About: I worked at a pet boarding facility in Texas throughout high school, where I gained experience caring for pets and administering medications when needed. Alongside that, I started my own pet sitting business, which I continued through college. Now that I’ve relocated to North Carolina, I thought I’d give Rover a try! During the summer, I have open availability, and during the school year, I’m available outside of my class times. I also work remotely, so I can work from anywhere, making it easy to fit pet care into my daily schedule. I only offer pet care in my client’s home to help keep pets comfortable in their familiar environment. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely to maintain their usual routine, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, or administering medication. About: I come from a farm where I have cared for over 50 different animals with my families. We have cared for elderly dogs, dogs with serious health complications and dogs of high energy levels. I have cared for dogs of all sizes and have been pet sitting for 15 years. I work a full time job but there are days when my flexibility to work from home is greater. I also can more easily board your pet than visit. Your pet is treated like those I have called my own. I will follow your care instructions and make sure your pet is engaged throughout the day.
About: I've always loved animals, and several dogs have "owned" me over the years. I lost my bestest girl about 2 years ago and I still mourn her. Now that I'm retiring, I can't think of a better way to spend my time than helping care for your furry family members. I have experience with senior dogs, as well as giving meds. I've watched pets for friends and family for years. I'm currently retired and only working for a few hours on Tuesdays - and am home by 1:00 on Tuesdays, so I'm able to give long walks and snuggles. I'm able to stay in your home any day of the week. I live alone so your pet/s will have all my attention. I live in an apartment and will walk your pup several times a day with at least one long (@2 miles) walk if weather and their health allows. I allow pets on the furniture and on the bed if they are used to that. I'm happy to send update pics during the day. I admit that I have lots for my favorite pet friends, but I don't often do selfies, so the pics on here show pets that I've cared for doing activities, but don't include me.

About: I have taken care of my own animals and those of others since I was very young. I have been the go-to caretaker for many family members and friends for years, and I love the responsibility of caring for their prized pets. About: Hi! My name is Merrily, and I am a student at UNC! I have been an animal lover my whole life, growing up with two dogs and a cat! My dogs were a sweet boxer and a lively pug, so I have experience with both big and small dogs! I especially loved to take my boxer on long walks and runs, and cuddled and played with my pug. From taking care of my dogs throughout teenage hood, I gained valuable experience with senior care, administering oral and topical medication daily, dental care, bathes, and basic grooming. About: Between us, we have raised 4 dogs, trained 3 of them from when they were puppies, and cared for over a dozen. We also have raised an orange cat who is as well-trained as a cat can be. We are a pair of teachers on summer break, so we have some flexibility during the day for dog walking or drop-in visits. We can do weekdays and weekends.
