very painful. His ashes are with me now. He will be forever in my heart. I will do it all over again. Dogs are like children. They deserve all the best. Until I find my next best friend, let me give yours all my love and attention. I work from home with my own schedule. I have plenty of time to provide all the attention he/she needs to be comfortable, loved and happy. Keeping your dog mentally and physically entertained is important for a perfect day. I don’t have a fenced yard but plenty of outdoor space, surrounded by trees for short walks on a leash, games and a backyard deck & porch for free time and fresh air. Your puppy will feel at home and cozy.
“Anna was able to get my boy Timber in on short notice and he had a fun day getting tired playing with all the other pups (supervised 1 on 1 play). Convenient location, and good communication. Would call again if the need arose.”

“Adam did a great job boarding and caring for our 80lb higher energy labrador. Very communicative and sent pictures. We also requested Adam apply an allergy meds which he was great at. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Adam!”

“SHE WAS AMAZINGGG, my baby Valentina seemed so happy and calm at her house! She sent me updates whenever I asked :) she was great, good communication, everything was good I’m leaving my baby kitty with her next time.!”

“Danielle & her daughter are absolutely the sweetest. The home was spotless, the area was inviting and our dog seemed to be really happy. We will definitely be seeing her again.”

“Kaitlyn was very nice to work with. Maddie had a good stay and I felt very comfortable leaving her there. Kaitlyn kept us updated on how Maddie was doing and even sent pictures. I will definitely use Kaitlyn again to watch Maddie.”

“I was very nervous to leave my new puppy with a sitter for the first time, but they made it a seamless and stress free process. They are so kind and welcoming and sent so many updates and pictures! 11/10! Thank you again!”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs and other pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently have a Yorkshire Terrier, a Mini Goldendoodle, and a ferret, so caring for animals is part of my daily life. I have experience with basic training, administering medications, and understanding each pet’s unique needs. I personally trained my dog to become a service animal, which taught me patience, consistency, and how to build trust with animals. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their comfort, safety, and happiness. Pet care is already a big part of my everyday routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to the pets in my care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, administering medication, or simply providing companionship, I make sure each pet receives plenty of attention and care. I understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s routine and will do my best to keep them comfortable and happy while you’re away. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, walks, and daily routines to help pets feel secure and stress-free. I pay close attention to their behavior and needs while providing plenty of affection, exercise, and companionship. I respect both the pet’s environment and the owner’s home, ensuring everything is kept clean, safe, and well cared for. My goal is to provide reliable care and peace of mind while you’re away.

If your dog is on a retractable leash, I will make the call to use either a standard leash or British lead. It ensures the safety of both your companion and my own when on walks.

Dunmore pet parents share their Rover experiences
If I could give more than five stars, I would—honestly, this was one of the most above-and-beyond experiences we’ve ever had with any service, not just dog sitting. From the very beginning, she was kind, communicative, and incredibly professional—but what truly blew us away was everything that happened *after* we booked her for what was supposed to be just a single day. Due to unexpected circumstances on our end, that one day turned into three… and she handled it with nothing but grace, flexibility, and genuine care. Not once did she make us feel like it was an inconvenience. In fact, she reassured us the entire time and treated our dog like her own. She kept us updated regularly with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. You could tell our dog was not only well cared for, but truly happy and comfortable. It’s rare to find someone who connects so naturally with animals, but she absolutely does. And then—when we thought we couldn’t possibly be more impressed—she somehow raised the bar even higher. She went out of her way to return our dog to us, taking not one but TWO Ubers to make sure everything worked out smoothly. Who does that?! That level of dedication, effort, and positivity is almost unheard of. The entire time, she maintained the most amazing attitude—warm, patient, and completely unbothered—when most people would understandably be stressed or frustrated. It’s hard to put into words just how grateful we are. She didn’t just “watch our dog”—she showed kindness, flexibility, and a level of commitment that genuinely meant a lot to us during a stressful situation. If you are even *considering* booking with her, do it immediately. She is reliable, compassionate, communicative, and truly goes the extra mile (literally and figuratively). We would trust her again in a heartbeat and will absolutely be booking with her in the future. Thank you again for everything—you are truly one of a kind!
