Pet care experience

Experienced dog and cat sitter

I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Over the years I’ve looked after cats, dogs, birds, and many different kinds of wildlife through my volunteer work in wildlife rescue and my studies in wildlife biology. I’m calm, reliable, and genuinely love spending time with animals and understanding their individual personalities and needs. Whether it’s playtime, walks, medication, or simply keeping them company, I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Dani’s care for Hazel has been unmatched. She’s the most attentive, caring, loving cat sitter I’ve had. From giving asthma medication everyday, playing, feeding, training gently to go outside, socialising with other cats (and the process this takes for a single cat! So much patience) to loving my dearest fluff one, I can say for sure: Your pet companion will be safe with her. There’s not a more capable person to trust another being’s life like her. I recommend her wholeheartedly for any petsitting endeavours, and be sure your little one will be happy at the end. She also builds great cat furniture and is a ninja at catifying a home.

Danielle is a very competent and mind catsitter, she has graciously taken care of my two boys for several weeks at a time, both are street cats and fussy with new environment and anxious, they settled in very quickly. Her calm demeanor really puts them at ease and makes them feel at home, sometimes too much that they start wrecking havoc or dropping stuff but ahe is always patient and kind, i also don’t have to worry about getting litter boxes with and the window has a safety net which enriches their time there. I can fully recommend her and i know she will take care of your kids just as well as she did with mine. <3

Danielle looked after our cat Luca for six months while we were traveling, and she cared for him as if he were her own. He is a four-year-old champagne short-hair who can be a little clingy, and she made sure he wanted for nothing: frequent cuddles, park walks, coffee outings, treats, even a small winter wardrobe. She sent us photos and videos several times a week, so we never felt far from him. For his birthday she made him a special meal shaped like a cake, sang him happy birthday, and recorded the whole thing for us, which we loved. When she later noticed he was off and realised he had a sore tooth, she arranged a home vet visit because she knew how frightened he is of the clinic, then followed all the vet’s instructions and kept him on his medication until he was comfortable again. She still visits him and stays in touch, simply because she loves him. We trust her completely, would book her again without hesitation, and recommend her wholeheartedly.

Schedule

I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting during weekdays and weekends, and I can usually adapt to different routines and care needs with enough notice.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time, as well as a secure netted window catio where cats can safely enjoy fresh air and sunshine. I'm within walking distance of two parks and dog parks for longer walks and socialisation.

A typical day

I'll adapt the daytime routine to the individual dog's needs. If they are energetic we can spend plenty of time in the garden and go on multiple walks to the local parks or dog parks.

Let me know beforehand if your pet has any special needs, medication, or behaviours that I should account for. It would be also nice to know which words they know and respond to. Please bring their regular food. I can provide treats, unless they have dietary restrictions. If so please provide them. For cats I can provide litter boxes and basic litter. If they need a specific kind please provide it.
