“I couldn’t be happier with the care Jordyn P. gave my dog, Loki, while I was away for four days. She is the true definition of a dog lover! From the moment Loki arrived, she made sure he felt comfortable and loved. She gave him plenty of playtime, lots of one-on-one attention, and treated him like part of her family. It was exactly the home-like environment I was hoping for. Jordyn was also excellent at communicating. She kept me updated every day with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. The best part was seeing Loki come home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. That told me everything I needed to know—he was comfortable, felt at home, and was genuinely loved during his stay. I highly recommend Jordyn P. to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and compassionate dog sitter. Loki and I will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you, Jordyn, for taking such wonderful care of my boy!”

“Kaitlyn was great! She was responsive, easy to deal with. She accommodated my short notice needs. She sent photos and updates on Sallys status. I felt Sally was in good hands and would take her back to kaitlyn again!”
“Charlie had two great weeks with Jack and Joanne! He lives it at their farm and is comforting to know they live him back. Thanks again! See you again in September.”

“Fatima took care of our 75lb high energy Pitbull like it was her very own dog. We left for a vacation for 16 days and Fatima took over as both Mom and Pack Leader. She walked, fed, gave medication, cleaned ears, bathed, played with, etc. We got photos and vids daily, which gave us peace of mind that Leo was in great care. Highly Recommend!”

“Adam was wonderful with Scout! I was a little nervous about boarding him since he usually stays with family, but Adam and his family truly made it feel like he was staying with relatives of his own. He sent regular updates and pictures throughout Scout's stay, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Every photo showed Scout looking happy, comfortable, and cozying up to everyone. It was clear he was getting plenty of attention and affection. When we picked Scout up, he was happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. Adam made it so easy to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing Scout was in great hands. We're incredibly grateful for the care he provided and would absolutely trust him with Scout again in the future!”

About: I have had dogs my entire life. I absolutely love animals. I hope to one day open my own shelter to keep dogs off the streets & give them all a second chance at life. I currently have a 3 year old Keeshond male (neutered) who i have raised since a puppy. I have trained him myself & am currently studying different ways of training dogs. I also have experience with senior dogs. I watch a 15 year old husky regularly. I currently work in a restaurant so i go into work later in the day. my boyfriend & i work opposite days so your fur baby will never be alone if you are boarding with me. i do not accept boarding on days i cannot give your pet my full attention. my schedule for walking & drop in visits is very flexible. i also understand that life happens so any last minute cancellations are 100% okay! As previously stated i have a 7 year old pup to keep your babies company! he loves people & animals! we go for walks around the neighborhood & often go to the dog park. This can absolutely be an option for your dog as well as long as they are up to date & do well with others! in my home i also have a cat & a chinchilla. my cat is very easy going & my chinchilla will always be in the cage while your pet is in my home.
About: IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW BEFORE REQUESTING SERVICES: I work full-time from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday, and occasional weekend days/one federal holiday per calendar year. I have always been, and will always be an animal person. I have 3 dogs of my own currently: Lincoln (12 year old chihuahua), Ripley (4 year old mixed breed), and Tots (5 year old mixed breed); I also have a bunny named Bonsai (10 years old)! I have spent many years dedicated to the happiness and well-being of dogs of all ages ranging from 5 pounds to 150 pounds. I’ve socialized dogs for many years and can pick up on their cues of how they’re feeling, whether it be happy, anxious, or fearful. I’m well versed in medication administration as well, whether it be orally or topically given. I’ve prepped food that ranged from standard kibble to entirely raw. I’m also no stranger to cleaning up if a dog has an accident. I know how it is to worry when you’re away from your furry companions and that is why I uphold myself to high standards to make sure all animals are safe and well cared for while you’re away. I’m currently working full-time and am diligent about making sure my schedule is up to date as I like to stay organized and plan ahead. I work from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and occasional weekend days/holidays. I have a fenced in yard. I have crates available in house if your dog is crate trained, whether it be for eating, sleeping, or general comfort/decompression. I have extra leads to make sure each dog is being walked safely. If your dog is on a retractable leash, I will make the call to use either a standard leash or British lead. It ensures the safety of both your companion and my own when on walks.
“MariJeimi and David did an amazing job watching our Peanut and Hershey - you can tell they truly love and care for animals. They gave us great peace of mind while away with frequent updates/photos on how they were doing. They truly went the extra mile to make sure our pups felt welcome. Both our babies looked like they felt right at home with them and were treated fantastic! It's tough finding the right people to trust with your fur babies but if you've been lucky enough to land on this profile you have to look no further. We definitely will be using them again in the future and are so thankful we found them to care for our pups.”

“Jahada is just wonderful! She treats my dog like one of her own. I always know he’s in good hands while he’s in her care. I highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Jennifer is such a kind, responsible, and loving pet sitter! Our pup, Arlo, loved every second he spent with her and her wonderful dog, Myrtle. Jennifer was able to take Arlo on last minute request. She met him prior to his stay to ensure he would settle in comfortably. She shared daily photos and updates, for which we were so appreciative while away! Jennifer took Arlo in the car, on hikes, and treated him as her own. We could not have asked for better care.”

“Jennifer and Jon were fantastic!! Our 8 month old King Charles Spaniel was taken care of and treated like family. We were sent pictures and videos throughout the weekend and were kept updated about Maisy’s activities. It was wonderful to go away for the weekend and have no worries that our puppy was in great hands. We will definitely have our precious puppy stay with them again!! We give Jennifer and Jon our highest recommendation without reservation!!”
“Amber was fantastic. She was sympathetic to my worry over my first time leaving Bean. She was thoughtful, taking time each day to send me photos and videos with updates on how he was doing. She updated me at least twice a day while taking care of other dogs, her own animals, her business, and her family. She went above and beyond. When we arrived home and unpacked his bag, she had taken the time to handcraft an ornament with his name. This will be Bean's first Christmas and she gave us his first ornament. We suffered the loss of both of our beloved dogs, Cappy and Blue within less than 3 months less than a year ago. One from old age and one from cancer. We have been so careful and diligent with our new rescue Bean. She knew this and accommodated our paranoia with compassion and understanding. Bean is our little wild child and she took care of him as her own. We highly recommend her and value her as our sitter. It eases our minds knowing that he has a place to go if we need to get away for a day, or go on vacay without our little buddy.”

“Patricia and Paul are excellent dog sitters. They kept me up to date, sent pictures and made me feel comfortable in leaving my baby with them. I highly recommend them to anyone. I am extremely pleased with my experience with Patricia, Paul and Rover.com. It was my first time, but not my last, to use their services. Thank you for the high quality service given to your clients!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Scranton
We first used Bryan for daytime care for our 4.5-mo puppy, and since that went well we did an overnight. Both were great! Our puppy likes him and it's clearly a positive environment. Bryan sent photos throughout our puppy's stay and made sure that she was comfortable and exercised. Thanks again, Bryan!

If I could give more than five stars, I would—honestly, this was one of the most above-and-beyond experiences we’ve ever had with any service, not just dog sitting. From the very beginning, she was kind, communicative, and incredibly professional—but what truly blew us away was everything that happened *after* we booked her for what was supposed to be just a single day. Due to unexpected circumstances on our end, that one day turned into three… and she handled it with nothing but grace, flexibility, and genuine care. Not once did she make us feel like it was an inconvenience. In fact, she reassured us the entire time and treated our dog like her own. She kept us updated regularly with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. You could tell our dog was not only well cared for, but truly happy and comfortable. It’s rare to find someone who connects so naturally with animals, but she absolutely does. And then—when we thought we couldn’t possibly be more impressed—she somehow raised the bar even higher. She went out of her way to return our dog to us, taking not one but TWO Ubers to make sure everything worked out smoothly. Who does that?! That level of dedication, effort, and positivity is almost unheard of. The entire time, she maintained the most amazing attitude—warm, patient, and completely unbothered—when most people would understandably be stressed or frustrated. It’s hard to put into words just how grateful we are. She didn’t just “watch our dog”—she showed kindness, flexibility, and a level of commitment that genuinely meant a lot to us during a stressful situation. If you are even *considering* booking with her, do it immediately. She is reliable, compassionate, communicative, and truly goes the extra mile (literally and figuratively). We would trust her again in a heartbeat and will absolutely be booking with her in the future. Thank you again for everything—you are truly one of a kind!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
