Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with dogs and currently have a 6-year-old female dog named Poofy, whom my husband and I trained ourselves. She is very well-behaved, social, and has taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement training. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of many different sizes and personalities — from small Yorkshire Terriers to energetic Border Collies. Since Poofy weighs around 30 kg, I’m also very comfortable handling medium and large dogs during walks, playtime, and daily care. I have more than 7 years of experience caring for dogs in Berlin, including looking after friends’ pets even before getting Poofy myself. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, playing with them, understanding their personalities, and helping reinforce good behavior and routines. I’m attentive, patient, and loving with every dog I care for, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while in my care.

I couldn’t be happier with the care Alka and Arun gave Gery during the 20 days I was away. They took such wonderful care of him and, most importantly, made him feel loved and completely at home. Gery can be quite cautious with new people at first, so I was a little worried about leaving him for so long. But Alka and Aru were incredibly patient and caring, and when I came to pick him up, he looked absolutely happy, relaxed, and comfortable, it was clear that he had had a great time with them. They also went above and beyond when something unexpected happened and Gery needed to see the vet. They took care of everything while I was away and kept him safe and well looked after. I’m so grateful to them. It’s such a relief to know that your dog is not just being looked after, but genuinely loved and treated like part of the family. I would happily trust Gery with Alka and Arun again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring and responsible dog sitters.
I feel incredibly lucky to know Alka, and I honestly can't think of a better person to care for pets. She genuinely loves animals, and it shows in the way she cares for her own dog, with so much patience, attention, and love. She is calm, smart, and incredibly intuitive, which makes her not only a wonderful dog parent but someone I would fully trust with any pet. Schedule
I work from home, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day with regular potty breaks, playtime, and walks as needed. I usually do longer walks in the mornings or evenings, depending on the dog’s routine and energy level. On weekends, I enjoy taking dogs on even longer walks and always carry water with me so they can have water breaks along the way. I’m flexible with schedules and happy to adapt to your dog’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and cared for.

I live in a spacious apartment where dogs have enough room to move around comfortably and feel at home. Dogs are welcome on the sofa, and I have plenty of toys from my own dog, Poofy, to keep them entertained and engaged. I also have a balcony where dogs can safely relax, enjoy some fresh air, or sunbathe if they like. I always make sure pets feel safe, supervised, and comfortable in my care, while also respecting any routines, boundaries, or training preferences provided by the owner.
