Grew up walking all my neighbors dogs. I trained my family dog and owned my own rabbitry, raising rabbits for 5yrs. I've owned and cared for pets anywhere from lizards and frogs to ducklings, mice, and guinea pigs to cats, dogs, and rabbits. My husband and I now own a cat. We house sit for family and friends and care for others cats and dogs. We have a huge heart for animals both young and old. My husband and I tag team pet care. He has a very flexible schedule that allows him to work from home throughout parts of the week. I have an early work schedule that allows me to go into work early and get home earlier in the afternoon. My husband will typically get into work between 10am and noon (if he's not working from home) and I'll usually get home around 3pm. However, this can be flexible and we communicate closely to be sure that we minimize the amount of time that the pet is left alone. We live in a Victorian styled home with about 3200 square ft inside with an outdoor runner and leash on a quarter acre. We are great communicators and always put the requests of the home/pet owner first. We want to uphold the needs of the pets and owners and ensure high quality care and love for the pet(s). We are home/pet owners and want to treat those alike the way we would want to be treated.

We love animals and want to give them the best care and love they deserve. We have an outdoor runner for dogs but also have a very friendly neighborhood for nice comfortable walks or runs. We also have a decent sized home that gives the pets plenty of space to move around freely. We recently had a baby, so there is a baby in the house that is on the move. Dogs must be good around kids.

Was my first time using Rover and Kjersten and it went smoothly! Kjersten did a great job checking in our cat! There was great communication and she took pictures as well. Would definitely use her again!
Very welcoming! Did such a great job with our Bill. They walked him, played with him, and more. I received pictures throughout his stay, and couldn’t be happier with how they did with my special guy. 🐾 ♥️
Nic and Kjersten’s home is our “kids” home away from home. I almost get sad when they are barking and excited when they know they are going to visit Nic and Kjersten - but then I realize I don’t have to worry about them being happy and safe. Such a gift. 10/10 happy with this loving home and caring couple.

Oh my gosh! Kiersten and Nicholas are just the best! They were on time, reliable, and treated our girls like their own pups. I'm so grateful they were there for us!
We just recently moved to Rochester and had to find someone to watch our dog Butkus. We were lucky to find Kiersten and Nicholas they did a wonderful job looking after Butkus. We received daily photos and updates. Will definitely use them again.

Harmonogram
We are most available for Thursday evenings through Mondays, since my husband doesn't work Fridays and we are most flexible these days. We want to be home as much as possible to give your pets the care and attention they need.
