About: I’ve always had family dogs and cats! Always helped with families pets, volunteered at animal shelters, and have used other walk/sitting apps before. Never met an animal I didn’t love! Full time student at UNMC, looking for part time care. Available for walks mostly in the evenings and on weekends, and available for sitting most of the time! I will look after your pets as if they were my own! I will treat each and every pet with respect and acknowledge their specific needs!

About: I have worked at a veterinary clinic as a kennel assistant, at a doggy daycare as park staff, and at a wildlife rehab as seasonal staff. These jobs have required me to monitor behavior and symptoms to ensure the health and safety of all involved. I work part time, leaving me with much time for looking after animals. I am off on weekends and am looking for something full-filling to fill that time. My shifts at my job are usually 6 hours but no more than 8. In high school, I watched many pets in my hometown while their families were away. Lists and rules are very important to me so that I know exactly what is expected and how your furry family member would have the best experience.
About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I started watching over and caring for friends and family’s’ dogs since I was 10. Dogs are my all time fav and I can’t wait to care for yours! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little! I grew up with 4 dogs of my own. I’m also a dog groomer, so I have knowledge on all sorts of dogs and their behaviors. I work full time as a dog groomer Tuesday- Saturday until 3 on average. I can stop by to see your pups in the afternoon and all day Sunday and Monday I provide pet care in the client’s home, making sure pets are comfortable, safe, and well cared for in their familiar environment. I follow the owner’s instructions closely, maintain a clean space, and give each pet plenty of attention, care, and supervision.
About: I love being around animals! I got my first dog when I was 15 and trained him myself. Then I have dogs sat for countless families. I have cared for puppies to senior dogs and of all kinds. About: I’ve been around large and small animals alike my entire life. I grew up on a farm where I cared for (and showed)horses, sheep, dogs, cats, a turtle, guinea pigs, and even (had) gerbils. I was active in 4H, FFA, county and state fairs where I showed my prize Appaloosa horse. During my college years I worked at a locally owned pet store in Kearney, Nebraska, which gave me even more hands on experience especially with a variety of small animals like snakes, birds and rabbits. I’ve always had a dog in my life (and cats) until recently when my Mastiff of 14 years passed away. My Mastiff was a rescue with extensive behavioral issues at first; however, after a year and a half of steady, consistent daily work and training, I am proud to say he passed the temperament test, did a complete 180, and I began taking him into nursing homes, where he was absolutely adored. So in short, I’ve worked with some challenging pet personalities but it makes it all worthwhile knowing I improved that animals life and can take the skills I’ve obtained and pay it forward. I also have extensive experience taking care of senior dogs and am quite familiar with the extra care they require whether that be assisting them up or down stairs, making sure there is plenty or traction where they’re walking, taking extra stops to rest on walks, and overall recognizing when they’re in pain or or not acting like themselves and adjusting any activities accordingly, and ensuring the owner is aware of any changes in personality, eating, drinking and/or potty breaks. Hello! I work part time remotely, so my schedule is very flexible which leaves me plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, playtime, feeding, and anything else your furry friend(s) need while you’re away! I have 2 cats currently so I would prefer to do any daycare at the client’s home, plus, I feel it’s less stressful on the animal if they’re in their own environment. However, in a pinch, I could certainly arrange to do boarding in my home as I have a large fenced in backyard and my cats could easily be placed in another area of my home. I also have a large (Great Dane size) crate from my beloved dog who passed recently, if a crate would be necessary. Whatever it takes to make your furbaby happy and as comfortable as can be, I’ll make sure it happens! When I am at your home, I’ll make it so that you don’t even know I was there aside from a tired pet(s). Trust and integrity is crucial when letting a stranger not only care for your animals but be in the home, and I firmly believe im establishing that trust by respecting your home and your rules. I live in the south Lincoln area, I drive and own my own vehicle, so can be anywhere in the Lincoln area within about 20-30 minutes. Also, if there was an emergency of any kind I would be able to transport your pet to your closest Veterinarian or wherever need be to ensure his/her wellbeing.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life starting from the age of 10. I’ve always helped when it came to feeding, walking, and any potty pick ups. I’ve taken care of dogs for both family and friends. Currently only available afternoons on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as afternoons and evenings on weekends due to school and a regular job throughout the week. I like to make sure that I know all entrances and exits and if there’s any loose doors/handles, that way I know where to keep an eye out around the house of clients, so no one gets hurt or out without supervision.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs through all stages of life. We’ve ALWAYS had dogs growing up in my family and as I’ve gotten older I’ve even helped raise a couple puppies. I dog sit for a few people from work and such whenever they go out and I’ve even helped a couple people potty train their puppies by just letting them out every couple hours while they were at work! I have a cat myself currently and have had multiple dogs (including special needs ones) in the past, so I understand working with animals multiple times every single day. I’d be at your house multiple times a day to let your animals out/check on them. When an animals owners go away I know they have to be sad or maybe even lonely. So I try to go out of my way to make sure they are comfortable while you’re away and even (if they’re not a playful type of pet) to play or cuddle with them for a few minutes at least each time I’d stop by so they get at least a little bit of pent up energy out.
About: I have grown up around animals my entire life and pet sat for family members while they're on vacation for a week or even longer! I am currently only doing this so I am open to anything anytime! I am open to staying overnight and doing some cleaning for you! I’m very intentional about making sure I have plenty of time to care for pets, which allows me to come home and let dogs out for potty breaks, take them on walks, give them lots of attention, and spend time hanging out with them. I want to make sure every pet gets the care, exercise, and companionship they need while their owners are away. 🐾 When your pet is staying with me, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved just like they’re at home. I’ll keep them on their normal routine as much as possible, including meals, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. Since I have a flexible work schedule, I’m able to make time throughout the day to let them outside and give them attention rather than leaving them alone for long periods. My Goldendoodle, Willow, is also very friendly and loves having other dogs around, so your pup will have a fun little friend to keep them company! 🐾🤍

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
