Doggy Day Care in Delco

About: Our love of Dogs started 16 years ago when we adopted Khloe. She has grown with us through the best parts of our life. We wanted a companion for her and had adopted Jax in 2020 from a Pug Rescue in Aptos, CA and have been enjoying the two of them and the bond they share! For the last few years, we've had the privilege to help out families in our neighborhood with short and long drop-in visits. I work from home so rest assured your pup will always have someone to hang out with. We rarley leave for long period of time. Potty breaks, fetch, treats, love and a fenced in 1/2 acre yard for all the outdoor fun! Our two pups would love the company!

About: I didn't have dogs growing up but I always pet-sat for friends and family. I have dog-sat, walked, and groomed dogs of all sizes. I also grew up riding horses so I have a ton of experience handling dogs and other animals together. My first dog was a 100 pound German shepherd/ Rottweiler mix who was my heart and soul. We lived with a big Rottweiler for a few years so I got very comfortable handling multiple large dogs on my own. Then when I got married my ex husband and I had my old dog, two pit bulls, and a cattle dog/ jack russel mix. I was there sole care taker and they taught me so much. I got divorced and it was just me and my shepherd, who sadly passed away in 2022. Fast forward to now and I have a 5 year old son and a Dalmatian/ terrier mix. We treat her as well as we treat my little boy. We recently (well in the last year) added a young female foxhound to the family. She is SO sweet and silky and has been the best addition to our mix! The past ten or so years have given me so much experience caring for multiple dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperments. I’m just super passionate about giving my animals and those I care for the absolute best care I can. It’s also given me experience administering medication, giving shots, walking multiple dogs at a time, feeding special individualized diets, taking care of a special needs dog, etc. I’m just a true animal lover :) I am currently not working so my schedule is incredibly flexible to meet your pets needs around the clock. I wake up early, let the dogs out in the backyard, feed them, let them out again. They usually play outside for a little bit before coming inside to nap. When my husband gets home we take them on walks, play in the yard, or go walk our favorite trail. Then we go home, feed dinner, and relax until bed time! At home my dog is walked Atleast three times a day, and one of those walks is always somewhere different- the beach, the park, the cross city trails, etc. When we’re hanging at home we provide lots of enrichment activities, playtime with toys, and also enjoy just snuggling on the couch. While your dog is in my care they will receive the same. We feed our dog a special diet and she requires daily allergy medication so meeting your dogs dietary and medication needs is no issue. Our dog is allowed on furniture, so as long as it is okay with you we have no problem with your pup joining us on the couch or in our bed. However if they aren’t allowed, we have multiple dog beds in each room so they can still be comfortable while we’re being lazy. Although we no longer have a fenced yard, our yard is pretty big and we take our dog out on the long lead often to sniff and play so your dog will receive lots of outside time as well.

“I have taken my grand dog, Kai to Danika the last two weeks for doggie day care. Kai receives the best exercise and care while attending. Danika and her sweet family provide a loving and caring environment for Kai. When I pull up to drop off Kai, and he sees Danika he nearly jumps out the window to get to her. He gets plenty of outside exercise and live by her daughters too. Danika send pics of Kai for us to see how much fun he has. He truly is exhausted when we get home. Truly is a home away from home for Kai.”

She gets along with all dogs so if a dog has a problem with her then they won't be invited for doggy day care. However, that does not mean I cannot pay a visit to your house for any needs. I can also crate any dog that is better suited for that environment. Safety for all pups under my watch is the number one priority.

About: Passionate about dogs with 10+ years of experience in walking, feeding, and providing TLC to furry friends. I've also grown up with labs and currently own a sweet little pug. I currently work remotely, so I have flexibility during the week to play with your pups! I'm available any time on weekdays and Saturdays, and any time after 12 on Sundays to care for your pets. I make sure your pets feel loved and comfortable in their own home or mine, sticking to their routine and making them happy! I treat all dogs I care for as if they are my own.

About: I grew up with a wheaten terrier. I would always feed and walk neighbors pets while they were on vacation and watched neighbors pets in my home while they were gone for a week. I currently live with my boyfriend and his dog however they will be gone for the next 2 months so there will be no pets in the home. I work M-F, 8AM-3PM. I go on an 2-5 mile walk everyday and can tailor my activity to your dog’s needs. I like to walk around the loop in Wrightsville beach or on the river walk downtown! I live in a 2 bed apartment on the first floor that is very clean but very dog friendly! When my boyfriend is here, his dog lives with us but he is currently traveling for work (with the dog) so the apartment is very dog friendly with lots of toys and blankets everywhere!

I have been dog sitting since I was 14 years old and have continued to dog sit for regular clients in my hometown for the past 12 years. I understand that all dogs should be treated and cared for based on their needs while also providing safety measures at all times. Supervision is key and making sure we pay attention to details always so that your pup is happy and healthy. As for hosting a stay, my apartment is fenced in and dog friendly.
