“Alannah was a terrific cat sitter - attentive, communicative, and caring to our pets! I appreciated her accommodating a somewhat last minute request and I came home to some happy cats :)”

“Mary did a great job checking in our cats while we were away! Our cats are very shy, and she took the time to find them and take a pic for us to make sure they were ok. By the end she had them coming out to see her during the visit. Would highly recommend!”

“Megan was great with Lennox during drop-ins while I was away from home for a full day. She let him out, sat with him inside and on the back deck, gave him treats and kept him well-fed and happy. Her definitely seemed to have had a joyful day and Megan was reliable, courteous and very responsive with communications before, during and after her visits. I plan to utilize her expertise again soon.”

“Olivia was an amazing sitter. She took time to introduce herself to Sophie, our Jack Russell. All of the directions we had on our list were followed to a “T”. Sophie warmed up to Olivia and played, too. I would highly recommend Olivia -she is punctual and sent photos and updates with each drop in. All in all she did a great job.”

“Kacey was great! Even though we had to come home early, she hung out with the pups while we got settled. We got to observe the pups with her and saw how much they enjoyed her company. We’ve already planned another visit with her soon.”

About: I’m new to Rover but have always loved animals! I’ve helped care for family pets by feeding them, taking them on walks, and giving them attention and love. Even though I don’t have professional experience yet, I’m super responsible, gentle, and quick to learn. I’m calm and patient, and I always pay close attention to your pet’s needs. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, treat your pet like my own, and keep you updated so you feel at ease. I work a part-time job, but I’m available on weekdays in the mornings and afternoons. I’m reliable, flexible, and always happy to spend time with your pet—making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow all instructions closely and keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I respect your space, stay tidy, and give your pet my full attention while I’m there. Safety is always a priority—whether that means double-checking doors, using leashes properly, or making sure they’re never left unsupervised. I want both you and your pet to feel completely safe and cared for!
“Thank you so much Freya! You were amazing with our kittens, cats and puppy! I would highly recommend Freya to any pet owners. Thanks for the pictures throughout the weekend!! :)”
About: I have learned a lot from our one dog especially over the years. I attended trainings for him to help him and he is thriving today. I have also done dog walking with wag for a year. I may be able to do some services after 4pm during the week. I am available mostly every weekend for services. It all depends on the service needed. I won't be offering services in my own home since our one dog suffers with anxiety. I will follow the rules with whatever the client is saying. I will ensure a safe and loving environment for your babies.
About: I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own that I care for daily. I also care for my friends pets often and am excited to meet your pets and provide them the best care that they deserve. I am available all day on weekends and in the evenings every day. Some week days I am available more often. I am also available for overnights stays. I have a fenced in yard so would be able to have your pets in my home with no concern of them running off or anything like that. If I am caring for your pets in your home I will treat your home like my own, providing the best care.

About: I have been researching animals and animal care since I was able to read, I was always at the library as a kid! I worked as a dog trainer at PetSmart for two years (worked with the company for three years total!) and have met and worked with a variety of breeds. I volunteered at a dog shelter all throughout highschool as well. I have had many animals of my own and have even fostered orphaned kittens and puppies in the past! Working with animals gives me a purpose I cannot find anywhere else :) I work half remotely so I have plenty of open availability, let me know what works best with you! I'm always willing to make accommodations. When watching your pets at your home I would likely ask many questions regarding you/your pets routine so I can make things as comfortable for your pet as possible! I would never leave the pet unattended unless directed otherwise! I have experience handling large, strong breeds of dogs and have no doubt in my capabilities to keep your pet safe and comfortable.

“There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe Joanne. She is extremely wonderful, compassionate, and truly the best of the best! Her love for all furbabies is outstanding. Our Nala is a "skittish cat" to begin with and hides all the time so we told Joanne you probably won't see her but we really do have a cat ?. She took the time to sing to her, look for her and truly cared for her every need. She sent us her report every day with a picture of food dishes, a fake cat pillow and finally she caught her. Through her wit and " shenanigans" lol she was able to get a picture of Nala. We laughed for hours and it made us feel so at ease and we knew Nala had met her match. I highly recommend Joanne and as I said before... She is the best of the best!”

“I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Victoria! This was the first I left me cats for an extended period (16 days) and the first I used Rover. Victoria was incredible to deal with and took great care of my 2 cats. Each day she spent time playing, feeding and cleaning up after them and also sent me 8-10 pics each day! Knowing she was caring foe my girls allowed be to enjoy the trip of a lifetime. I am so thankful I found her!”

“Gabriela is amazing! She is so attentive with my senior dog, making sure that she addresses his special needs with the upmost care. She also make sure to spend time grooming the cats, cleaning litter boxes out and loving on them. She is the best!”
“Kendra was able come take care of my two cats after I had to schedule a very last-minute drop in. She was very communicative and did a wonderful job taking care of them. I’m super grateful to have been able to book her!”

I do have some puppy training experience as well as working breed care/handling. My farm animal expertise is limited but I am confident I can learn and apply my current skills towards caring for you pets. I am a full time student and work part time as well, so my days can get a little hectic. Rest assured, my furry friends are always given every moment of my free time! I love caring for animals and being surrounded by them, so I always make a conscious effort to be with them as much as possible. Of course your furry friends will recieve that too! I always come alone, you can always be assured I have your pets' happiness and safety in mind. I do not currently have space to board any animals. I also don't mind doing house chores as needed especially plant care, yard cleaning, poop scooping, etc. Just let me know!!

About: Hi, I’m Tamera! I run Happy Howls Daycare and Walkies, where I bring over 11 years of professional pet care experience to every visit. One of my favorite aspects of this work is puppy care and foundational training. I understand the patience and consistency required for young dogs—from reinforcing potty schedules to working on basic leash manners and socialization. Whether you have a high-energy pup or a senior dog who needs a gentle pace, I tailor my care to their specific life stage. You’ll notice my last Rover review was in 2017; since then, I have been operating as a self-employed pet care provider for private clients. I’m returning to Rover now to meet new families and share my decade-plus of expertise with your furry friends. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and dedicated to making sure every "howl" is a happy one! I myself have 2 cats and 1 dog. I currently reside with my mother in a 4 bedroom house. My mother owns 5 cats, 1 small dog, and a ferret. All are friendly. Keep in mind if youd want care in my home. :) As a professional pet care provider, my daily and weekly schedule is designed entirely around the needs of my furry clients. Because I manage Happy Howls Daycare and Walkies as my primary focus, I am able to offer a high level of flexibility and dedicated attention that fits into a structured routine: Morning Energy (7:00 AM – 10:00 AM): My day starts early with morning 'potty breaks' and active walks. This is the prime time for puppies who are working on their training and need consistent outdoor reinforcement first thing in the morning. Mid-Day Adventures (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM): This block is dedicated to my core walking routes and daycare guests. I schedule midday visits to ensure dogs get their much-needed exercise and socialization while their owners are at work. Afternoon Wind-Down (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM): I focus on late-afternoon walks and feeding schedules. For daycare pups, this is a time for calm play and getting them ready for their evening transition back home. Seven-Day Availability: While my busiest days are Monday through Friday, I am also available for weekend 'walkies' and daycare by request. This ensures that whether it’s a standard work week or a busy weekend, your pet has a consistent and familiar face to look forward to. Throughout the day, I maintain a very organized schedule. I make sure to leave plenty of time between visits so I am never rushed, allowing me to give each dog my full attention, work on training cues, and send plenty of photo updates to you. When your pet stays with me, my home becomes their second home. I focus on creating a calm, structured environment where they can feel secure while you’re away." Safety First: I maintain a 'paws-on-the-floor' policy for greetings to keep excitement levels manageable, especially for puppies in training. My home is fully pet-proofed to ensure a hazard-free stay. Routine & Structure: I mirror your dog's home routine as closely as possible—including specific feeding times, nap schedules, and any 'house rules' you have in place. Supervised Socialization: If multiple dogs are present, interactions are always 100% supervised. I use my experience to read body language and ensure every pup feels comfortable and respected. Cleanliness: I maintain high sanitation standards to keep everyone healthy and happy. In Your Home: Walkies & Drop-Ins "My goal for home visits is to provide high-quality care while leaving your home exactly as I found it—with the addition of a very happy dog!" Secure Entry & Exit: I am extremely diligent with home security. I double-check that all doors and gates are locked and that security systems are reset upon my departure. The Walk Experience: Safety is my priority on 'walkies.' I use sturdy leashes, avoid high-traffic or 'unpredictable' areas, and keep a close eye on the pavement temperature and weather conditions. Puppy/Senior Care: For clients at your home, I customize the visit. For puppies, this includes cleaning any accidents and reinforcing potty training; for seniors, it may involve gentle mobility assistance or administering medication. Detailed Check-ins: You will receive a Rover card after every visit with a summary of the walk, 'business' handled, and a few high-quality photos of your pet’s adventures.
