“I left Zorro at their house for a day. It was a last minute request so I was a bit antsy. As soon as I arrived at Claudette's I was assured Zorro would be at home and well cared for. The back yard was huge. Two other little dogs were there for Zorro to interact with. It was clear he was going to be fine. They touched base throughout the day and when I asked for an update, they sent one -- a cute photo of Zorro on Patrick's lap! When I picked him up he was happy, not desperate to see me. A sure sign that he had had a low key, easy visit. My only issue I had was with Rover. I tried to get the video chat to work numerous times and the call would not go through. Perhaps leave more specific instructions as to how to make that work.”
About: I grew up in rural Costa Rica, surrounded by all kinds of animals—cats, dogs, chickens, pigs, cows, and even birds. About: Growing up in a rural area I have had experience with most animals, from dogs to exotics, and love them all. I have a Bachelors in Animal Science from TAMU and worked for the Vet School during my undergrad. Not only do I have many of my own pets, but I have been trusted to care for others’ furry family members for several years. “Dayna and her family took such wonderful care of our dog,Mac! It was his first overnight with a sitter from Rover and we were having a hard time leaving him so soon after we moved to Texas. He was treated like one of their own and he obviously felt relaxed and calm in their home. When our flight was delayed and we could not pick him up until later than planned, Dayna assured us it was not a problem and offered to keep him overnight if we needed to. I love that Mac felt so comfortable! I am grateful we have found a perfect place where we can leave him if we need to travel and not worry. Thank you,Dayna!”
