“This is my first time using Rover for my senior dog and Keena is wonderful. She has always been on time, takes him for the full time booked and Charlie is happy when she brings him back. I will continue to use her.”

“Uğur has been walking my dog Kenny for only two weeks now and I can't sing his praises enough! He has gone above and beyond to care for and communicate with my dog. I can tell Kenny really likes him and vice versa!”

“Jamie is fantastic. I have a Dalmatian who does not like strangers and he came for a meet and greet and was really patient and knew exactly how to handle and react to her behavior. They were best pals in no time. I use him for 5x a week walks and he always sends pictures and notes about their trip. Very responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend.”

About: I have cared for dogs my whole life - from my own to those of neighbors and family friends. I am able to care for young puppies to those of a more senior age. I also have volunteer experience with various types of dogs at an animal shelter. I have a hybrid work schedule so I am available mainly in the evenings or on the weekends. I would love to help your pet get the care they need! I care for each and every pet like they are my own. First and foremost I will prioritize their safety, and your wishes as the pet parent!

“Sarah has been fantastic! She’s really good with both of my pups despite them having polar opposite personalities. She’s very professional and a great communicator. Would highly recommend.”

“Lauren is such a sweet and caring person with Romeo. I’m so glad she was able to help out! She communicates clearly, shows genuine care, and made sure Romeo was well taken care of. I’ll definitely be asking for her help again—highly recommended!”

“I had a last minute need for a dog walker Kyani was available and met us same day so she could walk her the next day. She was very caring and great with my dog!”

About: I am a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience, including volunteering at the Humane Society. I provide dependable, caring walks and treat every dog like family. I work full time for the St Louis Blues but I have an hour long lunch, work ends at 4 pm and I have most weekends available. I grew up with dogs my whole life so I am more than comfortable around dogs all shapes and sizes. I love to walk so they'll get plenty of exercise. I volunteer at the humane society so I feel more than comfortable creating a safe environment. I live alone and have no pets so I will be able to give your dog my full attention.
“We’ve been working with Morgan consistently over the past 6 months and she has been absolutely fantastic! She’s incredibly communicative and reliable giving us complete peace of mind. We trust her completely and would recommend her without hesitation to any of our close friends and family!!”

About: I've owned pets ranging from birds, to pigs, dogs and cats! I'm a ecstatic animal lover and a go-to sitter for many of my friends. I currently own one cat and one dog that truly love each other. I currently work 5 days a week, but only in the evening so mornings or afternoons work best. I am comfortable crating if necessary as well. I do not have a yard of my own but live in a very pet-friendly neighborhood in Soulard. I love directly across the street from a park where I frequently play with my dog Nala.
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, and they’ve always been more than pets—they’ve been family. Growing up as an only child, my dog was my best friend, and I took on the responsibility of crate and potty training him. I’ve cared for both small and large dogs, including a pit bull, and I understand their unique needs. I also have some experience with puppies and love learning about their specific care requirements. Whether it’s keeping up with their energy, helping with training, or providing plenty of affection, I’m ready to give your pet the love and attention they deserve. I’m currently between jobs, which gives me complete flexibility to care for your pet. Whether you need daytime, evening, or even last-minute walks or sitting, I’m fully available to meet your needs. I believe that caring for pets in their home environment is the best way to ensure they feel safe, secure, and comfortable. Being in a familiar space reduces stress and helps pets maintain their routine, which is essential for their well-being. I’m dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment wherever I care for them, treating every pet as if they were my own. Whether it's feeding, walking, playing, or simply providing companionship, I take the time to learn each pet’s needs and preferences. I understand how important it is for pets to feel loved and cared for while their owners are away.
About: I grew up with pets, I have house sat and pet sat since I was 13 and I am the proud mother of a cat. I currently work 3 12 hour shifts per week so I have a lot of open availability which varries week to week, which leaves a lot of free time to care for your pet! I have house sat, babysat, and looked after animals since I was in high school. I am very clean and am an animal loving person. I feel most comfortable in a clean environment. While I will not offer services in my own home ( I am not sure how my cat will interact with your pet) you can rest assured I will treat your home with the care and love of my own.
About: As a child, I grew up with having a cat as a pet. I love them so much, but remember begging my parent for a dog for many years. (Currently my boyfriend is allergic to cats so looks like we’re officially dog people) We finally got a family dog when I was 15, a giant sweetheart, St. Bernard named Rocky. I got my first (full responsibility) dog with my high school boyfriend at 17, a big headed, gentle giant Blue Nose Pitbull. And I adopted my soul dog at 19, our stubborn, loving stinky boy, Tyson! We spend the last 15 year together and he went across the rainbow bridge last year. I was so lucky to have my 80 lb boxer pitbull live as much life as he did by my side. As a 34 year old who is pet-less for the 1st time in forever, I’m here to share my love for animals in my spare time with your sweet babies! My schedule changes frequently. Weekdays are usually best for my availability for walks. Weekends are optional for over night care, but I will be working so they need to be house or crate trained. I have a fenced yard shared with a duplex that has no other animals. There are lots of squirrels and bunnies in my area, but otherwise your furry friend will have the whole yard to theirselves! I enjoy spending time with them in the yard as well
“Annamaria has been great! Charlie seems to really like her, and she’s been able to get him out of the house every visit so far - he can sometimes be a bit stubborn and refuse to get up lol. I’m very happy with the service so far, and definitely plan to continue having her work with Charlie.”

The median cost per walk for dog walking in Downtown is $20
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Downtown
Jamie is just the best! Our dogs love him, and he’s always available, even on short notice. One of our dogs is a bit skittish and he does so well with her and follows her cues if she doesn’t feel like walking. We’re so grateful to have found someone who loves our dogs as much as we do.

We’ve been working with Morgan consistently over the past 6 months and she has been absolutely fantastic! She’s incredibly communicative and reliable giving us complete peace of mind. We trust her completely and would recommend her without hesitation to any of our close friends and family!!

If you're looking for a professional review for an excellent dog walker, you could write: > **⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended Dog Walker** > > I am extremely pleased with the care and professionalism provided by this dog walker. They are reliable, punctual, and genuinely passionate about animals. My dog is always excited to see them and returns home happy, well-exercised, and relaxed after each walk. Communication is excellent, with regular updates and photos that give me peace of mind while I'm away. Their attention to detail, patience, and caring attitude make them someone I trust completely with my pet. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a dependable and compassionate dog walker. For a shorter review: **Excellent dog walker!** Reliable, professional, and caring. My dog loves every walk, and I appreciate the regular updates and attention given to my pet. Highly recommended!

Hayley has been the primary dog walker for 7+ months. She’s reliable, flexible and my puppy absolutely loves her. As an added bonus, I could never have taken pictures of my puppy the way she did. She captured my puppy growing up from a few months old to almost a year old. I will cherish them for years to come. She is simply an all around great person.

Catelyn stepped in to walk my dog, Princeton Antonio, for a few mornings while our regular walker was away and she made a wonderful impression in such a short time! She was communicative, punctual, and kind, and she treated Princeton with such care and attentiveness. On her last day, she even left a thoughtful thank-you card, which speaks volumes about the kind of person (and professional) she is. Though our time together was brief, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and kind-hearted dog walker.

Niah has been a wonderful part of Princeton Antonio’s daily routine, and he gets extra excited whenever she arrives! She’s energetic, caring, and incredibly thoughtful. One of the things I appreciate most is how she always sends me sweet photos of Princeton that I can share with my mother in Chicago (who, by the way, adores her St. Louis-based grand-dog). Rain or shine, Niah shows up every evening without fail. Her dependability and connection with Princeton have been incredibly helpful while I've been recovering from a broken ankle. She has my highest recommendation to anyone who needs a dog walker or pet sitter.
