“Mr. Erik was very trustworthy from first sight. Frugo ( our dog ) likes him at first contact. Communication with Mr. Erik was great, he was responding fast and there wasn't aby problems eventhough we didnt speak german. Dog was noticeable happy and we had report with photo after his accommodation with description what's happening, wchich gave us feeling of safety and good care. Unfortunately we have to pick Frugo earlier than we expected but I assure that Mr. Erik is great petsitter and we would gladly use his services again when we will visit Berlin next time. Strong recommendation from me and Frugo!”

Über: I grew up with dogs and have lived with them for the majority of my life. I’ve also done some pet sitting in a London and Berlin. I work from home and can easily accommodate pets. I can take them out regularly for walks and play with them. Our apartment is quite small so we prefer smaller animals. I have an area in my apartment complex to walk dogs though it is not fenced in. There are dog parks no too far away.
Über: I've had a dog for 8 years, and he's been my life companion. I've cared for him and given him the best I can. My family and friends also let me take care of their pets when they went on vacation or needed a sitter. I’ll to start to learn deutsch on July so I’ll get free time after lunch everyday. I’m very happy to go outside and take a walk everyday I can adapt to any dog, if they need more walking, running, rest, and whatever they need. I am very responsible and careful with everything
“Kristina was a wonderful dog sitter! My poodle Mia spent a day and a night with her with no problems, making plans was super easy, I was receiving regular updates and I got a happy dog back. I will definitely book Kristina again and I highly recommend her!! :)”

“Bryanne saved me accepting a last minute booking for new years eve (1st of January) after another person canceled last minute. She took care of my Dog (who can be difficult with other dogs and sensitive around new people sometimes), but which seemed super happy and chilled at the staying there (which I could see on the update videos I got in between). I would definitely book her again. Thank you :)”

Über: Ive had two cats since I was 10, so I’ve learned how to understand their behavior, wants and needs. I have had less experience with dogs, however many of my friends, as well as my grandmother, have dogs, which have taught me the basics of how to take care of dogs. Im currently looking for employment, and therefore I have plenty of time to take care of a pet and can dedicate more focus to them. I live in a somewhat small but comfortable apartment in the center of Berlin, with many parks in the area that I can go to walk a dog. My apartment is comfortable for a cat and I have no problem with them sleeping in the bed.
Über: What makes me different is how much I truly love animals and enjoy spending time with them. I take a very patient, caring approach and try to understand each pet’s personality, routines, and needs so they feel safe and happy from day one. I have experience with both young pups and senior dogs, and I adjust walks, playtime, and rest depending on their energy and comfort. I’m also very responsible with communication,I love sending updates and photos so you always know how your furry friend is doing🐾 Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. That allows me to adapt easily to each pet’s needs — whether they need frequent walks, playtime, cuddles, or just someone around to keep them company throughout the day. I live alone in a cozy two-room apartment where pets can move around freely and feel at home. I make sure they have a comfortable, calm space and plenty of attention throughout the day. I also have several parks nearby, so it’s easy to take them out for nice walks and playtime. If I’m caring for pets in their owner’s home, I follow their usual routines to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for.
“Elissa was wonderful and super professional. She took excellent care of our little Poppy and made her feel relaxed and at home. We received regular updates so we wouldn't miss her much. I totally recommend her to look after your furry friends. Thank you and until next time!”

“1000% Weiterempfehlung!

“Inna took such lovely care of our little Toy Poodle Bambi! She was always super quick to respond to messages, and sent daily updates, so it was so nice to see how it was going. I could see Bambi was completely relaxed and had a lot of fun during her stay with Inna! Would definitely use her again & recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter for their fur-baby! ❤️”

“Diana took great care of my mini schnauzer Murphy and she was very accommodating and sent regular updates like photos and videos. Highly recommended! Thanks again, Diana, I'm sure you'll see Murphy again soon! :)”

“Tessa was absolutely amazing and our dog had a great time staying with her. We met up a few days before the sitting to get to know each other, and I had a great feeling with her right away. It was clear that she has lots of experience with dogs, and she's equally caring as well as very responsible with them. I was able to fully enjoy my weekend away, knowing that my dog was well cared for. She also sent pictures during the stay, which was very nice! We would love to book her again next time we're going away and definitely recommend her. Thank you Tessa, we hope you have time for us again in the future 🐶”

“Alice is just such a lovely person! Alice took care of my dog first time at New Year’s Eve as I had to work, it couldn’t have gone better :) So careful and wanted to understand and know the dog, got lots of updates in photos and text - felt really calm as a dog owner :) Alice is very flexible and kind, really nice and down to earth person! I’m really happy with the help I got, can strongly recommend🙂”

Über: I always think I’m a natural dog sitter and dogs love me. The first time I had a dog was when I was 10 years old in China, his name was Chouchou. At that time my family was not always at home so it’s always me and Chouchou taking care of each other. I walked him every day after I finished school. I fed him, taught him tricks, and he just sat next to me whatever I did. Back then I still visited some other family members in the rural area every winter and summer school break, where almost every family had a Chinese native dog as the house guard. My favourite time was always playing with the dogs from different houses and people in the village were joking that all the dogs in the village won’t bark at all if the thief is following me. Later on, after I went to the boarding school, I didn’t have the opportunity to be this close with dogs and the only joy was to feed the homeless dogs on campus. Day by day the dogs there knew what time I finish class and where my dorm was. In university, I had a boyfriend who had a Labrador called Tietou (literally translated to iron head because he always accidentally hit his head on the desk), who is also in my profile picture. Even though it wasn’t a successful relationship, but my days with the dog were super fun and helped me get through the dark days of Covid. I’ve never seen the dog after I broke up with my ex but I wonder all the time, will the dog also wonder why all of a sudden I’m just disappeared from his life? Would he also miss me? I’ve always wanted a puppy but I’ve been living a nomad life with the intention of finding the perfect place I want to live forever. Recently I moved to Berlin, last December I was dog sitting my friends 40kg Akita called Loki in Dublin for a month. During the month me and my boyfriend walked him almost everyday if it wasn’t raining hard. I also taught him new tricks. I’m not sure how long I will stay here in Berlin so I won’t have my own pet for now. But I know my first winter here (also the coldest winter in the past years) will be less cloudy and gloomy if I have the chance to take care of your puppy :) Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I structure my day around the pets I’m caring for. I make sure feeding times, walks, playtime, and rest are prioritized and never rushed. I’m used to planning my schedule in a way that allows me to be present and attentive, whether that means morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening routines. I spend most of my day at home or working with a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets consistent attention and companionship rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I also build in time for observation and interaction, so I can quickly notice any changes in behavior, mood, or appetite and respond accordingly. Overall, caring for pets is not an add-on to my day, it’s something I consciously plan around and take seriously. I care for pets with patience, responsibility, and genuine love. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I always take the time to get to know them before and during the stay. For dogs, I make sure they get enough exercise, fresh air, and attention through regular walks, playtime, and companionship. I follow the owner’s instructions closely when it comes to feeding schedules, portion sizes, training rules, and daily routines, so pets feel safe and comfortable in a familiar structure. I’m very attentive to pets’ behavior and emotions. If a pet feels anxious, shy, or energetic, I adjust my care style accordingly and make sure they feel calm, respected, and secure. I never force interaction and always prioritize the pet’s well-being. Cleanliness and safety are extremely important to me. I keep the living space tidy, make sure food and water bowls are clean, and always check that doors, leashes, and surroundings are safe. I can also provide regular photo and message updates, so owners feel reassured while they’re away. Most importantly, I treat every pet as if they were my own, with kindness, consistency, and care.

Über: I’ve been around pets my whole life. Growing up, my family always had a dog at home, so caring for dogs has been part of my everyday routine since childhood. More recently, I had my own cat for 6 years, so I’m very comfortable with cat care too. Feeding, litter box care, playtime, and giving them space when they need it. I’m patient, gentle, and attentive, and I’ll treat your pet like one of my own. I work freelance, so I’m super flexible. I’m available on weekdays and weekends, with plenty of time for cuddles, play, and updates. Feel free to reach out to arrange. :) I care for pets in a calm, safe, and clean environment and always follow the owner’s instructions. I live in a 2.5-room apartment on the 1st floor, and there’s a park nearby for regular walks and fresh air. I keep doors and windows secure, remove anything unsafe, and make sure pets are supervised and comfortable. I stick to their normal routine (feeding, walks, playtime, rest), give lots of attention and gentle care, and I’m happy to send frequent updates and photos so you feel relaxed while you’re away.

My poodles spent 2 nights with Carol - I'm so glad to found her here on Rover. The poodles liked her immediately and everything went well - so I didn't check my phone for updates as I was away. Thanks Carol, for you flexibility, your patience for Alvi and the good time you gave my dogs.

Kristina was an amazing doggy sitter and our mind was totally at rest. She’s got a very calming energy and made our Peach feel right at home. She’s also sent us regular updates and was very attentive with Peach’s additional needs. Happy to have found her and will ask her to doggy sit again :)

Khoi and his partner An took care of my high-energy, sometimes loud Malinois mix and I could tell that Arlo had a great time with them both. They sent lots of photos during the stay and were super communicative. We will definitely book them again in the future!

Marcos took care of our high-energy, sometimes loud Malinois mix for a night and I can highly recommend his service. He sent lots of photos and was super communicative the whole time, and I can tell Arlo had a great time (maybe it was the huge fenced-in garden behind Marcos' building).

Mr. Strong recommendation from me and Frugo!

We and Chupko we very happy with Elissa. It was the first time that Chupko was dogsat, so we were very nervous. Immediately after meeting Elissa, I felt reassured Chupko was in good hands. Elissa took care of him like he was her own dog and was sending us regular updates and photos. We were happy to leave our doggo in such good hands. I can highly recommend.

Alexandra took care of our Toto during the Christmas and New Year holidays. We received constant updates about our little dog. Before taking care of Toto, we met with her and her daughter so she could get to know him and we could explain his routine, basic needs, and health requirements. We felt very at ease leaving Toto in her care, especially knowing that he was always accompanied. More than just being taken care of, we truly felt that our dog was loved. I 100% recommend her.

Inna took good care of Smoky for 9 days. We have texted regularly including photos and videos of Smoky. Got Smoky back in a very good mood would definitely recommend Inna. On the way back I had some delays with transportation and Inna was very helpful and flexible to adjust to the new pickup time. 5 stars overall.

Manuela is an exceptional dog sitter. She carefully learned my dog’s routine, sent daily photo updates, and was consistently reliable and attentive. I’ve used many sitters before, but none this diligent. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands.

Arsen took great care of our Carlo during the whole Christmas season! We returned to find a happy dog with good energy. Arsen was reliable and communicative, keeping us updated with photos and videos. We felt completely at ease knowing Carlo was in such caring hands. We would highly recommend Arsen to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter!

I just can say thank you to Andre, his partner and their dog. They were amazing with Ayun. They looked out for him an entire month, giving him the same love and care that he has at home. They gave me the tranquility that I needed while I was away sending regular updates and photos and making Ayun part of their daily life / family. My dog was as happy as when I left him, for sure I’ll book with Andre again in the future.

5 Starts to Micaela !!! I booked last moment during Christmas holidays. Micaela answered within 20 min. I immediately noticed that she loves dogs a lot. Else (my dog) looked very happy staying with her new friend. On daily basis, Micaela will send pictures, videos and update me how my dog was doing. I will for sure ask help to Micaela in future again. Thank you so much for your help !!
