I'm very reliable, making sure to be on time and give each pet the attention they need. You can trust me to take great care of your pets. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at my dad’s family-owned business, which gives me a very flexible schedule. If I have a walk or drop-in scheduled during those hours, I’m usually able to leave work to take care of your pet and return afterward. I’m also completely free after 1 p.m. and on weekends. I’m even able to bring dogs to work with me if you’re comfortable with it and your dog does well in that environment. This gives me the flexibility to accommodate different schedules and means your pet doesn’t necessarily have to be left alone just because I’m at work. I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently have two of my own, so caring for pets is already a normal part of my everyday routine. About: I've been caring for animals since I was able to. When my family was away, I cared for five dogs, one cat, two guinea pigs, and a fish. I've also looked after goats and chickens. I have a full-time job, but I will make time for your furry friend. I currently work a full time job so as long as your fur baby will be okay for a few hours during the days/times i am scheduled to work, i will still have plenty of time to dedicate to their care while you are gone. If your dog needs 24 hour care, I will spend the time with them and take pictures to show you how your fur babies are doing. I can also do a meet and greet with you and your fur babies to see if we get along.

The house was in very good shape when she left; she "left no footprints" as she promised. Even more important to us, she obviously too good, loving care of our cats. She frequently sent us pictures of our babies, one recurring one was with our "old man" sitting contentedly on her lap. He doesn't do that for just anyone, so that said a lot of positive things about Joyce. All in all, she did all we could have asked for. About: I have had the privilege of always having dogs. For me, there’s no greater joy! I was actually nicknamed at a young age “the dog whisperer” and I promise you it fits! I regard a dog’s care and routine with the utmost respect. I see the value in both physical and mental stimulation for your dog. Two of my own dogs have disabilities, one who is deaf and has seizures and one who had a leg amputated due to cancer (but he’s in remission and he’s loving life as a tripod!). I take safety very seriously! I do not allow on leash greetings (unless you let me know who your pup’s neighborhood friends are and then I’m happy to let them say hi). I carry pet corrector in case an off leash dog approaches. I am very observant to dog behaviors and body language and I will quickly become in tune with your dog. I love that she’s active in the AKC training clubs so she’s not only comfortable with solid obedience training but agility as well. This is key for our family to have a sitter who has more advanced experience than the typical rover dog walker. It adds a lot more peace of mind for consistent training and behavior expected with my dobie, even under the care of someone else when I am away. My Doberman is very comfortable which says a lot as she doesn’t connect with everyone so I am thrilled they click so well and she gets the wiggles when she sees her but also listens to her commands and has respect for Almu. I appreciate the tender care Almu has taken and no detail overlooked. I am a high maintence dog owner and Almu went well above and beyond! I’m going to be using her dog walking services long term. She even took care to take my dobie hiking in the rain so not a single potty break or exercise routine was missed. Very grateful!”

We have no other pets on property. And we only house sit one pet family at a time.
About: I have taken care of plenty of my neighborhood dogs. I’ve had dogs most of my life and have walked and played with them throughout my life. I spend my off days at Elmore and Autauga Humane walking and taking care of the dogs within the kennels. I am attending my undergrad in biology with a pre-vet emphasis to then go to grad school to become a vet! Your loved pups are my future and i’m looking forward to spoiling them! Currently just enrolled in college in the mornings monday through thursday. I also make weekly visits to the local humane shelters. Open to your availability i can be flexible! I treat all pets with love and care as if they are your own children. These dogs are your family and i intend to treat them as my own!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every size, shape, and breed since I was roughly 8. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I’m very reasonably priced, and as a veterinary technician of 5+ years and a graduate of Jefferson State’s Veterinary Technology program, I have the specialized training for giving medications and what to do should an emergency arise! I am familiar with emergency medicine and have worked in an ER setting for almost a year. I’m currently taking a break from veterinary medicine to study for my state licensing exam to become a licensed veterinary technician! This has freed my schedule up to provide more care for pets! My weekends are considerably more free but I can provide morning or afternoon/evening drop ins! I have a large yard that is completely fenced! I crate my own pets when I am not home so I am happy to stop in and let your crated pets out for potty breaks! I adhere to feeding/bathroom/medication schedules to a T.
About: I lost my two dogs back to back within the past few years and my heart is empty but not ready to get a new dog. I’m retired from the Air Force and a stay ant home mom and have lots of time to care for pets . I’m very active and absolutely love dogs and understand the crucial importance of exercise and activity to their health. Available currently weekends and evenings only since I work full time. I am planning on retiring next year at which time I will be ready to try this full time. About: I've been caring for animals since I was able to. When my family was away, I cared for five dogs, one cat, two guinea pigs, and a fish. I've also looked after goats and chickens. I have a full-time job, but I will make time for your furry friend. I currently work a full time job so as long as your fur baby will be okay for a few hours during the days/times i am scheduled to work, i will still have plenty of time to dedicate to their care while you are gone. If your dog needs 24 hour care, I will spend the time with them and take pictures to show you how your fur babies are doing. I can also do a meet and greet with you and your fur babies to see if we get along.
