About: I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember! It started with walking my Nana's dogs growing up, and that love has stuck with me ever since. I'm also a lifelong cat lover. I grew up playing with my cat Bella as a teen into adulthood, so I'm just as happy doing drop-ins for kitties as I am walking dogs. Today I have my own dog, a handsome lab-mix named Naveen. I trained him from a beginner's class through advanced training, earning his Canine Good Citizen certification, and then moved on to agility training together. That means I'm comfortable with pups who need structure, exercise, and mental stimulation, not just a walk around the block. Whether it's a high-energy dog needing a good outlet or a senior dog needing a gentle, patient companion, I pay close attention to each dog's individual pace and comfort level. I'm reliable, communicative (photo updates with every visit!), and I treat every pet like my own. I work part-time from home, which means I have a flexible schedule that I largely get to set myself. That gives me plenty of availability throughout the day for walks and drop-ins. If I have enough advance notice, I'm usually able to work around your dog's routine, whether that's a midday walk while you're at work or a quick drop-in for feeding and playtime. I aim to be responsive and easy to communicate with if your schedule shifts or you need to adjust timing. Since I only offer walks and drop-in visits (no boarding or in-home stays), all care happens at your home, on your dog's turf and routine. I'll follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, leash preferences, door/gate locks, and any specific quirks your dog has. I always double-check that doors and gates are securely closed before leaving, and I send photo updates so you know your pup is safe and happy. I treat your home with the same respect and care I'd want for my own.

About: My first Jobs as a child were farm sitting for my neighbors and working on an angora rabbit farm. I have always loved and cherished animals. Animals have been drawn to me my whole life. I developed my skills going into the veterinary field as a technician, I've worked with large animals horses , pigs, cows, llamas , alpacas , tortoise , lizards , snakes, monkeys, even helped in surgery on a lion. I have experience with medications , injections, transdermal , and oral medications . Also subcutaneous fluids . I also have experience with handicapped animals that may need bladder expressions or need potty walks in wheel chairs , experience with this is work and I also had my own wheel chair bound dog. I'm honest and would let you know if I'm not comfortable or feel qualified enough to take care of your babies I will let you know. I've been in the veterinary field over 25 years. I've worked in general practice , urgent care , and specialty /emergency . On weekends I'm available to house/pet sit pretty much anywhere within Maine and even possibly NH , of course allowing me time to get there . Try me I'm always up for a road trip extra fees may apply . Weekends for me are Friday after 6 pm through Tuesday morning when I head out to work . During my work week Tuesday morning through Friday . If you have dogs that need to be let out mid day , you need to be within a 10 minute drive from Warren ave in Portland . That way I can go let them out on my lunch break . If you have cats only or other pets that do not need midday care I can house sit /pet sit anywhere within an hour from Portland Maine . I can travel back and forth to work but be there at night and morning to take care of your pets needs . Always reach out if this doesn't make sense . Your pets care is priority and I will try to help you out but if my availability is not what is best for your friends I will be the first to let you know . I currently do not take pets into my home , just because I am not here most of the day . I will let people know if this changes

About: I have taken care of various different fur babies my whole life. From my grandma’s elderly diabetic cat, to many little baby kittens. Making animals feel safe and cared for makes me feel so fulfilled. I also have been bathing and doing regular grooming since I was old enough to understand how to. I’ve taken in strays and helped regime them or reunite them. I also took in and nursed back to health a kitty that I witnessed get hit by a car. Some special skills that I possess would be I’m very patient loving person who has a very big heart when it comes to animals and I can’t wait to have a future caring for them. I work part-time and do an online education program I’m pretty much free for the rest of day. Currently working on getting my license so I can be more reliable with transportation to get there. I am comfortable with different personalities and energy levels and will always treat your pet like they are my own. I am currently a college student on summer break, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. Right now, I work a part-time job Monday–Wednesday, but I will be fully done working in about a week and will have full availability to provide care, attention, and support for your pets. I enjoy staying active, spending time outdoors, and creating a routine, so pet care fits naturally into my daily life. I am available for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and companionship throughout the day. I understand how important it is for pets to have consistency and attention, and I would love the opportunity to make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I have a big back yard with lots of room to play and an air conditioned house. I’ll follow your pets routine and can be crated if needed!

About: Our home is very pet friendly/lovable! We have a 13 year old Miniature Dachshund named Marlena. She has spent her entire life growing up with our children and has always been around other dogs (we have been home to multiple long-term foster pups). I am confident in my ability to provide a fun, loving and positive atmosphere/experience for your dog and look forward to meeting you both! Being a stay at home mom gives me the ultimate flexibility to provide 24/7 care for your dog. This allows for frequent potty breaks, lots of attention and somebody who is always around for dogs who may have anxiety and prefer not to be left alone. Your dog becomes one of the family while staying I in our home. They have the freedom to roam and lounge wherever they find themselves comfortable! Accommodating individual needs is no problem at all. Multitasking has become a valuable skill set and I am very good at maintaining structure and staying on schedule.
