About: Ever since I remember, I’ve had a dog. Life without a dog is so boring. There’s no true love more than the three dogs that I have of my own. I currently work from home with my three dogs so they are never left alone and all they’ve ever known as love. I’ve spent a lot of time working with them to make sure that they are well behaved while I’m not trained in many aspects of dog care I’m more than happy to help you out when you’re in need! I’m free before most work days, during lunch hours, as well as, after work hours and most weekends! Reach out to me if there is a time that you may need additional care for your pet. I’m very flexible. The three dogs I have at home are well cared for and loved every day. My standard poodle, Romeo went through a very tough time the summer of 2024. I was unsure how his life would end up and what was really going on with him, he was a completely healthy dog and something changed him medically at the time I could not run the test that were needed so I am still unsure, but I have nursed him back to full health and he is still here with me!

“Jessica was wonderful as always! She was very communicative and even went above and beyond by taking my dog for a walk and helping clean up when he had an accident. She is very appreciated and absolutely recommended!”

“Terri was awesome! She took great care of our kitties - we loved the thorough ‘report cards’ after each visit and I’m sure the cats loved all the extra attention! 10/10 would recommend, will definitely rebook for next time!”

About: I have had fur pets since I was 4 years old. I love cats and dogs! I have experience feeding, bathing, walking, clipping nails (cats), bottle feeding and giving all the pets they need! Pets are a part of the family to me. I have 2 cats and 1 dog and they all sleep with me at night. I’ll take good care of your fur baby too. I am a mom to both human and fur babies so pet care is a daily routine naturally for me. My work schedule is pretty flexible which would allow me to visit your pet a few times a day. I will follow your rules for your pet to the best of my abilities. I am familiar with feeding dry food and canned food to both cats and dogs. I enjoy playing fetch and giving good scratches to your furry friends!

“Ashley has had about 4 drop in visits with my pets and I am pleased with how it’s gone! Very attentive and caring.”

“We really loved having Heidi to help out with our pups! This was our first time using Rover, so it was a little new for us. Heidi was super accommodating with great communication and reliability even when we needed to add last minute drop-ins. She went above and beyond in taking care of our pups and we couldn't ask for a better first experience. We will definitely be checking Heidi's availability the next time we plan a trip out of town!”

“Katerina was wonderful with our babies!”

About: I have cared for pets of my own and friends for over 25 years. I look forward to assisting you with your pet needs while you are away! I am currently working a flexible job that allows me to satisfy almost any schedule needs for your furry family member. I am excited for the opportunity to serve. I am very detail oriented, I am able to follow your instructions well, or if you just want to provide a simple list of feeding times and amounts, I can make up the rest as we go. I love to walk and play with your pet.

About: I have taken care of just about any animal you can think of. I was a veterinary assistant for 4 years. I am 25 years old and currently finishing my bachelor’s degree online at SIUE. I am a teaching assistant for the local school district now! However, I really miss seeing pets all the time so I would love to pet sit for you! I have my own fur babies but I love to meet new pets and build connections with them as well as their owners! I am currently working part time as a nanny and looking to add more pet sitting clients to my workload! I am in college and trying to save money for my future and pet sitting is a very flexible way for me to do that, plus I enjoy it so much! I always love to spend quality time with the animals I am caring for, it helps them to become more comfortable and makes it more enjoyable for me as well! I like to learn the little things that each pet I take care of likes most and use that to bring them comfort and joy while I am caring for them!

“Reliable and friendly, I can tell from the check in photos that my dog is happy to see Brooklynn each day.”

About: I’ve been around dogs from the moment I was born. I am genuine with dogs and I have the experience of dog sitting and knowing what comes with it. I’m not afraid of poop, pee, or vomit. I know how to handle emergencies and follow owner’s instructions and routines closely. I’m available early mornings. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have more than enough time to play with your pets! I get off at 3:45 every weekday. I have more flexibility on every second/third Wednesday. I am also a Senior in college, studying to get my bachelor’s degree but I am taking my courses online so scheduling would not be a problem. Every dog I ever has become an inside dog. I think of dogs as my children so they’re more than welcome to be on couches and be inside. I also am able to keep dogs outside if thats what the owner prefers.

About: I have experienced taking care of senior dogs especially with vision issues. I can give oral medication. I used to worked at a doggie daycare. I’m currently working at the Devon part time. In the summer I’m available most days between 10 am to 3 pm. On the days I’m not working at the Devon I’m available from 10 am to 7 pm. I have a fenced in yard at my house. At clients house if no fenced yard I can take them for a walk or play with them inside to help get their energy out.

I am currently available for boarding on both weekdays and weekends. I am flexible with times and schedules that work best for you and your pup. I will accommodate to your pets need and what fits their personality best! I know every pup is different and I’m looking forward to meeting your fur baby.

About: I’m a retired RN with compassion and care for people and their best dog friends. I’ve helped many families care for their fur babies. Trust and support are assured. I’m retired with a flexible schedule. Let me know what you need and I will respond ASAP so you can plan for the option that works best for you. Does your pet have special needs, such as daily meds? My nursing background assures accuracy of any directions required to support your dog’s needs. But even if your pup just needs some TLC ear scratches, cuddles and walks, I’m your caregiver.

About: I have adored animals my entire life! I have so much respect for all living creatures, and I prioritize their safety and well-being. I love to play with all dogs and can adapt to a high variety of pet personalities. On top of caring for my own family’s pets through the years, I have watched over plenty of people’s furry loved ones. I have experience with walking dogs, monitoring potty breaks, overnight stays, watching senior dogs, blind / deaf dogs, hyperactive dogs, and more. I learn quickly and have a fast memory for all necessary routines, special needs, etc. It is not hard for me to want to take care of your animals because I am nearly certain to fall in love with any pet at first sight! Pet sitting is currently my only job, so you are my first priority! As of now, I am open every day of the week and am willing to work at any time, including nights. I care for pets by providing constant attention while in my client’s home. I watch over their body language to understand the pet’s needs. Before the stays, I try to do my research on your specific breed so I will be prepared. In my opinion, some of the best pet care comes from simply showing your kindness and fostering a true compassion for animal well-being.

About: I have had dogs ( and a few cats) my entire life. I am a big believer in rescue so my pets come to me with a variety of issues. We have always worked thru those issues. I have had recent experience with elderly dogs as my 3 dogs were all elderly with medical conditions. Two have since crossed over the bridge. I currently have a very friendly, and laid back Shih Tzu mix. He is 15 years old. The other 2 passed away within 6 months of each other so he misses being around other dogs. We are retired with a fenced in yard so we woukd be home all day with the dogs. I am retired with a fenced in yard so we woukd be home all day with the dogs. Baxter is good with all dogs of any size and energy level. He is not kind to cats. I can do drop in visits for cat8s but can not do them in my home. I have a fenced in yard and a dog to play with. I also have crates and beds for their comfort. Play time will be part of the day care experience.

“Malachi was fantastic and very personable! He took such great care of my baby boy and went above and beyond to get to him when I didn't leave the door accessible for him ? I would definitely recommend Malachi to anyone. He has great patience and loves pups”

About: I have 2 loving dogs of my own! I work from home so I am with them 24/7! I volunteer at my local animal shelter anytime I can to give back to all the animals that need our help! I work from home, so whenever you need me I will most likely be available! Weekdays are very flexible and weekends I will do my best to make something work! I can do anything from playing with your fur baby, walking them around the block, or taking them to the dog park! I have crate trained both my dogs, so I can easily put dogs in their crates.

About: I have been an animal lover since I was a kid. Rescuing chickens, rabbits, cats, horses - you name it! In my adult life, I took some time away from pets while obtaining my Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. The first thing I did after relocating to Decatur, IL for my job, was adopt an unwanted adult shelter cat that resided at Animal Control for months, Spider. He is still with me - 11 years later. I have learned the reasons why Spider was surrendered. It inspired me to get involved with animal rescue in the community. I have adopted and fostered puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats. I have probably dealt with nearly every type of cat or most cat disabilities at this point - and if not, am extremely willing and able to learn. My feline resume includes sight and hearing impaired, sick, diabetes, incontinence, behavioral issues, MORE... I am a huge believer of positive reinforcement training for dogs. If you follow dominance training or negative reprimanding, we will not get along. I have taken two doggos through AKC CGC certification awards and other courses. My personal dog, Timber, suffers from several health issues including hypertension - which caused enucleation of both eyes; chronic rhinitis; and gingival hyperplasia. I am very used to paying attention to the subtle signs of dogs when medical issues arise. Currently, i am working from home, but transitioning back to in-person office work soon. When I return back to work, my schedule does offer a lunch break and reasonable flexibility. Interestingly, all of my puppy fostering has been pre-COVID/work-from-home! My home offers a fenced-in yard. We always walk pets on-leash. In side the home, we have options for crating and our home has several doors to close off rooms to create separate safe spaces, if needed. We also have several baby gates. Crating is very useful for at least feeding times. Our resident dog, Timber, eats in his crate, and he is trained to go there if he gets stressed - even though he is blind. I can often watch cats here in a spare room. Although, I do think cats are happiest at their homes with daily visits, if an option. In a client home, I would like to try to stick the schedule the pets are used to. Arranging a visit to understand the home layout, where things are kept, and meeting the pets are very important to me. I am happy to arrange multiple visits or stay at the house, depending on the needs of the clients and pet(s).

About: I have had pets since was teenager. So lots of experience taking care of animals big and small. I am caring, and know how to keep animals focused on the walk. Will come and visit your pet and take them out to potty as well play fetch with them or just play. Make sure all is good with them. Always avoid any confrontation with any unknown dogs and any other animals so no harm will come to your pet. Always walk them on sidewalk if is one and in all cases never leave alone to get into the street or come to any harm at all. And above all else care for them as though they were mine and make sure they are well taken care of.

Savannah S.
“Savannah did a fantastic job taking care of our poodle, turtle and house. We've used her twice and trust her completely. Our dog is 15 years-old so we don't trust many people to care for her. Savannah is patient, understanding and loving with her. Savannah was timely and left our house clean. She was welcome to have a few friends over; and she handled that with respect. We hope to use her again and highly recommend her.”

Kimberly & Richard H.
“I have traveled a lot over the last 20+ years, and while there are some great pet boarding services, there is nothing like having someone you know and trust to take care of your pet while you are gone. I have known Kim for 25 years, in professional and personal capacities, and you will not find anyone more loving and dedicated to dogs. She has rescued countless dogs over the years - often those that were overlooked due to age or pedigree - and she gives every dog their BEST life! One of my beloved dogs (who lived to be 15) LOVED going to Kim's house, and I always knew that she was well cared for and had a great time with Kim's dogs. Deciding who cares for your pet when you can't is a big deal, and I HIGHLY recommend Kim!”

Skielyr T.
“If I could choose anyone other than my family to care for and look after my fur babies it would be Skielyr. I have watched her love and spoil her dogs endlessly and I know she would do the same for any dog she encounters! If you want your dog to be entertained or pampered like royalty I would contact Spieler. Her active lifestyle allows her to keep up with high energy pets as well as those that just like to cuddle. Her experience with adopting shelter dogs and training has also allowed her to show off her patience and positivity when your pets are first learning!”

Erin R.
“Erin is a fantastic animal caregiver! She has a ton of cat and dog foster experience, and we have asked her to watch our dog and first cat a number of times. I think she does a better job keeping on top of them than we do... We also adopted our second cat from the Yoga4Cats rescue that she is on the board of directors of. Erin was fostering her while pet-sitting for us, and she and our dog hit it off right off the bat!”

Michael W.
“Michael is a animal lover for sure! He has many animals such as dogs, cats, chinchillas, rabbits, guinia pigs, hamsters, etc. He cares very deeply for each of them. He would care for your pets as if they were his own.”
