About: Hello! I have previously built a small dog sitting clientele in the city of Columbia between the years of 2017-2019. In 2019 I moved to STL and worked through Rover for about two more years until I got a full time job. Currently dipping my toes back into pet care! Although I am in St. Louis I am willing to travel to areas including, but not limited to; St. Charles, Wentzville, O'Fallon, etc. My set days off are Sunday and Monday. I do still currently have a fulltime job, so for the time being I will only be able to do drop in visits and walks. I am comfortable working with either dogs or cats. I have a 4 year old orange cat that I rescued at just 2 weeks old, so I have experience working with very small kittens as well. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask! I work about 30 hours a week, but will not let this effect how I care for your pet! My days off are always Sunday and Monday, and I am available at anytime either of those days, as well as most evenings and certain mornings. I unfortunately cannot offer services in my own home, but I am more than willing to provide pet watching in the clients home. I am able to do drop in visits, feedings, hair brushes, playtime, walks or whatever your pet needs while you're at work or just out for the day.

About: Hey there! My name is Annika, and I’m so excited to take your furry friend for a walk in STL. I’m originally from IL, where my family has had cats and dogs. Hey there! As far as overall care experience with animals, I’ve worked with dogs, cats, horses, and even a turtle (long story) since I was a kid. On the official dog walking front, I have 3 years of experience completing 360+ dog walks and sitting services through the Wag Walker app. I have also just passed my 2-year anniversary of weekly volunteering at a local cat shelter, Tenth Life Cat Rescue. I've found a way to get along with every personality I've come across, picked up tricks and tools for making sure pets are eating their meals and drinking their water, and cleaned up the most stomach-turning of messes. I'm sure your pet and I will be fast friends, but even if that's not the case and they'd rather hide under the bed the whole time, I will make sure your pet is safe and thoroughly cared for (and we can just be friends in spirit 🥲). My most open blocks of time to provide pet care are in the mornings and afternoons on weekdays, and I can also make my weekends available for care when given enough advance notice. Fridays are the one day each week where I have very limited availability during the day: these are my cat and horse rescue volunteer days. That being said, I can be available starting on Friday evenings for weekend settings, if given enough advance notice. For sittings, I generally stick to services within a 15 mi. radius of my neighborhood, Tower Grove South. This ensures I am a quick drive away from your home in case I need to get over there quickly, and it allows me to periodically check in on my own cats back at home. I'm open to either just dropping by 2-4 times a day to fulfill your pet's needs, or I can stay overnight at your home - whatever is preferred to make sure your pet is cared for and is kept to their routine. I do not offer boarding services. Overall, I believe in over communication and do not make assumptions. If I need clarification on your instructions or if an issue comes up during the service, I will reach out to you immediately. I keep my phone handy for texts and calls from you throughout the service, and will also regularly send photos and videos of your pet. I do not give pets treats unless explicitly instructed to do so. In those approved situations, I will only feed them kinds of treats that you provide. I do this being cognizant of different dietary sensitivities a pet may have and, again, not making any assumptions. Before starting a sitting service, I ideally want a chance to talk with you over the phone at minimum and get a sense of your pet's needs, preferences, triggers, etc., directly. If your pet understandably prefers to stay hidden during my sitting visits, I respect that. I will still look for them just to ensure they are okay. For walks, I do not take dogs to a dog park and/or let them off leash at any point. Even if your dog is completely trained, I don't trust other people with their dogs and will not risk putting your dog in danger. And even while on leash, I am overly cautious about interactions with other dogs and will generally steer away from other dogs in passing.

I work from home, so I have plenty of time for walks, belly rubs, playtime, and keeping your furry friends company while you’re away! I am located in The Grove with access to a dog park at my apartment complex as well as walking distance to both Forest Park & Tower Grove Park for pups that enjoy long walks. One of my dogs loves people and dislikes other dogs, while the other one enjoys dogs and is wary of people so I have experience with a variety of dog personalities and their differing needs. Whether your pet is a professional cuddler, an energetic adventurer, or simply here for the treats, I’d love to spoil them ◡̈ Since I work from home while finishing my PhD dissertation, pet care fits pretty naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to take plenty of breaks throughout the day for walks, playtime, and potty breaks. 🐾 My schedule is much more “read a paper, take a dog for a walk, write a paragraph, give belly rubs” than a traditional 9-to-5. I can easily adapt to the schedule of your pup! I’m happy to build pet care into my day and give your pets plenty of attention rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. Having a furry coworker around is honestly a pretty great dissertation-writing perk! 😂 Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or theirs, I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and any special instructions so they can feel comfortable and relaxed. About: I’ve have had pets since I was a kid which created my love for animals and have had my own personal pets for 20 years (5 dogs, 3 cats over the years). I have also become a foster pet parent for the last year( 2 different fosters). My love for animals encouraged me to start a career as pet groomer for 8 years which gave me a lot of hands on professional experience. I can read dog and cat body language and health needs incredibly well. I have a lot of experience with handling and caring for pets. I work great with all personalities and can tell when they are shy, excited, fearful, happy etc. I have experience administering medications to cats and dogs. I have a lot of senior dog experience. Unfortunately due to carpal tunnel I had to pick a new path which lead to Real Estate and boy do I MISS MY ANIMAL CLIENTS. Currently I work from home 80% of the time and would love to once again have some fur baby clients. Working from home will give me a lot of time to spend with your baby. I am the go to person when my friends and family need their pets to be taken care of. I go the extra mile when it comes to making them happy. I treat every animal like they are my own. I work from home 80% of the time. This gives me much availability and flexibility to look after your fur babies. I am available 7 days a week. I have a lot of hands-on experience working with pets. I make sure they receive the care they need whether it is a long walk, some playtime in the home, or even just a snuggle session I’ll be there. I love to learn all about their quirks and make sure those are taken into account for each pet. I do specialize in working with fearful or anxious dogs and cats. I am very patient and have owned several pets that need extra time and patience.

About: I’ve had all sorts of pets specifically dogs, cats, and different bird species since I was a baby. I can adapt to many animal personalities and needs. Im an online student, so I can care for pets anytime. I’m able to come early mornings and anytime during the day and night.
