“We recently moved and were nervous about leaving our cat and bearded dragon but Jamie did a great job of keeping us updated and sending pics. Traveling can be stressful as is and she gave us peace of mind that our babies were well taken care of. Will definitely book with her again :)”

“Margaret was very kind and attuned with my 2 corgis. They absolutely loved her and would cry around the time she’d arrive because they were so excited to go on a walk with her. Will definitely be using Margaret’s services again!!”

“Alison and Robert did a wonderful job pet sitting my five kitties. They are definitely pet people- my kitties felt comfortable around them right away. They were incredibly thorough, followed all of our specific instructions, and were able to successfully give my cat her heart failure medication too. I highly recommend Alison and Robert and will definitely use their services again in the future!”

“As usual, Cori was amazing. Previously, our cats would have been freaked out by the time we returned from a trip. Whenever Cori takes care of Bob and Alice, when we return they kind of look at us with a look that says, "why did you come back? We were perfectly happy playing toys with Corey." While we're really jealous of her relationship with B and A, we're always comfortable with the care they get when we leave them in Cori's capable and caring hands. And the photo updates are always a welcome treat. Thanks Cori!”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 8-9 years old, taught proper care and handling as well as respect for all. I have experience giving medicine regularly and as needed, bathing and brushing, assessing comfort levels and giving good ol’fashion belly rubs. I am familiar with strict meal plans and the importance of keeping up their established routines. I follow your furry friends lead, never forcing unwanted attention and respecting their boundaries. I currently work part-time and have plenty of time to help watch your lovable puppers and cats! I am available 6AM-1PM everyday with my afternoon/evening availability changing weekly, only requiring a few days notice to work out our game plan. I am currently available for in-home visits and walks, and am fully capable of running around with your dog when needed! I respect all house rules and keep clients updated upon arrival and when I’m departing.

About: My journey in animal care began in 2017 as a kennel technician, and over the past 8 years, I’ve grown into a skilled veterinary assistant with extensive experience caring for dogs, cats and exotic pets of all breeds and temperaments. When I go home, I hug my 2 cats and 2 dogs after a long days work. I also have owned a hedgehog who is now in heaven, and I had the pleasure of growing with and caring for my childhood dog who is also in heaven with my hedgie. From daily walks and enrichment to assisting in exams and treatments, I’ve had the privilege of supporting our furry friends through every stage of life. I’m trained in administering medications—whether it’s a pill, injection, or special diet—and I always prioritize comfort, safety, and trust. Whether your fur baby is playful, shy, or needs a little extra TLC, I bring patience, experience, and a whole lot of love to every visit. I work weekdays 7a-3p, so I am available M-F after 3-3:30p. Saturdays and Sundays I am usually away. I can answer any questions on availability and openings for walks and drop ins! I fully acknowledge that I am entering into your home and that alone is the biggest reason I go above and beyond on building trust with you and fur babies. Safety is my highest priority — I want everyone to feel safe before I ever step foot into your home. I require a meet and greet to start the process; this is to make sure your pet(s) get familiarized with my presence, then I assess compatibility after 1-2 bookings. If I’m concerned about temperament, we will next steps and gauge whether or not we can move forward with future bookings. There are times when pets display signs of stress or protective/territorial behaviors when a stranger enters their home, especially if it’s for the first time. While I’m comfortable caring for an array of temperaments, the last thing I want is your pet to be stressed and unhappy. I am transparent about this process upfront as I prioritize safety for all parties. Upon meeting you and your pet for the first time, I will ask you (many) questions and write all information provided down and go over everything with you before ending the meet and greet session. This will include questions regarding specialized care, diet, temperament, etc. I will also ask for an emergency contact and veterinarian information in the case there is an emergency while you’re not home. For all of my services I make sure to accurately follow all instructions provided with consistent text and picture updates. I NEVER touch anything in your home besides pet-related items disclosed at our meet and greet unless I have permission. After services are completed, I refill all food/water bowls, put back all pet related items such as food and toys where they belong, tidy up if permitted, and give your pets some extra TLC before leaving!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs my entire life. I have experience with puppies, energetic dogs, and elderly dogs. I love to spend my free time outside with my own dog, helping him get more exercise! I am eager to expand my dog experience and to bond with more animals. I’m currently working part time so I’ll have open availability to watch your dogs! I am able to be flexible to find times to walk or take your pup for a potty break! If you require a longer stay, I just need to know at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure my schedule will align. I currently have a Catahoula Leopord Dog, he requires a lot of attention and outdoor time. He has a hard time sharing his space, so I would have to board at the clients home. While visiting at the clients home, I will ensure the pup receives plenty of exercise, cuddles, and as many potty breaks it needs! I have my own transportation so it’s not a problem to commute.

About: I've never been without a pet--my family has had Labs and Goldens since before I was born, so I was raised taking care of and training dogs of all ages and personalities. I understand how important it is to find a trustworthy person to look after your pet, so please don't hesitate to ask me anything that will help you and your fur babies feel more comfortable :) I work part-time 3 days a week, so I have plenty of spare time to visit and walk your pets! My schedule is flexible, so if you ever need to make an adjustment, just let me know! I've taken care of pets with a wide range of personalities, so I understand that different pets need different types of care. You know what's best for your pet, so let me know how you do things and I will do my best to keep things consistent, familiar, and comfortable for your dogs!

“Sarah took great care of our cat, Sophie. Our cat is very social and sometimes has anxiety when she is alone. We were so grateful that Sarah gave her some extra TLC and sent us daily pictures and updates. Sophie was content and safe! We would definitely book again!”

About: I’m new to Rover but not to dogs! I have worked in a veterinary kennel, a daycare/boarding center, completed a PennVet summer program, and volunteered at the SPCA for years. Let me walk your doggies! I love them all. I am free daily until late August, barring my 5-8 pm tutoring shifts, a few weekly appointments, and random engagements. I have lots of energy in the morning so I can do early morning walks if needed. I am very respectful and caring towards others’ animals, spaces and belongings, and would love the opportunity to take care of your pet in your home so that both of you have the least anxiety possible.

About: have extensive experience in pet care, having had many pets over the years. My journey includes rescuing, fostering, and rehoming animals, which has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of animal behavior and care needs. Throughout my experience, I've worked alongside trainers, learning valuable skills to help animals thrive. I pride myself on my patience, compassion, and unwavering love for animals, which I believe are essential qualities for providing the best care possible. My hands-on experience with a variety of pets has given me the ability to assess individual needs and provide the right support to ensure their health, happiness, and well-being. While I work full-time frok home Monday through Friday,my schedule is flexible and my love and commitment to animals are a central part of my daily routine. I make sure to devote my evenings and weekends to providing the care and attention that animals deserve. My special bond with animals allows me to connect with them on a deeper level, ensuring they receive the emotional and physical support they need. I understand how important pets are to their owners, and I treat each pet with the utmost care, creating a safe, loving environment where they can thrive. Whether it’s through walks, playtime, or simply being present, I appreciate the opportunity to spend my free time helping animals feel loved and secure. I have years of experience offering in-home pet care, which allows me to create a safe and comfortable environment for each pet in the comfort of their own home. As someone who lives downtown, I’m well-positioned to serve professionals who need reliable care for their pets while they’re away. Although I’m unable to care for animals in my own space, I pride myself on being a trusted, dependable option for those in need.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, including feeding, providing fresh water, and ensuring they get regular exercise through walks. I have looked after my friends dog on multiple occasions, taking responsibility for their daily needs and giving them plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I’m actively looking to walk dogs as I enjoy walking them during the evening time. I’m a teacher so during school year, lm available 3 pm and onwards I am only offering dog walking service since I live in an apartment, it will be very difficult to take care of the dog here.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life! Being a dog owner a few times in the past has given me a lot of experience with providing the best care. It’s all about patience, being able to read their own needs, and knowing what toys and treats work best! I also have pets with special needs at home so I am skilled in administering medications orally, topically, and via subcutaneous injections. I’m clean, polite, professional, and respect boundaries of both my 2 and 4-legged clients. I have a pretty flexible schedule because I am self-employed. Generally I run my own business on weekends and every other Tuesday through the summer and fall. Weekdays and evenings are fairly wide open to spend time with furry friends. I am used to following a routine in my own home for my pets which includes timed feedings, regular medications, and cleaning of litter boxes. I also have someone in my home to take over my schedule if I were to take on a pet sitting job. In a client’s home I can easily adapt to their pet’s routine and maintain a calm presence so there is minimal stress.

About: While growing up, there were always 6 dogs in the house ranging from chow chows to a small morkie. With my friends and family, I’m the first one on-call to watch their furry friends. I’ve taken care of a Great Pyrenees puppy all the way to a 15 yr old chihuahua. I’m open to overnight pet sitting or even a simple walk :) I typically work Tuesday through Saturday during the day. So I’d be available for morning walks, morning and afternoon potty breaks, or even overnight stays! Sundays and Mondays I have open availability! Since every dog is different, I try to gauge the typical day based on the information provided. If your pup is very social and loves to explore, I’ll bring them on a scenic walk. If you have couch potato, that’s no problem at all!

Jadyne M.
“Jadyne is an absolutely amazing and very considerate pet sitter! I went out of town to visit family for over 2 weeks, and she was fantastic with coming in daily to check up on my cats. She stayed for a few hours at a time every day to check up on their automatic food and water feeders, as well as clean up their litterbox. I was especially appreciative of her attention to detail with the litterbox, since one of my cats is quite picky with the litterbox setup. Jadyne was able to accommodate her pickiness with no issues, which gave me enormous peace of mind on my trip! I was also grateful that Jadyne was willing to stay for a little bit during each visit to spend time with my cats and play with them so they wouldn't get too lonely. She frequently sent photos and videos so I knew they were doing okay, and communication was a breeze.”

Downtown pet parents share their Rover experiences
If you want real peace of mind, Adriana is the one for you. I am a massive worry wart, and had never been away from my dog overnight before. To say I was concerned about leaving him is an understatement. Adriana knew this and provided the exact type of service I was hoping for. She treated my boy like he was her own. Followed all of my instructions to a tee, and sent me so many great pictures. She was always on time, and even took it upon herself to clean up a cut he has that breaks open occasionally. She went above and beyond and I personally will be very bummed if she’s not available when I need her in the future. She’s that good! I don’t want to have to use anyone else besides her and I know my dog Chase would echo that sentiment. When you love your pet as much as I do (if you’re reading this, you must) knowing you have someone like Adriana looking after them is the ultimate peace of mind. Thank you again Adriana!!

Nicole was fantastic in caring for our three kitties. She sent so many pictures at our request and gave very detailed notes. She also took our feedback into consideration from the first visit into the rest of the visits in our booking. We would be so happy to have her care for them again!
Sierra did a wonderful job caring for my three cats for a week. They quickly warmed up to her and she gave them lots of attention, playtime and treats! I appreciated her daily updates with photos which let me know that everyone was doing great. She had a concern about their food intake at the beginning of the week and contacted me right away so we could discuss. She is very attentive, trustworthy and responds promptly to messages. I highly recommend her and will hire her for future pet sitting needs.

Hayley did an incredible job with my dog! She went above and beyond playing with her during drop-in visits and via the pictures she sent, I could tell my dog was super happy. If you want your dog to be loved while you’re away Hayley is the person for it; so grateful!

Jennah has cared for our dog, Theo, several times a week since August! She is extremely reliable and great with dogs! She put our mind at ease checking in on him during his neuter and other times that he had an upset stomach. She was always cautious with the weather and would quickly adjust with some active playtime inside if it was too hot or too cold outside. Jennah has cared for Theo since he was a puppy and it will be hard to find someone to replace her!

James was a fantastic cat sitter! He came by ahead of time to meet my cat and make sure they were a good fit, which I really appreciated. Throughout the stay, he sent plenty of pictures every day and kept me updated on food, water, and litter box levels. He was kind, professional, and very communicative. I felt totally at ease knowing my cat was in good hands. Highly recommend!

Julianne was very friendly and SUPER patient with our extremely anxious dog, Charlie. Scheduling went smoothly, Julianne was flexible and worked with us despite our last minute booking! Julianne was very comfortable with Charlie - who can lack manners when first meeting her (a work in progress for us) which can be difficult for many given she is a relatively larger breed. She sent cute pictures and kept us updated on how everything was going. We are grateful!

Savannah was phenomenal looking after and visiting my two dogs. Her communication and follow-through were both superb. They both were clearly well-cared for and it put me at ease knowing that their wellbeing was in Savannah's hands. I absolutely give Savannah the highest of recommendations and accolades.
