“I work from home so I rarely leave my dogs, but my son graduated high school and wanted to take a trip. That’s when I found Samantha! At her meet and greet, my dogs welcomed her inside and almost immediately laid at her feet. She has such a calm, peaceful presence about her that even being around her made me feel more comfortable about leaving the dogs. While we were gone, I received multiple pictures, messages, updates throughout the day letting me know how they were and putting my mind at ease to really enjoy the moments I was sharing with my family. I will 100% be booking Samantha again and encourage anyone looking for a sitter to reach out to her!”

“Izzy picked up our request for a sitter at the last minute after another sitter cancelled. She took excellent care of our dog Wrigley and we had no complaints. She communicated with us and sent pictures as requested. Definitely recommend her.”

“Kayla housesat my two dogs and did a FABULOUS job. My one dog who is a bit shy took to her immediately, which is quite special. Kayla was communicative, shared tons of photos, and was able to take care of our diabetic dog which requires glucose testing and insulin injections. Thank you for your excellent care, Kayla!!!”

“We had a great experience with Rachel! She came to our hotel and stayed with our Luca, for about four hours while we were out. She walked him, kept him hydrated, and made sure he was entertained the entire time. She was so sweet and gentle with him—truly wonderful. It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Emma was wonderful! I felt reassured my 2 dogs were in good hands. She took great care of them and will definitely call on her again for dog sitting! Thank you for making my vacation carefree by not having to worry about my girls! Thank you very much!”

“We were looking for someone to not only treat our pets as their own but someone we could trust and feel comfortable having them house set with our pets. We were fortunate enough to find that in Wendy. She’s thoughtful, conscientious, and friendly. She took good care of our pets and provided updates throughout the week. She gets 5 stars from us. We will definitely use her again.”

“Amelie truly came in clutch when another dog sitter canceled 5 days before my trip. I couldn't have asked for a better person! She was amazing with my HUGE grumpy older dog and my HYPER younger 2 year old...and did I mention they are Rotties?!! She was amazing from start to finish. This is truly the first time I came home from a trip and the dogs seemed well loved and taken care of, no anxiety from them at all. Thanks, Amelie! Rover friends, look no further and book her now...just not when I need her ; )”

“Madison is a wonderful house sitter. We found her when our normal house sitter canceled on us at the last minute. She took such great care of our animals (3 cats, 2 dogs) and our home while we were away. She also did a great job with our chickens and watered the garden when the weather was very dry. Madison was very respectful of our home and kept it very clean. I highly recommend her services.”

“Anele is a great pet and house sitter. I appreciated that she reached out to schedule meeting both my cat and me beforehand. Allowed everyone to get to know each other. She’s very conscientious of following instructions and timeframes. Very responsible and reliable managing pet care and house. Will definitely be using her pet sitting services again.”

About: I previously used Rover before when I lived in New York. I've boarded many different breeds as well as a Tortoise and the occasional cat! My experience varies as I've had pets all through my life. After my pug passed away I had to take a break from Rover but I'm back and I'm ready to develop new relationships with your pet as well as with you as the owner! I do require meet and greets before hand so it's a smoother transition for your pet! Like I said before I've boarded so many different breeds from a tiny puppy Maltese that I would babysit weekly to a big teddy bear of a pit we would board when his owners went on vacation. My son is very good with all animals and loves cuddles. We look forward to hearing from you and we can't wait to meet you and your precious furbabies 🥹 Quick disclaimer!!! For 50lb + dogs they have to be somewhat leash trained in still a girl with minimal arm strength and I'd like the walk to be enjoyable for both of us! I work from home so frequent walks and love is a MUST! If there was a time I would need to leave, just know it will only be a store run nothing longer than an hour. We are homebodies I'm very receptive to how an owner trains their pets or any routine you may have for your pet. Just let me know your pets needs. I can offer some like grooming services if needed. I can also administer medication as I have experience dealing with senior dogs as well.

“We went away for a week and used Emily to watch our two dogs. She stayed in our home with them and sent photos and videos throughout the duration of her stay. The dogs seemed to enjoy their time with her, she played frisbee with the young one and equally shared pet and cuddling time with them both! Will be using her again in the future. Thanks Emily!”

About: I have always cared and taken care of neighbours and family friends dogs, which then lead to working at greenlin pet resort! I am very knowledgeable on body language and dog behaviours along with having great patience towards new pups and older pups. I also have an amazing attention span and lots of energy to walk and play with your dogs! Apart from caring for my own fur pup, on off days I’m available mornings-evenings. Also allowing time for pet care, evenings of my work days! Depending on the vibe and mood of your pet, I work around them! Only endorsing healthy and fun behaviour. I let them decide what is too much and just enough (walks, playing, rubs, tricks, etc).

“Mikayla was just what my dog needed! He has anxiety and some medical issues, and she handled it all. He loved her and can't wait to have her house sit again! Plus I got plenty of pictures and updates while I was away.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 14; I’ve trained and cared for my golden as well as the four cats in my household. I’ve also started taking on strays! I work full time over the week and I am more than capable making any stops from work or even filling up my weekends taking care of your pet. I am very flexible with instructions if need be. I’ll take care of your dogs or cats with care and diligence. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I have a wonderful neighborhood that I can walk your pet in.
