About: With over 25 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and farm animals, I bring a unique blend of professionalism, intuition, and grounded presence to every animal I care for. My background in law enforcement, behavioral observation, and trauma-informed support makes me especially skilled with animals who are anxious, reactive, or sensitive. I’ve worked with everything from puppies to senior pets, high-energy working breeds to misunderstood rescues, and multi-pet households that require structure and reliability. I’m confident with medication administration, basic training follow-through, and reading body language to prevent issues before they start. What sets me apart? 🐾 Veteran-level experience—not a hobbyist or casual sitter 🐾 Criminal justice & security background—you can trust your home and animals are safe 🐾 Farm-capable—comfortable caring for chickens, goats, donkeys, horses, and more 🐾 Trauma-aware—I understand how to approach fearful or reactive animals with calm authority 🐾 Energetically grounded—I leave your pets emotionally balanced, not just fed Whether you're gone for a day or several weeks, I ensure your animals are cared for with the same diligence and loyalty I give my own. Additional Animal & Farm Care Pricing Have animals that aren’t listed on Rover? No problem—I also care for chickens, goats, donkeys, horses, and more. I’ve worked in law enforcement, security, and animal care for over a decade, so your home and animals will always be treated with professionalism and respect. If you’d like to add non-traditional animals to your booking, just message me and I’ll provide a custom quote based on care needs, travel, and time commitment. Here’s a general guide: 🐓 Chickens (basic flock care): $10–15/day 🐐 Goats or Sheep: $15–20/day 🐴 Horses – Basic Feed & Turnout: $35/day 🐴 Horses – Full Care (feed, turnout, stall, meds): $70/day 🦆 Other Farm Animals: Case-by-case, starting at $10/day Deluxe walk- at a park, forest, or trails- $35 I do work 3-11 but have the abilitiy to work from home. So as long as you have wifi I'm available. I can still give your pet the care they need. Because sameday requests require me to rearrange my schedule quickly, a $20 last minute surcharge is added to all bookings made within 24 hours of service. Thank you for understanding! My service radius is 25 miles from my home in Smithfield, Pa. Anything beyond that includes a distance surcharge of .75 cents a mile round trip after the 25 miles are hit, and same-day requests may not be available for extended distances. This excludes boarding pick-ups which a pick up fee is already listen or house sitting. This only includes drop ins or walks. Custom quote for 5+ animals or complex care needs I currently can care for your pet pretty much any day. I have a flexible schedule at the moment so I can accomadate around most people's schedules. I will follow all directions you give me cause you know your pet best. Not only will I do just the basic care but I will also give your pet some companionship and love while you are away.

About: I have been pet-sitting since I was around 9/10. I have experience sitting with all sorts of animals and have never met one I didn't love. My boyfriend's family breeds Yorkies, so I have experience working with dogs as young as fresh out and as old as the end. I am experienced with dogs of all temperaments, ages, and sizes. I am currently available 24/7 on the weekends. Monday and Friday, I am unavailable from 10-1, but free the rest of the day. I have plenty of time for all sorts of furry friends. I currently live with two kittens who are accustomed to dogs, but they can be confined to their room if there is concern. I do not have a yard where I am, but I do have plenty of safe walking areas around me for exercise and pottying. I am respectful and resourceful when doing overnights in your home, and I will make sure your pet feels comfortable in either your home or mine.

I have experience from puppies to seniors that need a little extra care and patience. I’m currently a full time college student at Fairmont state and working part time on the weekends at WVU Medicine Golisano Children’s. About: I often volunteer at the SPCA to spend more time with animals. I love animals, and it is a great take away to spend time with a furry friend amidst all of life’s chaos. Im currently a full time student, but I make time in between classes and at night for work! Overnight stops are fine, as long as I have time to go to class in the morning! I have grown up with pets my entire life, and know how important it is to give them a great quality of life. I will make sure all the pets needs are met, and if I have free time I would love to play with them!

About: I’ve been around animals since I could walk. Taking care of them was always part of the daily routine in my house. About five years ago I started fostering with a service dog training organization here in Morgantown and have helped train lots of their dogs. I also work with a behavioral consulting company here in the area and have worked with a variety of different breeds and sizes of dogs. Even some cats too! My goal is to create a positive relationship with your pets and keep them safe and happy while having fun! With what I do for work I can create my own schedule during the days. This means I can plan time out of my day to make sure the pets in my care get the proper mental and physical enrichment that they need. I’m also very active so the dogs that need more energy used on our walks will get that. And I’m not opposed to sitting on the couch with our couch potatoes as well and giving some love. I have been trained in reading dog body language for many years now. With permission, I always bring yummy snacks and fun toys for the pups to show I am fun and trustworthy in their eyes. If need be, I can also crate your pets when I leave if that is where they need to go. I also always go outside with your pets if there is a fenced in backyard to be able to monitor them at all times.

Gem was wonderful! She kept me updated, sent photos, and was very flexible while stopping by to walk my pups. Since Ivy can be a little unsure at first, she took the time to walk them separately, taking one out and then coming back for the other. Once Ivy warmed up, she was happy and comfortable. I really appreciated Gem’s patience and care. I will definitely be reaching out to her again!

About: This is something I truly enjoy. I’m very confident in the animal care that I partake in. I have experience in canines, feline, horses, birds, and many more! I have plenty of time in the morning. I’m an early morning person so your pet would get fed and exercised first thing in the morning and night before I go to sleep! I have time around lunch time too if needed. Personally, I would not bring animals home out of respect of my roommates. If I was responsible for a dog for 6 hours we would simply make the day out of it. Go to the park, maybe hike, walk around, depending on the circumstances of course.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of every size and personality for over 10 years. From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, I make sure each dog feels safe, loved, and happy in my care. I have experience with walking, feeding, bathing, giving oral medications, and keeping routines consistent so dogs feel comfortable while their owners are away. About: Animals have always been a passion of mine. I would most definitely take care of your dog or cat as if it were my own. Ive taken care of dogs with disabilities for example my mom’s shih tzu has a bad back and cant walk well. And ive taken care of large breeds such as great danes and golden doodles. I love animals i think they are so much fun to be around and their spirit just leaves you so happy. I have 3 dogs and 2 reptiles in the home. But on top of being good with animals i also am excellent with people i have been a manager trainer. And spokesperson for many of my jobs. I look forward to getting time to spend with your furry friend in the hopefully near future. I work a full time job as a caregiver for seniors but it's a standard 9-5 job so I am only gone 8 hours at a time. And home when I am off I don't go out much. I have a fenced in yard and 3 dogs and 2 reptiles. Everyone is friendly and all our own dogs are crated if not home.

About: What sets me apart is my experience, reliability, and genuine love for dogs. I’m a 21-year-old exercise physiology student who loves being active and outdoors—walking dogs is the perfect combo! I’ve dog sat and walked for many families and have two Australian Shepherds of my own, Georgia and Ruby, who I miss dearly while at school. I’ve also volunteered with hospice patients and babysat my whole life, so I’m comfortable with responsibility and care. Whether your dog is playful, shy, young, or senior—I’ll treat them like family! Pet care fits perfectly into my weekly routine! I’m a senior at WVU with a flexible internship and classes only a few days a week. I’m available Tuesday and Thursday after 11, Wednesdays until 3, Fridays until 2, and weekends until 3. I love being outside and staying active, so walking and caring for dogs is something I truly enjoy and easily make time for in my schedule. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I treat them like family. I always prioritize their routine, comfort, and safety—whether that means sticking to their feeding schedule, giving them plenty of outdoor time, or just being a calming presence. I make sure they get lots of love, attention, and exercise, especially since I enjoy being active myself. I also keep pet parents updated with photos and messages so they know their furry friend is in good hands!
