About: I grew up on a farm in NC surrounded by animals, and dogs have always been a big part of my life. Caring for pets comes naturally to me, and I enjoy getting to know each dog's unique personality and needs. I recently moved to Lexington with my husband, who is a veterinarian, which has given me an even greater appreciation for pet health and well-being. Whether your dog is an energetic puppy, a senior needing extra patience, or somewhere in between, I'll provide attentive, reliable care while you're away! I currently work part-time and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting throughout the week. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and make sure each pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care. When caring for pets in a client's home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, medications, or simply providing companionship, I follow each owner's instructions closely and treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I would my own. As a pet owner myself to an 11½-year-old Maltipoo, I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your furry family member.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, and have taken care of them for as long as I can remember. Throughout my childhood I’ve had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, parrots and fish in all stages of life. I’ve learned to cater to every need because of this, as every pet needs something specific to their age, size and personality. I can handle pets of all sizes and energy levels, and will treat each just as I would one of my own. I’m a full-time college student home for Summer break, and I have a very open schedule that I would love to fill surrounded by fur babies. I’d like to make pet sitting my full-time job for the season, so I have lots of flexibility and availability. I have a large fully fenced in back yard and live in close proximity to a dog park. I currently have one of my own super friendly dogs at home, and I have plenty of space to welcome yours, and/or separate them comfortably if needed for whatever reason.

About: After experiencing the tragic loss of my own cats due to a negligent pet sitter, I became deeply committed to providing the highest level of care for all animals. That experience taught me how vital it is to entrust pets to someone who not only understands their needs but treats them like family. I specialize in senior pet care, offering compassionate support for aging pets, including administering medications, managing health conditions, and providing gentle, tailored exercise routines. I also have experience training puppies, helping them develop good behaviors early on and ensuring they have the structure they need to thrive. My focus is always on building trust and creating a safe, loving environment for your pets, so they feel comfortable and secure when you're away. Above all, I aim to offer peace of mind to pet owners, knowing their animals are in caring, responsible hands. Available almost anytime in Lexington and surrounding areas contact in advance is recommended but we can take last-minute calls depending on the situation and what not. Also I work with you budget! I have a park near me and I do take my own dog to the dog park every chance I get via Lyft and plenty of toys for your fur babies!

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats since I was a kid my family loves animals. I dog sit for family friends and have taken care of animals as veterinarian tech. I’m currently a student at UK and take a mix of online and short in person classes. My schedule is pretty relaxed as I don’t have classes everyday of the week. When I do have class I’m home a lot between classes and have time to check on animals every 2 hours. I live near campus so I can take your pet on walks around campus or to the park. I live in a pet free and smoke free apartment and can easily crate your pet if needed.

I am very comfortable caring small and large breeds with different energy levels and needs. I work from home which means the dogs won't be left alone for hours. About: I’ve owned multiple disabled dogs and can care for them. I’m also experienced in giving medicine to animals that may need it. grew up around a lot of different animals and I love spending time with new animals and seeing all the different dog and cat breeds. 😁 I stay at home and my schedule is very flexible, so the fur babies will get plenty of attention and love! About: I have had multiple dogs my entire life, & multiple cats. I currently have a mini Australian Shepherd at home & a grey cat! My golden retriever husky recently passed, but I have lots of experience with puppies & hyper dogs! I just have classes at UK, so lots of free time outside of class time! I am free on weekends & love to care for pets & love going on walks with dogs:) I have lots of training experience, & have even raised my own puppy & kitten from a very young age. I am also a very clean & organized person.

Im going to be a senior this year at Lexington Christian Academy and have a part time job at the Ymca. Im available during the week 4-10pm. I have a big fenced in yard with a small dog and cat. They are both very friendly towards people and pets. always put pets’ safety and comfort first. I carefully follow pet parents’ instructions and stick to each pet’s routine. Whether in my home or a client’s, I keep the environment calm, clean, and secure, and I closely supervise pets during walks and playtime. About: Ive had a total of 2 dogs and 1 cat and 2 kittens. Also I have pet sat a variety of animals from cata and dogs to even snakes. All well taken care of and loved. I know exactly how important our little friends are and I would protect them and take care them as my own. I am currently on leave from my regular job so I have all the time in the world to pet sit and it would work in well with the daily walka I take my own child on. I have a two different parks very close to my home that I tale my child and a baby gate to ensure that no one will go anuwhere unsafe.

About: My name is Vivi (she/her)! I have been watching, sitting and walking dogs for over four years. I have a keen sense of animal personality and behaviour and have always enjoyed being around them. I've been known by many as *the* dog whisperer--you're in excellent hands here! I live with my friends downtown, but return to my parents house for dog care. Someone's always home for bookings. I work on my own projects between interacting with dogs, and I can take a break at any time. I have a karate class on Mondays and Thursdays, during which I hand off work to one of my parents for just a bit. Your pets are always in good hands here! I believe in being careful with pets and that they should be comfortable with their environment. The best interactions come from mutual trust between pet and caretaker.

About: When I was around four, I started to go across the street and cat-sit for this empty-nest couple. They were older, and so they wanted to travel more. The lady owned two cats, a Birman and an Oriental Shorthair. The lady used to take them to cat shows, and they were her most prized possession. They had grandkids to see and wanted to explore as many different countries as they could. They used to say, "Maggie, you are so convenient, and I am glad that you are here so we can leave and do things that we love more often." My mom never once told me to go and do my job. I woke up and was ready to go see Bootsy and Bella. They moved when I was 16, and I was their sitter until the day they left. I realized that for people to do the things they loved, they needed an easy, stress-free, and affordable sitter for their animals. Anyway, I started a show kennel for my Italian Greyhounds because of her, and now this is my full-time gig. I run a full-time boarding and daycare facility at my house. I am open for boarding and daycare 7 days a week. I own show dogs, and so I am home training and working on my websites while the dogs have multiple areas and an outdoor fenced area to play. I work on my computer for 3-5 hours a day and play with and walk the dogs while I rotate in between that. I take lots of pictures during the day and have an instagram that I post them on. The dogs rotate among the kitchen, the basement, and the outdoor enclosure. All dogs have access to water 24/7. The outdoor enclosure has a roof, and I run a fan when it is hot, in accordance with USDA guidelines. If the weather is bad, I walk the dogs or just let them play together in the basement or kitchen.

About: I love animals and have always been blessed to be able to care for them forming special bonds by giving lots of love and care! I am usually home 24/7 five days a week minus a few errands and would love to take care of your pets when you need! I have a two story home with pet safety gates and will play with your pet, give them cuddles, walks and homemade treats if you approve:)
