About: I’m new to Rover but have always loved animals! I’ve helped care for family pets by feeding them, taking them on walks, and giving them attention and love. Even though I don’t have professional experience yet, I’m super responsible, gentle, and quick to learn. I’m calm and patient, and I always pay close attention to your pet’s needs. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, treat your pet like my own, and keep you updated so you feel at ease. I work a part-time job, but I’m available on weekdays in the mornings and afternoons. I’m reliable, flexible, and always happy to spend time with your pet—making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow all instructions closely and keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I respect your space, stay tidy, and give your pet my full attention while I’m there. Safety is always a priority—whether that means double-checking doors, using leashes properly, or making sure they’re never left unsupervised. I want both you and your pet to feel completely safe and cared for!
“Veronica is the kindest, sweetest person on earth 🌎. At first, she kindly rub my furry baby head with gentle touch. My baby instantly feels the positive energy and shake his little tail. Seems like they know when they are in good hands 🙌 Veronica is one of the best dog trainer.”

About: *I also also available in the Tunkhannock area* As a graduate student, I enjoy pet/house sitting knowing that I can provide peace of mind that things will be properly taken care of while you're away! I have repeat experience with 6 families where I took care of their cats, dogs, gardens, plants, and home. If we work together, you will see that I am attentive, responsible, and trustworthy. I have a flexible schedule and would enjoy carving out to spend with your pet! Because I’m a student, I have time throughout my day to go for walks, play, or spend quality time with your pets! I typically drop in to your house 2-3 times a day (depending on your needs) where I spend multiple hours a day with your pets including walks or time outside. I will leave your home like I found it and am open to doing extra tasks if discussed to help out!

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience with animals and the genuine love and patience I bring to every pet I care for. I have been around animals my entire life, so I understand that every pet has their own personality, needs, and routine. I also have experience caring for senior dogs. My own dog has since passed away, but I helped care for him throughout his later years, which taught me the importance of patience, attentiveness, and providing extra comfort and support. Because of this experience, I am comfortable giving medications, helping pets stick to their routines, and making sure they feel safe and loved while their owners are away. When caring for pets, I make sure they get plenty of exercise, playtime, attention, and affection. Whether that means going on walks, playing fetch, providing activities, sticking to feeding schedules, or simply spending quality time cuddling and keeping them company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure both pets and their owners feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. Since I am currently a college student and school is out, I have a lot of free time and a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of attention to the pets in my care. I also work as a babysitter, but Rover is my top priority job. I make sure to schedule my time carefully so that every pet receives the care, attention, exercise, and companionship they need. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning up after them, or simply spending quality time together, I am committed to providing reliable and attentive care. Because of my flexible availability, I can easily accommodate different routines and help pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I currently have three cats who, despite not paying rent, are very well taken care of! Caring for them is a big part of my daily routine. I make sure they receive their daily feedings, fresh water, interactive playtime, plenty of attention, and daily litter box cleanings to keep their environment clean and comfortable. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines as closely as possible so their pets feel safe and comfortable. This includes feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, playtime, administering medications if needed, and providing lots of love and companionship. I understand that every pet has unique needs and personalities, so I take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel cared for while their owners are away. My goal is always to provide dependable care, maintain a clean environment, and treat every pet as if they were my own.

Working with animals gives me a purpose I cannot find anywhere else :) I work half remotely so I have plenty of open availability, let me know what works best with you! About: I have grown up around dogs and cats my whole life. I took care of my childhood dog from a puppy through senior stages, and have dog sat a variety of pets from extra large puppies to small, 15+ year old dogs - at the same time! I am used to boarding and taking care of pets at their own homes, but I would also be able to have pets at my home! I am currently in medical school but only have class on Tuesday-Friday. Otherwise, I’m at home studying and can take breaks to care for pets! I am very flexible depending on the individual pet's preference! I live a rather active lifestyle and enjoy going on runs and hikes in my free time, and would be happy to take a pet with me, or spend time playing with pets in my yard. However, I am also happy to spend time sitting with pets who are less active inside, and still giving them the attention that they deserve. I dont mind pets on furniture or sleeping in bed with me if thats what they are comfortable with.
“Aubriana was really great with my dog. Aside from walking, he takes meds twice a day and she was able to do that for him as well. He has a lot of energy during the first 15-20 mins of his walk and she was able to handle him just fine. She also kept me posted on when she arrived/walked/left. I would use her again.”

About: I have taken care of many different kinds of pets from a very young age. I grew up taking care of the many dogs, both big and small, in my house. My family used to breed English bulldogs, so I am capable of looking after puppies as well as older dogs. We now have 2 dogs and a pig that I help look after. I am currently a full-time student and student-athlete. This being said during the day I do have a couple of hours of classes/ practice. Obviously, I would be with pets any chance I can get before, after, and between classes as much as possible. I have been pet sitting for my neighbors and friends for years, so I am familiar/comfortable with all different kinds of dog breeds and their specific needs as well as other animals.

“Toni is awesome. On our first meet you would tell how caring she was and patient. We have a senior dog who needs special care and right away we knew Toni was the perfect fit. Our old lady is very receptive to her and Toni has gone above and beyond to give her the time and attention she needs.”

About: I grew up with dogs, my whole life. I’ve had everything from a mini schnauzer/dachshund mix to a German Shepherd/Chinese Chow mix. I have dog-sat for relatives and friends, from a few hours to a few weeks, including puppies in training and elderly dogs. I love going on walks and would love to bring your special pet with me. I have a very flexible schedule. I am free after 11 every day except for Sunday. With notice I can be available before 11. I generally don’t go on walks after dark but will do stop in visits after dark. I don’t have any dogs myself. My husband is allergic so we cannot have pets at my house. I would love to have some puppy snuggles at your house or on a walk. If your dog is a happy to be outside dog, we have a covered front porch and a backyard with a fence where we can have dogs come to our house.

Dunmore dog parents share their Rover experiences
Given short notice, Veronica jumped into action and did an excellent job taking my energetic standard poodle puppy on walks throughout the day. It’s never easy to trust someone into your home and to care for man’s best friend, but Veronica did great and always stayed professional. Despite issues with her phone, she communicated early and often, letting me know how my dog was doing. Thanks Veronica, hope you consider walking Mufasa again.
