About: My journey began when I worked for the Humane League in Lancaster. From there, I started caring for friends' and families' pets over the years, as well as my own. I have owned both cats and dogs; currently, I have a Great Dane/Labrador Mix and a mini dachshund. My experience caring for dogs includes bathing, ear cleaning, teething brushing, walks, fetch, feeding, medication administration, and just hanging out! All breeds WELCOME, both BIG and small! I do work full-time, but I am available during the week, early mornings, evenings, and nights. Since I do not work weekends, I have open availability. I do not work holidays, and am available during those times as well. I look forward to caring for your fur babies! Pet parents can trust that I will follow whatever instructions are provided to me. My professional job is in Human Resources, so I understand the importance of following the rules, and I believe in caring for a pet the same way I would want mine cared for.

“Akaycia did a great job with Lily, Penny and Sophie. Everyone was well taken care of and happy. They almost seemed upset that she was leaving. Lily and Penny can be quite a handful with them both being puppies still. They can be full of energy but she handled them great. Also we had no expectations of her cleaning the house up from two shedding Collies but she tried her best to do it even though we never showed her where the vacuum was. Will definitely try to hire her again if we go anywhere.”

About: i work at an animal rescue as a animal care behavior specialist. I’ve also worked with animals for every job i’ve had since i was 16. I’ve also dog/cat sat for the past four years as well i’m currently working full time and have off on sundays and monday. On the days i work, i work 9-5:30 sometimes getting done earlier on occasion. During visits and walks, I make sure pets are always supervised, safely leashed when outside, and kept in a stress-free environment. I follow any specific instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special needs. I pay attention to each pets behavior and comfort level, and I take a patient and gentle approach to build trust. I can also provide updates so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in good hands. I have a reliable car and can travel to your home easily. If requested, I can also take dogs to nearby parks, always ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the trip.
