“She was very communicative and took so many pictures of my babyyy💓”

About: I grew up dog-sitting for friends and family members! I also have two kitties at home. I’m excited to help watch your pets for you! I’m currently a doctoral student at WVU; I have a pretty flexible schedule this summer! I’m available weekends and evenings anytime. I’m available weekdays in the early mornings and evenings and during business hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. You can trust that I’m careful and in the lookout for all of the usual safety hazards (e.g., making sure pets don’t escape when I open the door, preventing cord or plant chewing) and that I’ll notify you immediately if anything seems off or if there are medical concerns!

About: My family always had animals growing up, but my pet sitting journey began in high school when I started pet sitting for family members and friends, and later expanded to include clients when I moved to Morgantown, WV in 2019. Over the years, I've cared for many animals, including cats, dogs, rabbits, kitties, and senior dogs/cats that require special attention with strict medication routines. I pride myself on my attention to detail and treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. Whether it's administering medication, ensuring they get enough exercise, or simply providing companionship and cuddles, I prioritize the well-being and happiness of each animal I watch over. Your pet's comfort and safety are my top priorities! I am currently working part-time and in graduate school, but I still have flexibility and time within my schedule to spend time with your beloved babies! :) I have a friendly 1 year old Australian shepherd and 2 docile cats. They get along with other animals, so your pet won't get bored and will have playmates! I also have a large crate if your pet is crate trained. I live right next to the rail trail as well as in a safe neighborhood for long walks, if they’re up for it! I also have a large fenced in backyard to get their energy out.

“Emily is great! Reliable and good communicator. Will book again. Thanks!”

About: I've been taking care of pets for the past three years - friends, family, and clients have trusted me to care for and keep their pets safe. I've been working with Wag! throughout that time and recently moved so i’m starting here as well. I've done over 400 walks with Wag! including sittings and boardings with many repeat clients and happy pups. I'm comfortable working with animals big and small, and those who may have behavioral or medical problems. I currently work at Pampered 4 Paws in Morgantown doing pet boarding and daycare so i’m learning new things everyday about giving the best care possible! While working, i’m saving up to go to school for animal behavior with the goal of becoming a dog trainer in the future! I currently work part time with a flexible schedule and can change my availability as needed. I have a two person home with my husband who can also help out (for boarding in my personal home) if I had to leave for an emergency I live in a large house with an unfenced backyard and multiple safe areas set up for pet care. I have two cats and one dog in the home

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, having grown up with them my whole life, from senior dogs to playful puppies as young as 3 months old. I’m passionate about both cats and dogs and love taking them on runs or treating them to a sweet snack. Whether it's a leisurely walk or an active outing, I’m dedicated to providing fun, loving care for every pet I sit! I have classes until 3 PM most days, but I’m flexible and can adjust my schedule to accommodate pet care in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I’m committed to providing reliable and loving care for your pets whenever you need me! I offer pet care primarily in my client’s home, as I prefer the pets to stay in their familiar environment. I have a fenced-in backyard, but since I live on a busier street, I find it’s often better for pets to be in a quieter, more comfortable space. If your pet is friendly, I also have a dog who loves to play and is very sweet. My home is safe, but for senior dogs, there are a few stairs, which I can work around to ensure their comfort. I’m flexible and always prioritize your pet’s safety and happiness!

About: I've spent several years caring for pets of all kinds, from dogs and cats to rabbits and birds. I know how to handle their needs, whether it's feeding, walking, grooming, or just giving them lots of love and attention. I've also learned to recognize their behaviors and moods, so I can provide the best care possible. I will send pictures so you know they're safe and happy while in my care. I’m currently working part-time. I am available Saturday-Tuesday for pet sitting, walking, play-dates from 7am-11pm. I’m here for whatever you and your beloved pets may need. When caring for pets in my home or a client's home, I follow a structured approach based on the specific needs of the pets. Here’s how I do it: 1. Routine: I establish a daily routine that includes feeding times, walks, playtime, and rest periods to keep the pets comfortable and secure. 2. Feeding: I ensure pets are fed according to their dietary requirements, whether it's dry food, wet food, or special diets. I always check for any allergies or specific instructions from the pet owner. 3. Exercise: For dogs, I take them for regular walks and play sessions to keep them active and engaged. 4. Grooming: I perform basic grooming tasks like brushing & bathing as needed. 5. Health Monitoring: I keep an eye on the pets for any signs of illness or distress and make sure they take any medications if required. 6. Safe Environment: I create a safe space by removing any hazards and ensuring that the pets have a comfortable area to relax. 7. Socialization: I spend quality time with the pets to keep them socialized and happy, providing companionship and affection. I also have 2 dogs of my own to keep yours company! 8. Communication: I maintain open communication with pet owners, providing updates and photos to reassure them that their pets are happy and well-cared for. This approach ensures that pets feel loved and secure, whether they're in my home or theirs!

About: There's nothing more wonderful than the love of a dog! I had previously primarily used Rover to find quality sitters and now my schedule is allowing me to return the favor. I'm a nurse and currently working on my Doctorate, so much of this time during this period in my schooling is spent studying from home, allowing me a very flexible schedule. From experiences seeking out sitters for my own dog, I know it is incredibly important (and sometimes challenging) to find someone trustworthy and reliable when life gets busy. I grew up with a number of dogs in our house and have translated that love over the last decade into dedicated involvement with foster/rescue organizations. I have experience caring for all dogs, from litters of new puppies to senior dogs and those with special needs. Some dogs I've cared for are experiencing their first taste of a home, and it couldn't be more rewarding to make them feel safe and loved while working on leash skills, potty training, baths, etc. I am happy to accommodate you and your pet's preferences--I understand the importance of routine, consistency, and willingness to accommodate a pup's specific needs My schedule is very flexible during the day allowing for frequent potty breaks, multiple walks, park trips, and plenty of attention/playtime. My senior girl Lilo loves having visitors, and we are happy to welcome another dog into our home!

About: I have been taking care of dogs for my entire life! It all started when I was a child and my family adopted dogs as pets. I have extensive experience in walking, feeding, loving, and taking care of dogs! I even have a dog of my own and frequently watch my friends' dogs when they need a sitter! I work full-time over the summer until the Fall semester kicks off at WVU, so early morning and late evening/night walks will be best! I can also walk on the weekends if requested. I live in an apartment so I walk my dog everywhere, and can walk yours too! My dog and two cats love company so if I needed to keep your pup at my place, it would be no problem!

About: I love animals and spoiling them is my game! I have 3 spoiled dogs. I have had my own personal animals for as long as I can remember. Each pet I look after is treated as my own. Each pet I look after is treated as my own. I'm working part-time at home. I have time for play, walks, and maybe just a fun ride for a pup cup. I have a small fenced in yard for the dogs. I have 3 friendly dogs, 2 small (8 lbs) /1 med (25 lbs). I have crates of different sizes, harnesses and leads, and collars if needed.

About: I've taken care of friend's pets and petting sitting while they were away, feeding them, bathing them when needed, giving them medication if needed. I've also worked at a kennel, providing such services for animals. I don't currently work, so pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine 24/7. I'm available all the time if anyone needs a pet sitter or walker. I will be taking care of a client's pet within their homes. Taking in pets within my home will vary if the client's pets get along with my two dogs.

About: I have had animals all my life ranging from horses, dogs, and cats. I have raised Siberian Huskies so have experience with high energy breeds and puppies and have rehabilited a lot of abused animals. I have four dogs currently and a few horses. Your animals will be happy and safe with me. I come with a law enforcement background so your pets will be protected and safe with me and you can have a trust worthy person so you can have peace of mind while you are away. I'm currently on leave from work and recovering so looking for something to occupy my time. I love animals and animals are already a part of my daily routine. I will follow all directions you give me cause you know your pet best. Not only will I do just the basic care but I will also give your pet some companionship and love while you are away.
