“Renee was wonderful with my pup and cat. She adapted without a problem when Truffle got an injury right before we left and suddenly had to take medications that he usually doesn’t have to use. Renee was able to get him to take the meds without a problem and keep him comfortable. It was obvious that our pets were well taken care of and Renee stayed well beyond the scheduled time to be present when we arrived.”

“Maggie house sat for us during our long weekend and everything went great! Our dog was well taken care of and the house was clean when we got back. Thanks again for everything!”

“Wonderful sitter for our two dogs! Great communication, dependable, and clearly cares about them. We came home to happy pups and couldn’t be more pleased.”

“Elsbeth was great with Gus! He tends to be a bit nervous on walks but she still worked with him and sent me updates on how he was doing. Also, came back to a clean home which is greatly appreciated after a long trip!”

“Kylee did an amazing job with our anxious pup! She couldn’t have been more patient or inventive, and our house was in great condition upon our return. We’ll definitely use her again!”

“Pam did a great job staying at my house with my 4-yr-old miniature poodle while I was away. I could tell when I got back that he had a really fun time with her, and he had been super well cared for. She sent lots of adorable photos, too. I would definitely hire her again!”

“Claudia was extremely generous with her time on short notice to watch my high-energy pup. She was extremely communicative, and went above and beyond to check in with updates and activities. I came home to a very content dog! Book with confidence.”

“Addie was great! Our dog can be very anxious, especially with new people and in new places, but she seemed to trust Addie very quickly and we felt much more comfortable leaving her with someone while we went out.”

“Katie did a great job of communicating during our vacation so that we knew our pup was doing well. We came home to a happy dog and a well taken care of home. We would recommend Katie very highly!”
“Jena was amazing and patient with our anxious and reactive dog! She sent plenty of updates and photos throughout the day, and we felt confident our girls were in good hands. Thanks Jena!”

“I was nervous to leave my dog for the first time but Robert made it super easy! He sent me lots of updates and left the apartment looking great. My dog loves him too. Looking forward to having Robert watch my pup in the future!”

“Elizabeth was great! She was flexible in willing to meet us and our pets in person. She also sent us updates while we were away and never complained about Dia once, even though Dia is sometimes difficult to motivate to go outside. Elizabeth even took our trash out for us, which was a bonus favor that was not requested or expected! We will definitely be booking her again.”

Douglas Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Al took care of my car and dog for one night, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, he was thoughtful, professional, and asked all the right questions during our meet and greet to really understand their routines and needs. He followed their schedule closely, was incredibly thorough with updates, and sent LOTs of photos. As a star pet sitter myself, I know how hard it can be to find someone you truly trust with your fur babies —and Al absolutely earned that trust. He was kind, attentive, and clearly cares deeply about the pets he looks after. I would not hesitate to book him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate sitter!

Christine was amazing! I was nervous with Mouse being a recent rescue but at our meet and greet she immediately put us both at ease. She had such a calming presence and handled him effortlessly even though I think he might be taller than her on his hind legs! She had no problem managing his reactivity on walks and him needing constant attention and her to be at the apartment the majority of the time. I could tell when I got back that she had been consistent with the training I was doing and he was progressing in it during her stay! Christine was also so flexible and helpful when my flight was cancelled and I struggled to get back because of the ice storm. She still got him out to play and took such great care of him. I can’t say enough how amazing she is! My only critique would be that she doesn’t charge enough for the exceptional level of service she provides! Thanks Christine! :)

Timothy was wonderful! He was very responsive and would proactively send updates and cute pics of my pup, Frankie. He was thorough and asked questions to ensure he understood her needs and typical routine. I could tell Frankie had a good time with him. I look forward to having Timothy watch her again in the future.

Vanessa has house-sat for me twice within the last month or so, and each time, she has absolutely crushed it! She's extremely communicative and asks all the right questions, which shows me the level of attention she gives to each of my boys. I couldn't be happier to have her and will definitely have her back. :)

Laura did a great job caring for my dog and cat while we were out of the country. She was willing to come to a meet and greet, and I felt like my elderly dog with lots of needs was in good hands. She was very communicative and I would definitely book with her again.

Our recently-adopted 11 month old dog, Tuck, stayed with Carlie for four days. We were a little nervous leaving him for the first time but he hit it off with Carlie right away! She was really communicative, flexible and took really great care of him. Highly recommend!!

Ciara was truly the perfect Rover experience. I was looking for a new reliable sitter since my previous one had moved away and she was nothing short of amazing. Constant updates and pictures were provided without me asking and was extremely considerate. Will definitely be booking her again.
