I’ve raised pets from their earliest days through to their golden years, including those with special needs like hip dysplasia and diabetes. I'm happily married and my husband also works a flexible day job so he is able to hold down the fort with our pets and teens so that I can take care of your family when you're away! I'd love to provide your pet with drop-in care that suits their individual and unique needs, whether that's going for walks, playing in an enclosed yard, or hanging out for a bit for belly rubs, cuddles, and treats. I'm flexible to each pet's needs and want to be sure they feel loved and cared for in your absence. And of course, it's important to me to be sure they are in a clean, safe, fed environment during the times that I'm not there - whether that means making sure water dishes are full, messes are cleaned up, doors are secured, temperatures are comfortable, etc. I've worked with pets who prefer crate-training to those who are allowed free reign, and am comfortable with whatever YOUR structure is for your pet. If they're happy, I'm happy.

About: Hello, my name is Pam, I am a current pet parent who lives in Carroll County, MD. I have a passion for animals and their care. I would love to assist you with the care of your pets as well. 😀 I have been caring for pets in my community, since I was very small. I have personal experience taking care of my own pets at home, keeping their cages and clean and emptying and maintaining my cats litter boxes. I have several pets, l have a hamster and a cat, as well as two Guineapigs. I give them lots of treats. Currently, I am looking to provide pet care and assistance to those in my community, part-time. I would be able to provide care and support to people, working around 18 hours per week. I will be working 4.5 hours daily. 11AM-2PM or 5PM-9:30PM. I plan to work for now as a pet sitter, mainly for cats and other small animals, including small dogs, since it will be in my apartment, which is on the smaller size.

She was extremely detailed in care, sent lots of videos and pics and checked in with you on how they were doing. Mine is a bit finicky with food in new environments sometimes (she’d rather go play than eat lol). Keyona kept me up to date on how she ate and even offered her fresh food toppers that helped her eat more. My baby is a level 5 clinger and from the updates it looks like she got lots of love and cuddles. She’s back home now, happy and exhausted after a weekend of fun! Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Deep Run home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Deep Run.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Deep Run sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
