1. Eric Y.

“This was my first time using Rover - we booked Eric to drop in on our dog, and he was fantastic. Great communication, punctual, I could tell by his photos and messages what a dog lover he is. I would highly recommend him and we will definitely be using him again in the future.”

2. Nicole B.

“Nicole, as always, took great care of my three dogs over several days. They always look happy in the photos she sends, and I always come home to the dogs still content in their kitchen area. They never seem to escape and get into places they shouldn't be when she's their dog sitter. I think this is because she gives them lots of attention and time to run around and play when she's with them.”

3. Kristin H.

“Kristen did an absolutely outstanding job taking care of my two cats while I was away on vacation. One of my cats has type 1 diabetes and needs two shots a day. Kristen went above and beyond every single day in communicating with me and trying different strategies so that she could find my cat and administer the shot. This was not an easy task! My cat hid from her, scratched at her, hissed and was just generally not cooperative at all. Kristen thought of different ideas and just kept going. Several times I thought I was going to have to come home early from vacation but in the end I was able to stay the entire time and Kristen was the reason why. And just a short period of time she understood dosing of insulin and how to give the shot better than people in my own family who have lived around diabetics their whole lives. So if it's just a healthy regular pet that you need a sitter for or one with medical issues Kristen is great. I wish I could give her six stars!”

4. Rachel N.

“Absolutely thrilled with Rachel's services as a cat sitter for the past week! She was simply incredible with Ellie, showing genuine care and affection that made all the difference. Her communication was superb, keeping us updated with regular photos and messages. Rachel went above and beyond, ensuring Ellie was not only well-fed and safe but also happy and engaged. We couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter and highly recommend her to anyone in need of exceptional pet care! Thank you, Rachel!”

5. Elizabeth R.
“Libby has been a trusted pet sitter for me for years now, and has proved herself able to handle a variety of different situations when it comes to my pets! My dog is an 85lb diva, and Libby has no problems handling her (or her sassy attitude) and making sure she gets an appropriate amount of exercise & play time! Whenever she's around, she treats my dog & cat like her own, and they love her for it! I simply cannot recommend Libby enough!!”

6. Maddie H.

“We were so happy with Maddie! She took amazing care of Onyx our black lab and Nia our cat while we were away, sending daily updates with pictures and letting us know how they were doing. Onyx and Nia seemed completely relaxed and happy when we got back, which is the best indication of how well they were treated. Maddie is clearly passionate about animals and we felt completely confident leaving our furry family member in her hands. We will definitely be booking them again for our next trip!”

7. Ashlee T.

“Wr needed a dog/house sitter for a last minute trip. I didn't want just anyone, either. Ibqas so worried our dogs were just going to be let out 3-4 times a day, and not get any play time. That was not the case when I got on here and found Ashlee. She was simply amazing! She sent me pictures of our dogs multiple times a day, was always checking in with me. Our dogs usually have separation anxiety and they seemed to do just fine with her! She walked our dogs multiple times, spoiled the with treats, played with them outside for a while! We were very blessed to have found Ashlee. We liked her so much we booked her again when we went to a concert, and we have her potentially booked for our vacation in February! She is a fantastic dog/house sitter. Thanks again, Ashlee! ?”

8. Kayla D.

“So kind and patient especially with behaviorally challenged pets. My dog is not friendly to strangers and can be scary but Kayla took the time to let me dog feel comfortable and warm up to her and she was able to take care of my dog while I was away. Kept me updated and wasn’t afraid of my loud dog.”

9. Ryan M.
“She has been fantastic with our playful pug puppy. She knows exactly how to handle his little bursts of energy and keeps him engaged and happy during their walks. She is patient, kind, and very reliable. We always feel confident leaving our pup in her care and appreciate the regular updates. We couldn’t ask for a better dog walker!”

10. Rachel B.
“Rachel is one of the kindest, most genuine friends I have ever met. She will, at the drop of a hat, watch my dog for me when needed, and he absolutely loves her. She cares for her dog (and mine when she has him!) with such attention to detail, and even taught me how to make my dog's food homemade so that he could be as healthy as possible. She is attentive, loves taking them to the park, long walks, and giving them all the cuddles. She even gave my dog a bath one time when he got a little too muddy. I could not recommend a better person to be a partner to Rover, and any dog owner would be so lucky to have her care for their pet.”

About: A proud rescue mom to a sweet maltipoo Bebe and a cat named Mulligan, both adopted during the pandemic. Being their human has taught me just how much love, patience, and attention every pet deserves. That same level of care is what I bring to every pet I look after. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, personalities, and special needs. My home is pet-friendly, and I’m also happy to travel to yours for drop-ins or overnight stays. I currently teach at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, and my summer schedule is very flexible. I work remotely often, which allows me to spend plenty of time with your pet during the day. Whether it’s check-ins, walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I can easily fit pet care into my routine and make sure your furry friend gets the attention they deserve. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with a large grassy yard around the property—perfect for safe walks and playtime. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their comfort and safety always come first. I make sure they have a calm, clean space, stick to their routines, and get lots of love and attention. I’m respectful of your home and your pet’s needs, creating an environment where they feel secure and cared for.

12. Paul R.
About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life — from the family cat and our first Labs growing up to my current Labrador retrievers, Huck and Cash. I’ve seen it all: puppies with endless energy, aging animals in their glory years, hunting injuries in the field, upset stomachs, and long-term illness like cancer. I trained Huck myself from puppyhood, and I’ve helped two beloved pets cross the rainbow bridge with comfort, dignity, and love. I know every animal is different, and I take the time to get to know their needs, personalities, and routines. Whether they’re anxious, playful, shy, or slowing down — I adapt and care for them like they’re my own. What sets me apart is that I’ve lived the full life cycle of pet ownership — and I treat your pets with the same care, patience, and compassion I expect for mine. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide consistent, attentive care based on your needs. While I do occasionally travel, I plan those trips well in advance and keep my availability updated so your pet’s care is never disrupted. My goal is to make your time away stress-free — for both you and your pet. “Will they stick to our routine? Will my dog be happy? What if something goes wrong?” If you’ve ever left your pet while traveling, you’ve asked yourself those same questions. I know I have. I’m Paul — a lifelong dog lover, Lab owner, and someone who has traveled often for work. I’ve felt the stress of leaving my dogs behind and the incredible peace of mind that comes with finding a sitter you trust completely. That’s why I offer more than just pet sitting or walks — I offer dependability, real-time communication, and the kind of care I’d want for my own pets. With two Labrador retrievers of my own and years of experience caring for animals, I’m here to make your life easier and your pets’ time away from you as fun and comfortable as possible. Here’s what you can expect: * Trust and transparency: Daily updates with photos so you’re never left wondering. * Flexibility: I offer drop-ins, walks, overnight stays, or boarding in my home (with a fenced yard and plenty of space). * Preparedness: I have a truck with kennels for safe trail walks or emergencies and experience handling injuries and medications. * Routine-focused care: I keep your pets on their normal schedule so they stay relaxed and happy. * A calm, respectful presence: I treat your pets (and home) as if they were my own. Whether it’s a weekend away or a weeklong trip, I’ll give your pets the attention, structure, and love they deserve — so you can travel with confidence and peace of mind

13. Schyler J.
“We have had Schyler stay with our 5 year old Golden Retriever Wynnie, several times! She takes such good care of her and always gives us updates on what they are up to when we are away. I come home to a clean and tidy home and also a very happy puppy!! Grateful to have her here when we have to leave our favorite friend!! I would highly recommend Schyler!!”

14. Kyley J.

“Kyley has been the best, incredibly reliable and so kind. We always know our girl in the best hands and a bonus she also has a golden retriever!”

15. Hattie B.
“Both our dogs are rescues. Penelope was attention deprived and fed very little and Beatrice aka Little One was in a hoarded situation, never allowed out of her kennel and put in a kennel too small for her and starved. We got both dogs at different times, but Hattie was the first to greet them when they arrived. Penelope was very curious and wanted to sniff everything! The first night we had her, it started to storm, Hattie sat with her in the living room all night comforting her so she knew she was safe. She helped to get her comfortable on a leash and made sure she had treats every time she took her out. Beatrice was a mess when she came to us! She hadn't been in town more than a few hours and wanted to bark at everyone and everything she saw. The volunteers who brought her over said she was aggressive with them but Hattie had the magical touch! When Hattie took her out to go to the bathroom, Little One instantly liked her! She listened, she went out, she took the treat willing from her and got excited to walk and sniff around. Little One had never take stairs before, so Hattie took the time to show her how to walk up and down the stairs until she was comfortable. And, our cats could never get enough Hattie snuggles. They would lay with her on the couch, snuggle in bed with her and always make sure to come get the belly rubs, chin scratches and greet Hattie whenever she was around.”

16. Sidney F.
“Sidney is great at watching dogs! She is kind and compassionate, kind towards animals and is a great and effective communicator with thier owners. 10/10”

17. Thomas C.
About: I care deeply about dogs and their welfare, including love and exercise. My dog Mitzy also loves other dogs and is a gentle companion; she loves to play and make friends. I work from home, so I am available at all times. I will spend time with your pup, and my own dog is very loving. I have a fenced backyard and we have a huge neighborhood area exclusively to us homeowners the size of a football field. Also there are to parks within 5 minutes.

18. Meredith E.
“Meredith was raised in a home with a love for animals. There are a select few people I would ask to house/pet sit for me, and Meredith is one of them. Not only do I have two dogs to tend to and love while I am out of town, but also ducks, chickens, cats, and bunnies. Meredith is an extremely responsible gal, and sets my mind at ease when I go on vacation. Meredith sent pictures of them playing on the acreage, and I know that all of the animals are in great hands when she is here!”

19. Jack S.
“Jack is a dog whisperer. A calming energy and life making dog owner, he connects to animals easily and makes sure pups are cozy and taken care of. He always is so sweet with our dogs. He’ll love yours too :)”

20. Olivia M.
About: Growing up I have taken care of my neighbors, friends and teachers pets and I absolutely love every minute of it! Definitely a passion of mine. I’m currently working part time, so I will have plenty of time to play with your amazing pets! I am available: Mon- Sat Times are unavailable, but can be easily taken care of! I live in a pretty secluded spot, I don’t live by a super busy road. I think it is important for the pet to stay in their own comfortable environment, so I would pet sit there!
