About: I’ve been caring for pets for a few years, mostly for close friends and family. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or just keeping them company while their family is away, I’ve always treated pets as my own. I often help with housesitting and babysitting as well, so I’ve learned to also juggle multiple responsibilities. I’m currently home for the summer from college, although as back to school season starts, my last day in Bakersfield will be September 15th. With no current academic commitments, I am able to build my daily routine around the pets I care for! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always do my best to keep their routines as normal and comfortable as possible. I’m not afraid to ask clarifying questions about your pets to ensure I am giving them the best care. :)

About: I’ve had many dogs and cats while growing up and with that, I’ve had to take careful care of them in their senior years with medications and their overall well-being. I’ve always been trusted to dog sit overnight at friend’s and family’s houses throughout the years. I am a 2nd year nursing student and currently have the summer off from school leaving me plenty of free time for watching and taking care of animals. My main priority with this job is pet safety of course. I’m very cautious when taking them on walks and when they are around unfamiliar dogs.

About: I own and take care of my own 4 cats and love every minute I have with them. I am very reliable and detail oriented. I am available most days and evenings to provide pet care at the customer’s convenience. I can make myself available to accommodate any customer schedule. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was around ten years old. I have experience from pigs, bunnies, turtles, to cats and of course dogs! I have raised puppies of my own and senior dogs as well. I love pets in all shapes, sizes and most importantly, personalities! I have even volunteered at the animal shelter to make sure I can provide those without owners, a loving experience with genuine care. I am a full time student at UCSB where I only attend a couple of classes in the morning for only a few hours at a time. I live very close to campus so I am always able to come home in between classes. I am very much a home body so I have pretty much a free schedule to bond and play with your furry loved one! My home is very safe, it is a studio with a smaller backyard. There is much space inside for your furry loved ones to play and the best part is the dog park across the street! For those whose house I will be entering, I will always listen to any special instructions and be very respectful of your space.

“Joshua is a breath of fresh air for me and my poopers! He is extremely reliable, responsible and amazing with my doggos. You can tell he loves animals and mine sure do love him. He is so kind and respectful to them. (For example, this is one of many) My little girl is a stubborn puppy, he is so calm with her in his commands . He will tell her "no ma'am" in the nicest voice, when she jumps on him. This may be a small thing for some, but lemme tell you, she is as stubborn as they get. Additionally, he works on training them, on my puppies dominance issues, utilizing commands, and leash training. Honestly, I lucked out. He really goes above and beyond. If you need a person who is going to love your babies and reliably show up, Joshua is your man. I've been with Rover for over 5 years and Joshua supersedes the rest. About: Pretty much all of my life I’ve had a pet or two within my household. My first pet I remember clearly have a lot of responsibilities for was a cat I had when I was around 7. I would feed her, clean her litter box, and overall assist my family with caring for her. A couple years later I got a Golden Retriever and it was this dog that showed me how much I love animals. Once again I was always willing to help with her care, taking her for walks, giving her baths, and brushing her hair whenever needed. Now I have two dogs that I take extension care of and that I love to death. I bathe them, feed them, play with and take for walks. I’m currently employed and work a part time job, with a majority of my focus being towards school. I attend classes Monday-Thursday. At the moment I am currently on winter break so when I’m not working I spend most days with my dogs. I take them for walks regularly, feed them everyday, and give them attention all throughout the days. I grew up being taught to treat animals and other living things with respect and kindness. When I dog sit animals I abide by the rules given to me by owners and will care completely for the animals. I will feed whatever pets exactly how I am instructed, let them go outside to use the restroom regularly, and play with them extensively. I love animals a lot and I will probably spoil the animals with lots of love and attention if allowed. When walking my own dogs I allow my dogs to go potty and will pick up after them, I would let the dogs walk wherever they choose to go. I know that the dogs walks are for them to go out and get some fresh air and go potty.

About: hello ! im rilie i hope to meet you and your fur babies <3 i have spent a little over 5 years handling my pets and other peoples pets like family and friends while they go out of town. im willing to help others with their pets as well. i have trained dogs but for basic commands (sit,lay,wait) and potty training. i love cuddling up on animals, i love EVERY single animal no matter size or what it looks like. animals honestly make life better :) i have currently finished school to become a veterinary assistant i know the basics of almost everything with animal medicine. fed/watered many dogs and cats. i have helped with puppies/young dogs/senior cats&dogs and newborn puppys/kittens i have also done kennel tech and know most of the cleaning and the way things go around that. my schedule its pretty free anywhere after 9am. thankyou !!! :) i have 4 dogs of my own, i have a german shepherd named auzlo, a belgian malinois named cane, a dachshund named izzy and a pomeranian/dachshund named ace. i also have 2 cats one calico named indi and a tortoiseshell named cookie. i love all 6 of my fur babies 🩷🩵. i care of them on a daily basis of course, all of their waters get changed everyday. they get fed on a time schedule. they all have their own beds/blankeys and MANY MANY toys lol, everytime i go to the store my babies get a toy.

About: I am not personally trained but I do have basic knowledge about taking care of dogs and puppies as I have also taken good care of my sister's little and big pup. Ever since I was a little girl I have loved dogs and puppies and my love for them will definitely continue. If you choose me to dog sit or provide any service that is needed for your dog or puppy I will gladly play with him/her and do anything to leave them satisfied with their visit. I know that I do not have any professional training, but with this training, it will help me gain a better understanding of what it is like being a dog sitter and also a great experience for me.
