Erica took her time with Leo, doing a meet and greet and test walk before and was patient in allowing him to gain trust in her. Erica is very reliable, coming at the scheduled time each day and even willing to make last minute adjustments when needed. About: Animal Care Technician with extensive experience with dogs, cats and rodents. Cannot train but am trained on proper handling, walking and administering oral medication. 19 years of experience with dogs from pup to elder (including dogs with medical issues) and 5 years experience with cats from kitten to elder (including cats with medical issues). I am currently not working and have a flexible schedule for anyone looking for booking! I will not be allowing boading or doggy day care at this time due to remodeling but I am willing to house sit, do scheduled drop in's and dog walking. My current schedule includes every day except for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings due to current client bookings. I am great at reading animals and understanding the different personalities and quirks they each have so I can provide them with the best care that works for them 🧐 Every animal is different but they all deserve our best! I have a flexible schedule and my own car that allows me to be an adaptive and on call care giver. I don't mind late bookings or cancelations as I understand that things come up. I am new to rover and still figuring out what works best but am always willing to work with clients on what works best for them and their pets. Animals are my first priority but I also believe homes and personal spaces are sacred and I will always treat them with respect and attention. All animals are different so its important to use to always be aware of anything potentially unsafe. Our home is for animals first and there is nowhere they aren't allowed although animal guests and clients are always fully supervised to make sure they are safe and comfortable. Our home is very easy going and has a lot of space for different needs and comforts. In your home, I will defer to your personal preferences always.

About: I have worked in the veterinary field for about 3 years. I went to school and became a Certified Veterinary Assistant. I am also Pet CPR Certifed. I have my own pet/house sitting business and offer feline grooming! I work full time but am able to pet sit every night, on weekends and do checks on pets during the day, sometimes multiple times a day. Your pets will get lots of play time, go on walks, and get lots of attention. I do like to relax with them and just hang out as well, depending on the pet.

About: I grew up with both dogs, cats and rabbits. I’ve cared for various other mammals throughout my life. I have experience with senior and sick animals as well. I have house sat for many neighbors and their various pets over the years. I currently work a very flexible job from home which takes up less than 20 hours a week so I have plenty time to spend with your pets. About: I am a service dog handler for the past 7 years. I have been training and caring for dogs for over 10 years. I'm the go to person in my friends and family for training and care advice of animals big and small. I have owned and cared for everything from small snakes to rodents and horses. I have worked as a dog trainer, a horse trainer, a groom, and I have worked on dairy farms since I was 14. Every morning starts out with letting the dogs out and farm chores. Followed by breakfast for the dogs. After breakfast we do 30 minutes of rest in kennels while I feed the family. The rest of the day is spent with enrichment toys and puzzle games. Training is spaced out throughtout the day in 10-15 minute sessions. At 8pm the dogs are let out on last time then kennel and dinner time for the night. Our dogs are friendly and out going. We live in a very rural area on 81 acres of hiking trails and farm land to explore. The dogs are always watched when outside. We do have a wireless fence system for dogs that are trained on the e collar and long lines for dogs that are not off leash trained. We have experience crate and rotating dogs with aggression/reactivity problems. I have rehabilitated and socialized dogs with traumatic past.

About: I have been taking care of animals for friends and family since I was a teenager and have always loved it! I am able to give insulin to dogs or cats as well as other medications! I am well versed in dogs of all ages as well as temperaments. I am in the process of learning grooming so can do basic grooms, not currently taking full grooms. I worked for a pet care business for well over a year, so have experience with multiple environments and circumstances! I currently work full time but I have an hour long lunch break and availability before and after work, as well as weekends! My mother takes care of my pets when I’m not home so it’s nice to get out and help other pet owners. I have lots of experience with all types of animals so I am comfortable with almost anything. About: I’ve had pets all my life – cats and dogs. I can’t imagine having a home without animals. Currently, I have 2 very loving German Shepherds and a cat. I’ve used Rover for years to find sitters for my own pets and now that I’m retired I’m excited to fill some of my time looking after other people’s babies. Since I’m retired, I’m open to a variety of schedules. Ideally I would like to avoid night visits but am happy to drop in anytime during the day. I believe all pets should be spoiled and loved unconditionally. I am currently a freshman at Umass Amherst, with availability Fridays, Monday and Wednesday mornings until 2pm, and occasional weekends.
