Über: I’ve been around dogs basically my whole life. Since I was 6, I’ve spent almost every weekend volunteering at animal shelters and taking dogs on walks, which taught me how to handle all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and behaviors. My first own dog was rescued from a kill shelter, and my second dog had been abandoned blind in a ski resort and found freezing outside. Because he was blind, nobody wanted to adopt him, but adopting him ended up being one of the best decisions ever. Through these experiences, I’ve become especially patient and comfortable with anxious, traumatized, senior, or special-needs dogs, and I genuinely love building trust with them at their own pace On weekends I’m very flexible and available both during the day and overnight. I can either care for your cat in my own apartment or come to your home, depending on what your cat is most comfortable with. During the week I have a school schedule from 8 AM to 4 PM, which means I’m usually available from 5 PM onwards. In special cases I also offer overnight stays during the week if early morning drop-off/pick-up works for you and your cat :) I always try to create a calm and stress-free environment where cats can feel safe and comfortable in their own routine. I respect their boundaries, pay attention to behavior changes, and make sure they get enough attention, playtime, food, and care. I’m also experienced with cats that need extra patience or medical care, so I’m comfortable handling responsibility and keeping owners updated if needed. If boarding at my apartment is preferred, I currently ask owners to provide essentials such as litter, food, and any comfort items their cat is used to, so the environment feels as familiar and stress-free as possible

Chester is a medium-sized, high-energy Lab who can be quite strong on walks and requires a special walking tool (Halti) because he pulls a lot. Before booking, we invited several sitters for trial walks to find someone who could confidently handle him, and Akanksha stood out immediately. She learned how to use the Halti very quickly and handled Chester calmly and confidently. During our trip, she followed all of our instructions carefully, kept us constantly updated with messages and photos, and gave us complete peace of mind knowing our “child” was in the best hands. On top of that, she kept our place very clean and tidy. We truly appreciated her care, responsibility, and communication, and we would absolutely trust her with Chester again.”

I spent last 4 years living with a dog (belonged to me roomie) that became a family member to me. I miss him dearly! Looking forward to spending time with your dog(s), cat(s) and bunnies. I offer doggie walks, pet visits and overnight stays - I'm also open to longer stays at the pet's home! For housesitting: I work from home so have no problem staying with your pet most of the day. I'll also make sure to lock the doors and close the windows when I'm out, and of course will keep your flat neat and clean and give your pets abundant care and cuddles - if they happen to want them, of course! For home visits, I'll make sure to give your pet abundant cuddles. 🥰 according to your instructions, I can also water the plants or bring in the mail, give your pet a brush, plus the usual of changing the litter, putting fresh water and giving food ofc. And even send some cute pics if you so desire. For dog walks, I like to go to doggie parks - Mauerpark and Tempelhoferfeld are my favs. I work online so will spend most of the day with your pet! I enjoy going on long walks, doing sports, and painting - all of these fit perfectly for cats and dogs:) I will make sure to not leave doors (and windows in case of kitties) open; if there are specific pet-free places in your house, I'll take care they don't tresspass. 🐈🐕

“Maxim was absolutely wonderful with our Samoyed, Bella. She’s quite an excitable dog and usually needs a bit of time to warm up to new people, so we arranged a few meet-and-greet visits before the actual house sit. Maxim was incredibly patient and accommodating throughout, which made a huge difference. Everything went very smoothly during the stay. He was easy to communicate with, reliable, and clearly very comfortable around dogs. The biggest reassurance for us was seeing how relaxed and happy Bella was with him. We’re really grateful for the care and effort he put in, and we’d happily trust him with Bella again. Highly recommend!”

I live in Moabit, which is perfect for a relaxed life: Walks on the Spree, working quietly at home, lunch breaks in the Tiergarten... Doggie paradise! Hallo! Ich bin Anjana, freiberufliche Softwareentwicklerin aus den USA. Ich wohne in Moabit, perfekt für ein entspanntes Leben: Gassi gehen am Spree, ruhig zu Hause arbeiten, Mittagspause im Tiergarten, ... Hundeparadies! (English, Deutsch, Français, Italiano, Español) I work from home as a freelancer so I have a very flexible schedule and can take breaks/walks almost any time. The only times I'm truly unavailable are during zoom meetings which are usually 1 hour long (max 2h). I live alone in a 2nd floor Altbau flat. There is no elevator but I'm happy to carry dogs that have trouble with the stairs. There is an enclosed courtyard with a small yard, but more importantly we are directly across from the car-free river bank which offers km of beautiful places to walk.
