About: I am reliable and on time, I have taken care of house animals to farm animals and love them all. If you are away for several hours or need a late night check in, I’m your guy. I currently work Sunday to Wednesday 6am to 6pm and available 7pm to Midnight. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday I am available most hours. Please feel free to reach out. From feeding routines and walks to cuddle time (or just calm company for the more independent types), I make sure each pet feels comfortable and cared for according to their unique personality. I love keeping pets engaged with fun, stimulating activities. For cats, that might mean interactive toys, puzzle feeders, or laser play. For dogs, it’s usually games of fetch, tug-of-war, or a good old-fashioned frisbee toss. Even reptiles get the same thoughtful attention (maybe less cuddling, but plenty of care and respect!). Every pet deserves the best care possible, and that’s what I promise to provide. Whether you’re going away for a day or a week, I will treat your furry family member as if they were our own. I’d love to meet your pets and help you feel at ease while you’re away!

About: Diagnosed with allergies in childhood, I didn’t have pets until in my 20s, when I picked a week-old kitten from a litter & raised him. Thelonious used to walk between my shoulders as I moved around the house, and slept in my bed. Friends told me he behaved more like a dog than a cat—very affectionate. We were very close. His death broke my heart & I still miss him. Seven years ago, I did cat-sitting for a friend whose apartment in NYC I stayed in for a summer while working nearby on Varick Street. He was a very easygoing cat. Years later, my stepson left his dogs at our house & I was their primary minder. I fed, walked & played with them every day. Although I’d been around dogs a lot growing up, it’s one thing to be around them & another to be responsible for them & develop relationships with them. Each of the dogs had a very distinct personality, and I found them fascinating. Through those & other experiences with friends’ pets, I’ve found that I’m able to make connections with animals that go beyond words. I never would have imagined such a thing in childhood. These days I do house sitting & drop-ins for clients in Monmouth & Mercer Counties. I’m tending to pets with a wide range of needs & dispositions, and love I give is more than equaled by the love I receive from them. I’m truly humbled & in awe. Professionally, I managed desktop publishing & automated publishing for a Fortune 500 financial firm for 20 years. So I have a long track record of responsibility & discipline. That combination of sensitivity & responsibility are what I bring to pet sitting. I only accept clients living within a 30-minute drive from my home, and my routines at home are easily adaptable to meet my clients’ needs. That means my highly flexible schedule allows me to provide your cat with the consistent time, routine, and attention they deserve while you are gone. I don’t rush my check-ins; I stay the full duration to ensure your cat gets plenty of physical play and mental stimulation. Because my hours are highly adaptable, I can drop in at the exact times your cat expects breakfast, dinner, or treats. I’m happy to take photos during my stay to enable you as the pet owner to feel secure about your pet’s care in your absence. I like to play with & talk to pets, and try to adhere to their normal routines, so they, too, feel comfortable in your absence.

About: My family once had a dog but he sadly passed away so it increased my passion for pets. I've had experience taking care of my Auntie's dog for 4 years and when I went to college I didn't see him as much but I came back and he remembered me as if no time past. I've constantly been around pets my whole life and have taken care of other peoples pets in emergency situations countless times. I work weekdays (Mon-Thurs) and I am in school but Friday into the weekends I don't do much so the weekend would be a perfect time to request me to care for a pet. Feel free to take a break and go on a weekend dinner date as your pet is left in good hands. I live on a college campus with vigilant security and cameras at every angle in my building but I am not prohibited to care for animals in my space. I am capable of defending myself and protecting the well being of animals at a clients space.

About: Experienced with both large and small dogs, as well as senior dogs. My last dog was a husky, so I’m no stranger to dogs with high exercise needs as well!
