I’ve spent years sitting and walking dogs for friends and family, so I definitely know every dog has their own personality and am happy to cater to them and take whatever time is needed to make them the most comfortable! Growing up there were always 3+ dogs in the house including puppies, seniors, and dogs with disabilities, so I’m equipped to handle all stages of life and different needs! I am patient, understanding, experienced, and ready to give your dog the most loving care! As a student with a part-time job my schedule is pretty flexible! For dogs, that means consistent walks, potty break, and feedings that match their normal schedule. For cats, regular feeding times, litter maintenance, and plenty of attention if they prefer it! Since my shifts change week to week, I will always confirm availability ahead of time and communicate about timing! Your pets safety is my top priority, in your home or mine! I live in an apartment, so I’m mindful about creating a secure, calm place, free of hazardous foods or items. I treat every pet in my care with the same level of attention I’d want for my own, so you can feel confident your dog or cat is in a safe and comfortable environment.

About: I have been pet-sitting since I was around 9/10. I have experience sitting with all sorts of animals and have never met one I didn't love. My boyfriend's family breeds Yorkies, so I have experience working with dogs as young as fresh out and as old as the end. I am experienced with dogs of all temperaments, ages, and sizes. About: I will care for any type of animal, whether it’s puppies or senior dogs or cats. I am also on the pre-vet track in college, along with participating in clubs like wildlife and vet. In college I don't get the opportunity to see many pets, at home I have a gecko I care for when I'm there, and over breaks I tend to pet sit family or family friends. So while pet care is not in my daily life I have experience caring for pets over many years. Getting a routine right matters a lot to me. I ask lots of questions upfront and pay close attention to the small stuff: think feeding times, meds, favorite routes, comfort items, quirks, fears, or behaviors, because those details are what make a dog feel secure. I'd rather over-communicate than guess. I lived with and cared for a reactive dog for 13 years, so I know firsthand what it takes to help an anxious dog feel safe, and how to prevent conflict in the first place. All my dogs have been rescues, and I have a soft spot for dogs who need extra patience to warm up. I'm not a certified trainer, but I've spent years learning dog training, body language, and enrichment, and every interaction is rooted in positive reinforcement. I will require a meet and greet with your pet in advance of the first booking so they can become familiar with me, and so I can become familiar with their routine and needs. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility to be present for your dog, whether that's extra walks, playtime, or just being around for company, and I'm happy to talk through what kind of availability works best for your pet! I work from home which allows me the flexibility to prioritize pet care in a way I wouldn’t be able to with a traditional office. This gives me the ability to keep anxious dogs company, breaks for play time, medication, cuddles or walks when they are needed, not when they can be fit in. I create a calm, secure environment where pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether in my home or theirs, I work on building trust by moving at each pet’s pace and honoring their boundaries. Safety is always my top priority, I supervise pets closely, follow all instructions carefully, and adapt to their unique needs. I keep spaces clean, hazard-free, and ensure pets have fresh water, proper food, and quiet resting spots. For reactive or anxious pets, I use gentle, low stress handling & positive reinforcement or redirecting to help them feel calm and supported. About: I regularly walk many dogs (M-F), and have done lots of overnight stays with different furry friends as well! Additionally, I have taken care of animals the families I’ve babysat for for over the last ten years. Last summer, I lived with a family who had a dog and spent a lot of time house sitting and dog sitting in addition to the babysitting I was doing. I fed the dog most days and took him outside to play. I am a runner so if your dogs would benefit from going on runs with me, I’m happy to take them as long as there’s a safe area nearby your home (I am comfortable bringing dogs in my car if needed). If your dog is not a runner, no worries! I’m happy to take them on walks or let them play in your yard. My work schedule is different week to week, but I am available for overnight pet/house sitting any time. I work out a lot and love running so I am happy to take dogs with me on walks or runs. I can’t host pets at my apartment complex, but it is my priority to take great care of not only your pets but also your home and living space. If your animal likes attention, I will make sure to give it to them, and if they are active I will take them out if there is a safe space to do so. I will keep them on the usual schedule that you keep for them to make sure they don’t get anxious or fall out of your typical routine. I will always leave the space cleaner than I found it to relieve any stress that could come with returning home.

About: I have been an avid animal-lover and caretaker since the age of 10. I spent my youth volunteering for animal shelters, fostering dogs, and taking my own pups to obedience and agility classes. I have worked on farms with livestock and assisted my sister with her dog-grooming clients. I have cared for a number of senior dogs and cats and have administered various medications. I am eager to work with pets of any age, though, and I have experience caring for fish, rodents, cats, dogs, horses, cows, chickens, and other birds.
