About: I am active and keep my own dog as such. When taking care Of your family, I’ll treat them like my own. I love all the cuddles and play time, and I’ll make sure they are loved and happy while you are away. Keeping them comfortable and to their schedule is most important, and i strive to keep them as unaffected as possible to a new person. I provide daily runs for my pet, so if your dog likes a mile a day, you’ve found your girl! Sleepovers are a must so rest assured there will be plenty of cuddles for your pet in their future. About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 11 years old, caring for pets of all kinds for neighbors, friends, and family. All three are medium sized, dog and cat friendly, and well socialized. 🐱 Resident Cats: • Zuko is our playful kitten who acts more like a dog. • Calypso prefers her independence and lounges in her cat tree, but she’s dog aware and unbothered. If your dog isn’t cat friendly, we’re happy to keep our cats in a separate area of the home. 🚗 Pickup & Drop off: Need help with transportation? About: Imagine having a stranger enter your house, then grab and kiss your face! Unfortunately, well meaning pet lovers assume your dog or cat wants to be pet, cuddled, and squished, all while unintentionally ignoring polite yet clear cut off signals from your pet that say "no thank you." Hanging out with a sitter for the day should be as low stress and fun for your pet as possible. That's where I come in. With over 12 years of animal care experience, including 3 years of working with and training behaviorally sensitive, fearful, and easily over-stimulated dogs, I understand the importance of moving at your pet's pace. I can quickly read and interpret canine body language to know if your dog is saying "more please" or "please give me some space." My experience includes 2 years working in specialized boarding for fearful, reactive, and sensitive dogs, 7 months of shelter canine behavioral modification, and a solid foundation in positive reinforcement dog training. When with me, your pet will enjoy enrichment through fun puzzles and/or basic training games. I hold my Fear Free Certified Professional Trainer certification and my IAABC-ADT accreditation (International Association of Animal Behavior Consulting - Accredited Dog Trainer). Both FearFree Pets and IAABC hold their members to the highest animal treatment standards (viewable on their websites) so you can rest assured your pet is in safe and caring hands. I work part time most week days and weekends. My pet care available hours for in-home services are 8AM to 3PM on Mondays and Fridays. My approach to animals is at their pace. I don't force them into anything they are uncomfortable with or fearful of, and I pair my presence with lots of delicious treats.

I’ve also been dog sitting for my grandma since I was about 12 (22 now) whenever she travels, helping with feeding, walks, and general care. Now I live on a ranch with 3 dogs, plus horses & other animals. I’ve spent my whole life around animals and feel very comfortable caring for dogs of all personalities and energy levels. I take Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday off, and I’m available after 3 PM on Saturdays sometimes earlier upon request. This gives me plenty of time to provide reliable care, whether it’s walks, playtime, or overnight stays. I prioritize ensuring pets receive the attention and care they need during my available hours. I treat them all like royalty and make sure they feel loved. I have a house with a large backyard for your pet to roam around in! I live here with my husband and 2 dachshunds. I am 100% work from home so I will be here with your pet for entirety of the stay. We let the dogs roam free throughout house unless instructed otherwise. We will ensure your pet is safe and happy here! Any special request we can do! Our goal is to make sure your pet feels at home. I am home all day during the week, so I can watch your pets at any time! I make sure to give as much attention as I can to your pet, providing them with walks outside, playing fetch in backyard and of course cuddling on the couch! We have a fenced backyard and live in a new build neighborhood. Our home is a good size for pets to roam. We dedicate our time to your pet throughout the entirety of their stay, treating them like our own. We provide beds, toys, and lots of cuddles!
