About: I live along the walking trail between Clarks Summit and Dalton and enjoy walking daily. I currently have one cat and have had four dogs over the past years. I love animals – their personalities, enthusiasm, and the simple joy they find in life. I currently have two grand dogs that I love spending time with. Dogs have their own personalities, some are mellow and want to walk at a leisurely pace, others have boundless energy and want to race to the finish. I can accommodate both extremes and anything in between. This is their time for recreation. I live along the walking trail between Clarks Summit and Dalton and enjoy walking daily. About: Hello! My name is Baylor, and I've been surrounded by animals my entire life, growing up with both dogs and cats. For the past four years, I've worked as a veterinary technician, giving me extensive experience caring for animals and ensuring they stay happy, healthy, and safe. My veterinary background allows me to confidently administer medications, recognize changes in behavior, and provide attentive care for pets with special needs. In addition to my clinical experience, I've been pet sitting for many of my veterinary clients over the past few years. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I am currently taking care of pets as my full-time job, allowing me to be very available and have widespread flexibility to fit your scheduling needs. I am able to care for your dog or cat in whichever way feels most comfortable for you, whether that is a puppy who needs training, walks, and crated time, or a senior cat that requires more frequent, attentive visits and a strict schedule of medication. Given my background, I am also happy to provide additional services such as baths, nail trimmings, and gland expressions when necessary.
“Veronica is the kindest, sweetest person on earth 🌎. At first, she kindly rub my furry baby head with gentle touch. My baby instantly feels the positive energy and shake his little tail. Seems like they know when they are in good hands 🙌 Veronica is one of the best dog trainer.”

About: Hey, I'm Kelly! I've dog-sat for friends over the years for various lengths of time, getting to know many different breeds and their unique personalities. If you're looking for a reliable, experienced, and fun-loving dog sitter, I'm your person. Can't wait to meet you and your furry friend! I work from home, which means plenty of time to hang with dogs. Whether it's walk time, feed time, or just chill time, I've got it covered. Love having a furry friend around to make the workday better. I've got a great setup at home for dogs – a fenced backyard for them to run around in and tons of toys for playtime. Your dog will have the freedom to explore and play in a secure environment, and I'll always be there to keep an eye on them. So, while you're away, they'll be having their own little fun-filled vacation at my place.

About: I've been a dog owner for my entire life! Growing up, my family always had dogs. It was always my responsibility to feed them, take them outside, and make sure they got plenty of exercise! Shortly after graduating college, my husband and I adopted our sweet boy Cody in December of 2020. He was a 1 year old (very well behaved) rescue when we first got him, and he has fit perfectly into our family since day one. We were living in an apartment at the time, so he required frequent walks and trips to the dog park. This helped him become very used to playing with dogs and humans of all sizes! In August of 2021 shortly after moving into our new home in Jacksonville, we decided there was room in our family for one more! We adopted our girl Pepper at 7 weeks old. She is a little ball of energy, but has grown into the sweetest little pup. Her and Cody love to play and run around in the back yard, but they are often content with laying on the couch for a nap or chewing on their favorite toys. Adopting Cody as an adult dog and Pepper as a tiny puppy has helped us learn how to care for and train dogs of all ages. We utilize positive reinforcement with lots of rewards for good behavior to not only train our dogs, but also to maintain a strong and trusting relationship! I work from home full-time, so I will be able to care for your pet 24/7! Pepper requires frequent potty breaks due to her age, so the dogs typically go out every 1-2 hours. If we leave the house on weekends, we never do so for longer than 4-5 hours. If your puppy loves play and attention, we would be a perfect fit for him or her! Both of my dogs love to run and play both inside and outside. We have plenty of toys to share, and a large fenced yard for play. Pepper naps in her crate throughout the day and sleeps in there overnight, but Cody does not have a crate. If your pup is crate trained, I would be more than happy to keep up that routine!
“Hailey has been walking our dog daily for months and she has been consistently on time, flexible and extremely nice and helpful! Our dog loves her and gets so excited every time she comes to our door. We definitely highly recommend her and we will continue to use her in the future!”
About: As a proud dog mom of two, I know firsthand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets. I treat every dog like family—with patience, love, and attention to their unique needs. Both of my dogs take daily medications, so I'm very comfortable giving pills, liquids, or supplements and making sure each dose is given on time. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, including energetic puppies and sweet seniors who need a little extra TLC. Whether it’s playtime, walks, meds, or just snuggles, I provide dependable, compassionate care that gives both you and your dog peace of mind. I work full time from home, so I’m able to provide consistent care, attention, and potty breaks throughout the day. Your dog won’t be left alone for long periods, and I can easily stick to their usual routine. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor play and potty breaks. Inside, I can crate if needed or separate dogs using our finished basement to give everyone their own space. I closely supervise all interactions and always follow your pet’s routine and preferences to ensure they feel safe and at ease.
“Aubriana was really great with my dog. Aside from walking, he takes meds twice a day and she was able to do that for him as well. He has a lot of energy during the first 15-20 mins of his walk and she was able to handle him just fine. She also kept me posted on when she arrived/walked/left. I would use her again.”

“Toni is awesome. On our first meet you would tell how caring she was and patient. We have a senior dog who needs special care and right away we knew Toni was the perfect fit. Our old lady is very receptive to her and Toni has gone above and beyond to give her the time and attention she needs.”

About: Lucy! Is my dog and I’ve taken care of her since she was a pup living full time at home. We became the best of friends after questioning whether our family should have even gotten her! I have experience with training, walking, routine, and I am the main person that takes care of her. I have awareness of proper leash and feeding routines and would pay close attentions to your puppy’s needs as I would my own. I currently have open availability I can do housesitting and am friendly with cats. I would have availability during the day for walking/checking in on your friendly friend; and also offer overnight services. I can easily crate your dog as needed. I keep my place extra clean so the work I put into that would flow into my care as well! Frequent walks to the park and locally

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
