“Kyani was excellent. Extremely responsive and responsible with our dogs. She was super easy to work with and even helped arrange taking our dogs to boarding at my request. I will absolutely rebook with her next time I need pet care. Very personable and obviously a dog lover.”
“Uğer could not be more kind and patient with my energetic young dogs. He has also been reliable and very communicative as a dog walker. You can really tell how much he loves dogs. I could not recommend him higher and will request his services any time I need care for my pups.”

“Rebekah has taken Oli for a long walk for the first time and it went great! It makes us feel so much better when we are stuck at work and know that our fur baby is in good hands, safe, and getting her needs met. Rebekah took plenty of pictures and updated us on how the walk went. We hope to have Rebekah taking care of Oli again and would definitely recommend her to other fur parents! We could tell she genuinely loves dogs and prioritizes their safety.”

“Annamaria has been great! Charlie seems to really like her, and she’s been able to get him out of the house every visit so far - he can sometimes be a bit stubborn and refuse to get up lol. I’m very happy with the service so far, and definitely plan to continue having her work with Charlie.”

“Jamie was freaking awesome. Communication was sweet and responsive and my pup was exceptionally well taken care of, even with medications and geriatric needs.”

“This is my first time using Rover for my senior dog and Keena is wonderful. She has always been on time, takes him for the full time booked and Charlie is happy when she brings him back. I will continue to use her.”

About: I run a 5k every day and can handle large or small dogs. For boarding I have 2 acres of fenced in grass nearby where I run by husky at daily. My experience : I've had dogs in my home since I was 7 and was tasked with their walks and training. I now have a 2yo siberian Husky, Shryko, who I have off-leash trained for hikes and river adventures. So I'm very active, and my dogs have a lot of enriched exploring and exercise. All this with only treats, praise and regular patient consistency. I am a circus artist and entertainer by nights and weekends when the work is available. I spend most week days free at home honing my skill set and arranging bookings. Therefore plenty of time to head out for walks, or break and enrich a dog's day with playtime. I have a fenced in yard and large living room. 1 dog, 8 month 40lb siberian husky girl who loves company and playtime. Also have a large crate if separation is needed.

About: *insured and have a business outside of Rover. Look up entailed adventures. **I’m mostly just trying to use the app to reach more people. We have been in business for a year, but been doing this for friends family for many years prior. Whether you are busy pet parent or just needing a bit of help here and there, I take care of most animals: dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, etc… I’ve had a pet care service for almost a year but I have years of experience taking care of animals for 8. I’m currently working full time, but I am working on being able to do this full time. I will keep my calendar updated to match my schedule at work until I can do this full time. I house sit at the clients home. If you do not have a fence, I will walk the pet long enough so they can get some enjoyment. I will clean as I go and it will either look as good as it did or better when you come back.
About: As a child, I grew up with having a cat as a pet. I love them so much, but remember begging my parent for a dog for many years. (Currently my boyfriend is allergic to cats so looks like we’re officially dog people) We finally got a family dog when I was 15, a giant sweetheart, St. Bernard named Rocky. I got my first (full responsibility) dog with my high school boyfriend at 17, a big headed, gentle giant Blue Nose Pitbull. And I adopted my soul dog at 19, our stubborn, loving stinky boy, Tyson! We spend the last 15 year together and he went across the rainbow bridge last year. I was so lucky to have my 80 lb boxer pitbull live as much life as he did by my side. As a 34 year old who is pet-less for the 1st time in forever, I’m here to share my love for animals in my spare time with your sweet babies! My schedule changes frequently. Weekdays are usually best for my availability for walks. Weekends are optional for over night care, but I will be working so they need to be house or crate trained. I have a fenced yard shared with a duplex that has no other animals. There are lots of squirrels and bunnies in my area, but otherwise your furry friend will have the whole yard to theirselves! I enjoy spending time with them in the yard as well
About: i’ve been around dogs my whole life and cats too, so being with animals just comes naturally to me. i have two cats and a dog of my own, so i’m used to different personalities, energy levels, and routines every day. i’m a huge animal lover in general—not just pets, but everything from little beetles to deer and anything in between 😂 i’ve always had a soft spot for animals. i pay attention to how they act and what they need, whether they’re super playful or more shy. i make sure they’re fed, comfortable, and getting the attention they need while you’re away. i treat every pet like they’re mine, and i know how big of a deal it is to trust someone with your animals. i’m reliable, easy to communicate with, and i’ll make sure your pet is safe, happy, and well taken care of—no stress on your end. my days usually start around 8–9am depending on when my cats wake me up for breakfast lol. my dog zuko is more of a couch potato, but when he needs to go out he definitely lets me know. i work from home and my schedule is super flexible, so i’m not stuck at a desk and can move around freely throughout the day. that means i’m able to give pets a lot of attention, take breaks for walks, and adjust my day around their needs. once i’m up, i take zuko out for his first bathroom break, then we come back in for breakfast. after that i’ll relax a bit, clean up, and then we head back out for a good walk or sometimes the park. after that we come back, he gets a treat, and the rest of the day is pretty go with the flow—lots of attention, check-ins, and making sure everyone’s comfortable and taken care of. i make sure pets are always in a safe, clean, and calm environment. i live in a loft that gets a lot of natural sunlight, and my pets love it—they’re usually sunbathing and relaxing most of the day, which creates a really peaceful vibe. i pay close attention to behavior and routines so pets feel comfortable, especially in a new space or with a new person. i’m also very mindful about things like doors, food safety, and keeping anything harmful out of reach. i follow your instructions closely so your pet stays on their normal routine as much as possible. since i work from home and have a flexible schedule, your pet won’t be left alone or ignored—they’ll get consistent attention, care, and a relaxed environment. i’ll also keep you updated so you always know your pet is happy and in good hands.

About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is the level of care, attentiveness, and protection I provide to every dog as if they were my own. I have experience working with young puppies who need patience, structure, and consistency with basic training and routines, as well as senior dogs who require gentle handling, medication management, and close monitoring. Safety is always my top priority I am highly observant on walks, mindful of surroundings, and proactive in preventing any potential risks. I understand canine body language, which helps me anticipate needs and avoid stressful situations. Whether it’s reinforcing positive behaviors, sticking to a detailed feeding schedule, or providing calm companionship for anxious pets, I create a secure and loving environment where dogs feel comfortable and protected. Owners can trust that their pets are not only cared for, but truly looked after with responsibility, awareness, and genuine affection. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially as an incoming medical student with a flexible study schedule. While my classes are structured, I have built-in breaks throughout the day that allow me to step away, reset, and give pets the attention they need. Studying also provides flexibility, since I can organize my time around walks, feeding schedules, play sessions, and check-ins. I value balance and know how important movement and fresh air are, so taking a dog out for a walk or spending time engaging with them fits seamlessly into my day. When I’m studying, pets stay in a safe, calm environment where they can relax comfortably nearby. Being in a rigorous academic program has strengthened my time management skills, responsibility, and attentiveness — qualities that directly translate into providing reliable, consistent, and safe care for every dog I look after. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. In my home, pets stay in a clean, calm, and secure environment with constant supervision, scheduled walks, and plenty of attention. I maintain consistent routines for feeding, exercise, and rest to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all provided instructions, respect the space, and keep pets on their normal schedule to ensure stability. I’m attentive to behavior changes, mindful of surroundings on walks, and proactive about preventing any safety risks, so owners can feel confident their pets are protected and well cared for.
“Liz is dependable, responsible, and kind, I highly recommend hiring her! She walks our 8 year old dog and gives her medicine on week days. She is easy to contact and flexible for changes in our schedule. Our dog loves Liz, she has a very calm and easygoing presence.”

Downtown dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kyani was excellent. Extremely responsive and responsible with our dogs. She was super easy to work with and even helped arrange taking our dogs to boarding at my request. I will absolutely rebook with her next time I need pet care. Very personable and obviously a dog lover.
Catelyn stepped in to walk my dog, Princeton Antonio, for a few mornings while our regular walker was away and she made a wonderful impression in such a short time! She was communicative, punctual, and kind, and she treated Princeton with such care and attentiveness. On her last day, she even left a thoughtful thank-you card, which speaks volumes about the kind of person (and professional) she is. Though our time together was brief, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and kind-hearted dog walker.

Niah has been a wonderful part of Princeton Antonio’s daily routine, and he gets extra excited whenever she arrives! She’s energetic, caring, and incredibly thoughtful. One of the things I appreciate most is how she always sends me sweet photos of Princeton that I can share with my mother in Chicago (who, by the way, adores her St. Louis-based grand-dog). Rain or shine, Niah shows up every evening without fail. Her dependability and connection with Princeton have been incredibly helpful while I've been recovering from a broken ankle. She has my highest recommendation to anyone who needs a dog walker or pet sitter.
