About: Home Environment I live in a spacious house featuring a securely fenced back yard, providing a safe and comfortable environment for pets to play and relax. My Chihuahua, who is notably sociable and friendly, enjoys interacting with other dogs, cats, and people alike. Resident Pets In addition to my Chihuahua, I share my home with two cats that I rescued from the local animal shelter. Both cats are well-adjusted and accustomed to living with dogs. Typically, after a brief introduction consisting of a few sniffs and perhaps a hiss, they are able to coexist peacefully with other cats. Experience and Availability Since retiring from the Army, I am available around the clock to care for your beloved pet. With more than 26 years of experience in owning and caring for both dogs and cats, I am well-versed in understanding and meeting their unique needs. About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was at least 15 years old. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to take care of the furry little creatures. I make sure they’re well taken care of so you never have to worry! I will always make sure your little furry children are well taken care of and full of energy for the next day! I was working home improvement for a few months with a mobile company. My boss currently couldn’t afford to have employees work for him so he let us go. I will be free 100% of the time for your furry children. I will be looking for another job of course.. but currently and for a while I will be available 100% of the time for the week. In the clients home, I will be able to crate the dog if necessary and needed. If they have a fenced in yard the dog will be able to roam freely and have some freedom. If not I will make sure to leash the dog and keep an eye on them 100% of the time. Cats of course if the owner says they do leash them and take them for walks, that will happen. Leashed in the back yard unless told otherwise. Free to roam in the house Obviously whenever!
About: I have had experience with all types of animals my entire life i grew up taking care of my dog widget since i was 7 me and my dog would go to pet training class as well. As my dog had gotten older me and my family had changed our routine and home life to accommodate to my best buds last days so he would be comfortable. About: Hi! I live in a big home with lots of space for long walks and play space for your pet! I have a large fenced back yard and I have plenty of space for your furbaby at my house. While I do not have any pets currently, I have had dogs and other animals all my life (30 years). I have a lot of experience with them in many capacities. I have experience with senior dogs as well. I would love to give your pet all the attention and snuggles they need. I will take amazing care of them and keep you updated as much as you prefer throughout their stay with me! What is your pets daily routine? How do they do with new people and kids? I like to leave something on the tv for the dogs for some “white noise” when I leave the house. About: I've taken care of pets since I was 13/14. I work with dogs on maintaining training and manners. I enjoy taking care and giving cuddles to dogs and cats. I currently work full-time, but am available after generally after 5 pm most weekdays except Thursdays. I am available all day on Fridays for drop-in visits and/or walks. I can provide early care from 6-9 AM in the morning and any time after 4:20 PM on weekdays, as well as 24 hour care on weekends and overnight stays if needed. Walking, feeding, litter-box cleaning, playtime, as well as insulin/subcutaneous fluid injections are all possible. I can also administer medication orally. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
