About: I am a Special Education teacher who works at a Therapeutic School by day and an animal lover all day and night. I do not have kids but I have 3 cats and babysit my friends and families fur babies any chance I get. Pets have free range of my home, they can relax on the couch, chair and bed whenever they want. I have experience watching dogs from pups-elderly. I volunteer at a local animal rescue in Palatine and bring in therapy dogs to visit my classroom. I rescued and adopted a deaf kitty with one eye, and I've always had animals in my home. I am a non-smoker and vegan (vegans really do love animals). For any overnight/weekend stays, I will be home and available to play, go for lots of walks and hangout all weekend long with your fur baby. Regular walks, feedings, playtime and relaxation based on your dogs needs is my priority. I have three loving cats who will keep your dog company. I have a small backyard that is away from cars/traffic and a large front yard. I have a dog tie out and spiral stake for dogs that want to roam around my unfenced front and/or backyard. Playdates with neighboring dogs is always an option or solo, quiet time if they prefer. I can keep your pet on their walking/feeding/play/sleep schedule as you request.

About: I have personally owned dogs, cats and ferrets. I currently own two very active cats. I have about five years experience pet sitting for cats and dogs and walking dogs. I can provide pet sitting in your own home. I can perform feeding, walking, play time and waste clean up. I previously worked as a Records Clerk at the Palatine Police Dept for 15 years and I am now a stay at home wife. I am looking for something part-time to supplement my income. I chose dog walking so that I could spend time with animals, be able to be outside a lot and have a flexible schedule. I am very comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dogs. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! Right now I am a stay at home wife and so my schedule is currently flexible. But mornings and afternoons typically work best for me. I am not able to care for pets in my home due to my own cats. For vacation needs I can make multiple visits to your home each day.
