About: I’ve been around dogs all my life wether that be with my own dogs or having to spend the night at a friends house while they’re away. I’ve always been around dogs all my life and never had a issue with them I am currently in college and in a part time job but I still have plenty of time on my hands to take care of animals at the end of the day I’ve been able to handle multiple dogs at once with varying energy levels. They’ve all had different behaviors and unique ways to calm them down and handle them.
“Alyssa is AMAZING. our lil rescue Chiweenie can be a nervous guy and Alyssa was great with him and super patient. We had her come by and hang out while we were gone and it was so great having the peace of mind knowing someone was home with him. We will definitely be booking her again if needed in the future!”

About: I love animals!!! I’ve cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, and even horses for over 10 years. Choose me to care for your special little critter or critters, I’ll treat them like my own Most days I wake up early in the morning and let my cat inside and feed him and give him some love before I leave for school or lift. When I get back he’s usually waiting for me outside the door so we can hangout! After we’re done hanging out I clean his litter box and make sure he has his gourmet dinner that he has everyday. I take care of my cat spooky everyday by feeding him, cleaning his litter box often, deshedding him, and giving him lots of love and cuddles, and I can do the same for your critters. I care about the safety of your critters and will always be aware cautious of my surroundings while walking and taking care of them.

About: We are a dog loving family and have one dog named Link who loves to make new friends. When going out of town, we've struggled to find many places that will treat Link how we would and make him part of the family, this inspired us to provide this for other families and dogs. There will typically be someone home with your pet when they are staying in our home, Haley stays at home with the kids and would let your dog out to play in our large backyard as often as needed. She can also take dogs on walks and keep them comfortable in our home during the day. We will have a crate or dog bed inside available for nighttime sleeping. Our children are taught to be kind and gentle to animals and are so excited to meet new dogs. We have fenced in chickens in the yard. Nathan has been through multiple obedience and agility training courses through the years and has experience with various breeds. We look forward to meeting you. We are at home a lot with the kids and pets. Haley is at home with the kids during the week and Nathan works around the block. We have a fenced, large yard which is very secure for dogs. We have toys and balls to throw for the dogs, they will have lots of play time.
About: I have always had dogs in my house since I was small and in the past five years we have gotten cats. We have also had some exotic animals including: chinchilla , hamsters, guinea pigs, a bearded dragon, and birds. I work as a transcriber so I am always home. My dogs need medication so I make sure they eat it after their food. As I have cats as well I do a daily scoop to make sure that there is no waste in there. I make sure to always read every part of instructions for the care of the fur baby that I am taking care of as well as cleaning up after the mess that may happen while I am there.
“We were in a real bind to get a sitter and she was able to help us at the last minute. She took great care of both of our dogs and even washed some of their blankets while we were gone. Would recommend her again!”

“Lyra was kind, soft spoken, reliable, friendly and took great care of our big boy. She stayed with in at our home and left our house as clean as she found it. We highly recommend her!”

“Kiah is perfect for us. She loves our kitties and clearly, the boys love her (our girl, not so much; she's wary of everyone). She went over and above my instructions and the house was just as we left it. The kitties were happy, we are happy and grateful to Kiah. We all look forward to her next visit!”

“We had Nicole come stay with our blind foster dog, Ducky, while we were away and it went better than we could have ever hoped. Ducky is quite the handful as she is a blind puppy with lots of attitude but Nicole saw right away how amazing Ducky is and knew exactly what she needed to feel safe and secure so she can be her hilariously goofy self! We got lots of updates throughout the week. She took her on walks every day, played with her non stop, and made sure that her routines were consistently followed. The day she left, ducky went into the room she was staying in and looked for her immediately. We will absolutely be booking Nicole again!”

“Gabrielle did a great job caring for our pets and house. She managed to get a shy and anxious cat her daily pills, and our dog was happy upon our return, always a good sign. We would not hesitate to use her again.”

“Wes was such a great dog sitter! I just rescued my poodle Ted a month ago, and he had an abusive past. He’s also still a puppy at 9 months old. I was worried how he would be with me gone for five days. Wes took the time to do a meet and greet to meet Ted and my older dog, Henry. Throughout the sit, Wes sent photo and video updates. Both dogs were happy and comfortable. Wes gave me the best peace of mind, and I will 100% use him again in the future.”

“Erin was AMAZING! We are so thankful to of found and worked with her. She took such good care of our pups. One senior and one adult dog plus a cat. She made them feel at peace while we were away and couldn't of asked for a better outcome. Will work with her again.”

“It was a pleasure having Deborah sit with our 14 year old pup Dexter. Deborah quickly responded to our initial inquiry and met with Dex and I shortly afterwards. She communicated the day before her scheduled sit and arrived promptly at an agreed upon time. She asked all the appropriate questions about feeding, Dexter's daily routine, and what she could do to keep him comfortable during our absence. Deborah communicated during her sit to let us know that all was well. We returned to a happy dog and a tidy house. Would recommend Deborah and we will be using her services again.”

About: I’ve had a handful of blessings throughout my life, some of them being sweetypie(golden retriever) blue and yellow(parakeets) and Mr. Coco (chihuahua) and I’ve rescued 2 kitty’s and brought them back to good health. Currently I have a furball named Ollie she is a black cute little bunny and I love her to death even tho she is a brat, I’ve also done some petsitting for family’s and friends so I’m used to big dogos and small, Sphynx cats and furry cats. I’m currently between jobs so I’ll be able to fit any and all appointments for the time being except weekends, and I’ll switch my availability when the time comes. Currently with my furball I check on her thought the day and give her mandatory pets thought the day I’ll also play with her if she is up to it but if not just a lot of petting she is litter box trained so we scoop it frequently and make sure her area is vacuumed at the least once a week due to her tracking hay in there paths of destruction. I’ve also taken care of big doggos and for them it was a lot more hands on activity’s like playing fetch and cuddles and more fetch( they got a lot of energy) walks at least 2 times a day and feeding 2 times a day one Doggo had an issue were he inhaled his food and anything else around so I’m used to keeping an eye on them and using special bowls for food and water, I’ve also petsit for Sphynx cats they ate 2 times a day and mostly would try and crawl into any open area in your cloths and keep warm and or be under a very big pile of blankets :)
“Abbygale was great to work with and took great care of our cat and dog while we were out of town. Abbygale was easy to communicate with and left our home very clean. Would love to book Abbygale again to care for our pets.”

“Rachel is amazing! Her calm nature and constant communication was our saving grace and hers, since our youngest dog had separation anxiety at first. I appreciate everything she did to help the dogs relax a trust her abilities.”

Downs pet parents share their Rover experiences
Gabriella was a super sweet and trustworthy pet sitter that we will definitely use again the next time we go out of town! She checked in regularly with updates and followed our instructions to a T. She also was able to stay a few hours extra last minute due to our flight being delayed without hesitation! We felt very safe and that our fur babies were in great hands with her!
It is really hard to trust your home and pets to someone you don't know. Kevin did such a great job and it was a first for us in having a sitter who didn't hesitate to communicate. Updates, questions, photos. The house was in such great condition when we got back too -- our dogs create fur clouds fast and he vacuumed them up before we got home. There was no sign someone else had basically been living in it, and in similar condition to when we left. Most important, the animals didn't act like we had been gone. No pouting or anxiety. Thank you so much Kevin!
