About: I’ve had animals my entire life. At age 11 I took over the majority of the care of my cats, dogs, chickens, llama, and guinea pig. I have cared for many special needs and senior cats and dogs. I have fostered several litters of kittens as well and all the special needs kittens have been foster fails. I absolutely adore senior critters most of my childhood cats lived to the age of 16 to 19 so I learned to appreciate the time I get with them. My experience with special needs animals includes, many kittens that were born with genetic difficulties, such as heart and breathing issues, compromised immune systems and limb deformities. As well as my rescued senior chihuahua that had a rib deformity. If you have any special needs or senior pets I will make sure that they receive all the care and attention they deserve. I am available most days of the week, I spend most days in Bakersfield and I have to go to Tehachapi for one to three days a week to take care of my mom’s pets and property I will follow all instructions leave your house just as you left it and make sure all doors are locked if you have any extra security measures such as alarms I will make sure they are set when I leave
About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.

About: I began to offer pet-sitting to friends and family just for some dog breath and tail wags in my life after my dog passed away. A family member told me about Rover and - here I am! My childhood dog was one of my best friends. We would play together for hours and I was responsible to feed, bathe, and clean up after him. He loved belly rubs and going with us on family walks. When the neighbor's dogs broke through the fence and attacked him, I was the one who flushed and cleaned his wounds, changed his bandages, and nursed him back to health after he came home from the vet. He became diabetic when he grew old and I gave him his insulin shots. I also had an outdoor cat, and pet sat for a neighbor who had an iguana, fish, water turtles, and cockatiels. As an adult, I adopted a pit-mix rescue and we enjoyed obedience training, going to the dog park, car rides for a pup cup, going for walks, and playing tug-of-war. Last year, he was diagnosed with an oral tumor and he needed lots of extra care during his last months. He needed medication 3 times a day, a specialized diet when it became difficult for him to eat kibble, and eventually hand-feeding for him to be able to eat at all. He passed away 14 years old. I wouldn't trade one minute. I'm currently working part-time in the morning and would love to spend my afternoons with animals. If you need someone to care for your pet mid-day, we're the perfect match. I provide care where your pet feels safest - in their own home environment. Please leave me detailed instructions so I know where to find their food and food bowl, leash, toys, medications, etc. If you have spacial boundaries for your pet such as not being allowed on the couch or bed, in specific rooms, or if they are outside-dog only, etc., please let me know so I can respect and enforce those boundaries.
About: I am a college student who is also a barista and a full time dog lover. I used to have two of my own dogs, but sadly they have passed Not only have I taken care of my own dogs, but neighbor's dogs and I have accompanied my mom to drop in visits for dogs. About: I’ve volunteered at the shelters for several years. I participated in their cruising canines program that had me take a shelter pup out weekly for a few hours to burn energy.
