“Catherine was fantastic! She checked in on my dogs at the agreed upon time, gave an update of potty breaks, took pictures of the dogs at play with her, and my dogs seem so happy. Catherine did an outstanding job taking care of my dogs and put my mind at ease knowing they were being checked on with care”

About: I have been a cat parent for my whole life in which I have administered medication to them including eye drops, ear drops, liquid & pill oral medication. I have also grown up around dogs as well given that most of my boyfriend and friends are dog parents. I have walked their dogs before and taken care of their cats as well. I can clean litter boxes, food bowls, vomit, etc. I currently work part time at dad's business, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am willing to come multiple times a day and multiple days a week no matter the time unless I have a prior engagement. I have an orange tabby cat that is strictly indoors to optimize his safety against potentially harmful animals, insects, and people. I care for my cat and those I have taken care of by respecting the boundaries that their owners have set regarding indoors or outside pets. I clean their food and water bowls every day before I give them food. Also, I will play with them frequently unless they do not want to engage. I believe adhering to the pet's needs as well as their owners is deeply important.

About: I’ve cared for pets of all ages, from playful puppies to gentle older dogs, such as my own. I tailor my approach to each animal’s needs. What sets me apart is my calm, patient energy and attention to detail—I don’t just watch pets, I get to know them. I have experience with basic training reinforcement, senior pet care (including administering oral medications), and making nervous animals feel safe and loved. Whether it’s a long walk, structured playtime, or simply keeping a routine, I care for every pet like they’re my own. As a college student home for the summer, I have a flexible and open schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. With no classes or school obligations right now, I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits—whatever fits your pet’s routine best. I love spending my summer surrounded by animals, and I’m fully committed to giving each pet the time and attention that they need. Safety and trust are my top priorities in every pet care situation. When caring for pets in their own home, I respect their space and routines to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I follow all owner instructions carefully—from feeding schedules to medication dosages—to ensure consistency and well-being. I always secure doors, windows, and any potential hazards to create a safe environment. As for staying in my home, I unfortunately cannot have other pets coming and staying with me, due to the amount of allergies in my household and my older dog that is living with me

About: I have grown up in a pet friendly household and taken care of my neighbors pets frequently. I love being around both cats and dogs! I am on summer break so I have a lot of free time! I have an internship that is very flexible and once a week (ending soon though) but other than that I currently do not have any other things that interfere with my schedule. I like to create an environment for pets where they feel comfortable and relaxed. I love giving them lots of toys and playing with them, but knowing when to give them space or let them nap. I also love taking them on long walks or just giving them lots of pets :)

About: As a sitter, I stand out by offering personalized, attentive care tailored to each pet's unique needs. I have experience in puppy traning, helping young dogs learn basic commands and proper behavior. I also have experience with walking big dogs and small dogs. I've had a dog my whole life who I have trained. My calm demeanor, attention to detail, and commitment to creating a safe, happy environment make me a reliable choice for any pet, no matter their age or special requirements. Additionally, I prioritize clear communication with pet owners, providing regular updates and photos so you can feel connected while you're away. I'm a full-time student, but I take dog-sitting seriously and I'm avaliable Thursday-Sunday to dog sit. I make sure to make time for walks, play, and feeding. I ensure pets receive regular exercise and attention, which helps maintain their health and happiness. If, needed I can incorporate short trianing sessions to reinforce good behavior and build a strong bond. I adapt my routine based on the needs of the pets I care for, whether it’s more frequent potty breaks for young pups or gentle walks for senior dogs. I provide a pet-friendly space, free from hazards, with plenty of room to play and rest. I maintain a consistent routine for feeding, walks, and bathroom breaks, ensuring your pet feels secure. Playtime and affection are central, so pets get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. For pets with special needs or medications, I follow detailed instructions to ensure their health is top priority. I respect your home and your pet’s established routine, making sure they remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I bring my own pet-sitting essentials but ensure all of your pet's favorite toys, bedding, and treats are used. I provide updates, photos, and videos so you can stay connected with your pet while you're away.

“Stacey was great! I had her drop in twice a day to check on my pups. She kept me updated and sent several pictures and videos of them. She was very accommodating when we had to extend our trip because of the weather. We will definitely be using her services in the future.”

“Elizabeth did a wonderful job! We would love to work with her again. Her communication was great. She kept us updated and shared photos of our cats, Stasya and Miso, daily. We came home to two happy and healthy kitties after a week of being away.”

“Alyssa is fantastic. My Oscar can be so shy, yet adored his time with her. I had such a great time away to see family because I knew he was engaged with and cared for by her. Thanks so very much!”

About: Hi! My name is Alyssa and I have plenty of experience when it comes to pets! At home in Richmond I have 3 dogs 4 cats , a chameleon and a fish! Looking forward to helping out and spending time with some of y'all's pets!! I currently take online classes through jmu so my availability is pretty open! Weekends work best as I work a few hrs throughout the week but am never gone for more than 3 hrs at a time! My apartment complex is safe and also has a dog park! I live with one other roommate so there is plenty of space and also not too many people around for more shy animals!

About: I am a nurse in Harrisonburg looking to cure my puppy fever with helping take care of your pups! I’ve had dogs my whole life, I’ve raised puppies and helped with elderly dogs as well. I currently have an 8 year old pomapoo that I’ve had since she was 6 weeks old, she loves other animals and would do great socializing with your dog if your dog would enjoy that! I also have a 20 month old daughter who is literally obsessed with dogs! I would love to come walk your dog or play fetch then cuddle up on the couch with them for a few while your awhile, I’ll make sure their water and food bowl is full before I leave. I also would love you keep your dog while you are away, I’d let them snuggle on the couch with me and make sure they have atleast one walk a day, leaving you stressful on your days away! I work fulltime as a nurse manager which is Monday-Friday 8a-4p so every weekend and evening I’m off. Normally I take my daughter on a 3 mile walk/run which any dog could join us in that! I have a pomapoo and a toddler who love some dog company. I prefer a dog to be crated while I’m out of the house, but while I’m home they can play all through my apartment and go on walks as frequently as needed.

About: I’ve care for pets of all kinds dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, multiple farm animals, and ext… So when it comes to pets I’ve always been a person anyone can call on. I do work but I work at a job that I pretty much work my own schedule and I’m very flexible and available for the most part. I currently wouldn’t be able to do any in my home care. I’ve got multiple dogs of my own in the home. But will come to your home and care for any pets that need care.
