“Kjersten did a fantastic job watching our dog while we were on vacation. It was evident how much she cared about Avery’s comfort and happiness while we were away. The updates while we were gone were also super nice. Avery probably had just as much fun during our vacation as we did! We’ll definitely be asking Kjersten to watch her again.”

About: I’ve been around and taken care of animals all my life especially dogs! I couldn’t imagine my life without them! They truly are a part of the family! I work remotely and am home day and night unless I’m transporting my kids to activities or events. This makes for a very flexible schedule to take care of pets! I have a fenced yard with plenty of space for running and playing. I have 3 dogs to help keep your pet company! I also have dog beds for resting and a foldable crate stored in case it’s needed.

About: I have been in love with animals since I was a young child. Growing up I always had the responsibility of taking care of our dogs and cats. I currently own a dog and a cat that mean the world to me. If I could spend all day playing with pets I would! I am available in the morning before I start work - before 8:30. I am also available after 3 most days. My work schedule is very flexible so I may be able to work around different times if we speak in advance. I love all sizes and breeds of both cats and dogs. I’d love to know any special needs/likes/dislikes to care for your pet. I’d love to start spoiling your fur baby today!

About: My beloved 11 year old English bulldog passed away from cancer 2 years ago and I miss her every day. The one thing holding me back from getting another dog is the freedom to travel or do things spur of the moment and be attached to a pet. when I heard about rover I thought this would be a great opportunity to get my dog fix and give pet owners peace of mind with welcoming there pet into my home like it is there own home. I’m very experienced with English bulldogs and the special requirements with temperature and needs. I am also experienced with other breeds as well. Routine for a dog is very important so feeding, bathroom and walks that match there regular routine is paramount. I take direct request from the pet owners as far as how they want there dog taken care of. If they prefer the dog can have free rein of my house and can lay on the furniture if the owner so desires. (I have sheets to cover the furniture if you fear shedding) Many dogs find comfort and safe space in a crate and I have no issue with allowing that as well. I have no pets in my home so dogs that prefer being in a single pet home will do well with me. I live fairly close to a dog park so exercise and activity will not be a problem.

About: I’ve had animals since I could remember growing up. I grew up with two cats and two dogs. Currently I have one cat but I miss taking doggos for their walks (my husband is allergic to dogs). I am currently a nurse and have most evenings available for walks. It is nice to get out after a long day in the operating room for a walk and I would love a dog companion to walk with! I have a split level home. Unfortunately with my husband having dog allergies, I wouldn’t be able to crate at my house. But I would love to visit yours for pet visits, snuggles and love.

“Hannah and I worked together a few years back. We use to do farm work, clean barns, ride horses, etc. for a remote vet clinic. She was always good with the dogs and cats, giving oral medications, assisting/administering shot medications, bathing and assisting in grooming the dogs. She is very nice and loving towards all animals!”

About: I am always pet sitting for friends…I can’t remember a holiday that I wasn’t going over and walking a dog, feeding a cat, or checking in a fish (even watering plants). I am super trustworthy and honestly, just find animals super relaxing and therapeutic!🫶 Weekends I am completely free! During the week I am a teacher at a middle school so am available after 3:30. I also love a morning walk, so I’d happily stop by in the mornings as well I will happily check in on your pets and ensure they’re well walked and fed and given lots of love! I also can spend the night if needed
