About: I’ve taken care of pets as long as I can remember! I have learned a lot about pet care over the years, including what it takes to keep them healthy and what to do in cases of emergency. I take all I know and use it to try to create a better experience for all furry little dudes and dudettes! Pet care is already an everyday task for me. Getting the opportunity to take care of more furry little guys would fit right into my normal daily routine! I care for the animals around me like I would care for humans around me. If there’s anything unsafe, it will be handled immediately! Other than safety, I like to ensure the pets around me have adequate food, treats, exercise time, and affection.
“I am over the moon happy that I found Missy and John! I feel so comfortable knowing my fur baby is in their hands while I'm at work. I also love and appreciate all the sweet pics they send me as well as their updates each visit.”

About: We have a good sized backyard, fully fenced. My husband is a vet tech and can answer questions and give recommendations. I am almost always available due to being a stay at home mom, full-time. We can trim nails if dog is not aggressive while doing it for a small fee ($15). We are able to clean ears and give baths if needed. We do not allow pets on furniture. We try to go for a walk at least once a day or more. Due to having small kids, please no dogs that are not kid friendly. Will update you daily with photos and texts. Can't wait to play and walk your furry babies. On Facebook at Chens Critter Care I'm a stay at home mom of 2 kiddos (5 and 8yrs old). Both kids are very good with dogs. Husband is a veterinarian technician. We have a good sized Fenced backyard. We have no other pets on property. And we only house sit one pet family at a time.

About: Fun fact: every pet I’ve ever had died from old age. In other words, I’ll take good care of your pets. I currently have 3 dogs and a senior cat that I’ve had since high school! I work from home (most days) so I am with my pets all day! When I am away I can see those precious furries on camera! I have a fenced in yard, a park within walking distance and 3 dogs who are ready for your dog to walk, run, play and eat with!
“Sally is awesome. Prompt and really cares for my dog. Experienced sitter who knows the weather and what your dog can handle. I look forward to working with Sally during more work trips!”

“Fantastic dog walker who’s very comfortable around working dog breeds (hard to find!). Extremely reliable, excellent communication, punctual and honest! I love that she’s active in the AKC training clubs so she’s not only comfortable with solid obedience training but agility as well. This is key for our family to have a sitter who has more advanced experience than the typical rover dog walker. It adds a lot more peace of mind for consistent training and behavior expected with my dobie, even under the care of someone else when I am away. My Doberman is very comfortable which says a lot as she doesn’t connect with everyone so I am thrilled they click so well and she gets the wiggles when she sees her but also listens to her commands and has respect for Almu. I appreciate the tender care Almu has taken and no detail overlooked. I am a high maintence dog owner and Almu went well above and beyond! I’m going to be using her dog walking services long term. She even took care to take my dobie hiking in the rain so not a single potty break or exercise routine was missed. Very grateful!”

About: I have worked professionally with animals for years. I have experience in caring for animals with sensitive cases such as medical issues, high anxiety, previous abuse and more. I always provide a safe and loving environment for any pet in my care. I have many breaks throughout my day to visit and love on fur babies! I have a lot of experience with animals personally and professionally. I am trained in animal behavior and health. I am always sure to be very vigilant when it comes to watching anyone’s pets because I understand the risks of leaving an animal alone. I am able to quickly learn whether a pet is acting out of the ordinary and can check things such as their temperature and digestion habits to see if anything is out of normal range. I have also worked with several pets that experience high anxiety and have calm ways to manage those situations in a way that doesn't increase their stress level.

We're very comfortable handling larger and more powerful breeds as well as small dogs and puppies. We focus on making every dog feel calm, secure, and stress-free. Dogs in our care are treated as a family member. We follow each dog's routine closely and adjust the day based on their type of energy level, whether that means a more structured activity or a more relaxed setting. We have 5 wonderful neutered male dogs at home who love meeting new friends! For the safety and comfort of all dogs in our care we do require all visiting dogs to be spayed or neutered. This keeps the environment calm, safe and happy for everyone! All services provided are opened to dogs of all sizes that do well in a home environment. When booking boarding or doggy day-care, please bring: their regular food (pre-portioned if possible), medications (if needed), and optionally comfort items (bed, blanket, toy). 😊 🐾You'll receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you will always feel confident and safe while your dog is with us, we will stay connected throughout the stay. ⚠️ Important Notes: • only well-socialized, non-aggressive dogs (for safety reasons) • Dogs should be current on vaccinations for everyone's safety • Safety and proper management are always the top priority Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as we already care for multiple dogs at home. We follow a structured schedule for feeding, exercise, and supervision throughout the day. Our schedule allows me to provide consistent care during mornings, midday, and evenings, ensuring that each dog receives the attention and routine they’re used to. Safety is our top priority. We carefully follow each owner’s instructions and keep pets in a calm, secure, and safe environment. Dogs are always supervised, comfortable, and separated when needed to ensure a safe stay. We both pay close attention to behavior, surroundings, and any potential risks so every dog is well cared for at all times and stays safe. In a client’s home, we respect their space and maintain their pet’s normal routine to keep things consistent and comfortable. We also have a fully fenced yard for safe, supervised outdoor playtime. ⚠️ Both of us carefully manage introductions and group size to ensure a safe and controlled environment for every dog.
About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life, my own animals and family and friends. I will treat and love them like they are my own! I currently work full-time as a teacher, but I’m available on the weekends to love and care for your babies. I am available Friday through Sunday. I have a love for all animals and will do whatever is needed to take care of your pets just like you were there yourself.

About: Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved animals. I’ve had pets of every kind and worked on a farm as well. I have pet sat my whole life and frequently drop in for friends when they are out of town to make sure all is well with their cats. I currently have one elderly fur baby and a cat who thinks he’s a king. I would be honored to come love on your on your babies while you are working or out for the day. I go on walks everyday, so let me bring your fur child with me! I currently work full time until I can get enough clients to hopefully quit my job and be a stay at home mom. I currently work 7am-4pm, with a 1 hour lunch break taken whenever I want. I can come check on your lovies on my break and when I clock out after 4. I love afternoon walks and lunch break walks if time permits as well. I can come anytime on the weekends if needed. If this goes well, I will hopefully be available anytime. I would come in to your home and love on/play with your babies and build trust and connection (I can bring treats with your permission). We would run around outside and get all our energies out or go on a walk. We would end the session with snuggles and loves and lunch/dinner depending on the time. I’d make sure they have plenty of food and water before I left. My 2 year old will accompany me so if they like kids, that’s awesome too! He knows how to be very gentle with animals as we have some of our own, and honestly kind of just ignores them.
About: I have taken care of animals all over the world (military) love watching others with the same care I would expect for my own pets. I work from home so I am able to give your pet all day attention. I would love to be considered for watching them. Thank you. I have a fenced yard and two very sweet older female dogs. I also have two younger children (5 and 9). They are very good with animals.
About: I am a former experienced house sitter/dog sitter of four years for a single family, (as well as a few other clients/animals on the side 😁) did drop in visits once a day, 5 days a week! Stayed overnight if needed, longest stay for a client was one month! I thoroughly enjoy meeting new animals & playing with them & befriending them :) I work early mornings and am normally off around noon, so after my job is always a good time for walks or a potty break Provide fresh water & food, follow medication instructions, taking to groomer, potty breaks, play time, following specific feeding instructions, assess dog mood & communicate with owner of anything out of the ordinary
About: My parents always relied on me to take care of our dog when they would be gone for the day or go out of town. I also took care of my friends’ and families’ dogs when they were out of town. I have experience with puppies because my dog gave birth to 7 puppies when I was 13. I also have experience with giving medications. I always ensure the dogs I take care of have clean water and food before I leave. I also love to provide pictures of ur fur baby when we’re on a walk or playing. I’m working part-time which gives me time to show your dog some love, walk them, and play with them. I’m also going to school to be a vet tech. Since I am a traveling dog sitter, I won’t be caring for the dogs at my home. When I meet the owners of a dog (or dogs) I will discuss the details of the owners request for their particular dogs. I say this because many owners like their fur babies taken care of in different ways. My job is to simulate their care as much as possible.
About: Dog sitting is a hobby of mine, I have done this for roughly 8 years for friends & family, excited to extent my services to new clients. Pet care is a regular part of my routine, even with my full-time job from 7 to 4. In the mornings before work, I make sure to feed my pet, refresh their water, and take them out for a walk or bathroom break. After work, I spend quality time with them—whether it’s a longer walk, playtime, or just relaxing together. I’ve built pet care into my daily habits so their needs are always met reliably. In my home, I maintain a safe, pet-friendly environment. I have a fully fenced yard and a medium-sized dog door that allows pets to go outside for bathroom breaks or fresh air as needed, which helps them stay comfortable and active throughout the day. I follow a consistent routine that includes feeding, exercise, playtime, and affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect their routine and instructions closely. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, get enough exercise, and feel safe in their environment. I pay attention to details like cleaning up after them, refreshing water, and keeping their living space tidy and secure. About: I grew up with pets my whole life but have loved on my own dog for 11 years. I’ve helped neighbors with their pets and would like to expand by helping others while out walking with my kids. I’m a part time RN. When I’m not working, I enjoy being active and outside with my family. I’d be happy to couple the care of pets into my daily routine of already being outside walking. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
