About: I have been walking and caring for pets for 2 years now, and it has been an awesome experience. I have been around pets my entire life and have always wanted a career that allowed me to meet and take care of different types of animals. I am reliable and honest which are important qualities when leaving your pet with someone. I will care for each pet like they are my own and will do whatever the owner needs to feel comfortable leaving there pet with me! I am 35 years old, live in Lewiston, ME. About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Previously a barn manager, I’m now a pet & equine photographer. That means when I’m not at a horse show or photoshoot, I’m at my desk at home with my own two senior dogs curled underneath. My years in the horse world and now with senior dogs has taught me how to apply topical medication, give injections and oral meds, and how to recognize and redirect problematic behavior. Living on 15 wooded acres set back from the road means there is plenty of space for pups to run around as well as numerous off leash walking trails should your pup be up for it. Staying with me is like a country retreat for your pet - walks through the forest and sunsets and squirrel watching from the deck. If you're lucky, you might even get some professional photos out of it. As a self-employed pet photographer, I work from home when I’m not at a horse show or photo shoot. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. My number one priority is that everyone feels safe and has their needs met. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. Dogs that can’t be trusted off leash will enjoy wooded walks around the property or nearby dog-friendly trails.

I am experienced with all animals, dog, cat, reptiles, small animals, birds, etc. I love them all, and I will give them the love and care they need. I can walk them at the local park, and am flexible with any special care they need. I can provide any grooming services needed as well. If you have a specific schedule I will follow that schedule you and update you on your pet. I know how to keep an animal well taken care of and attentive of their needs. I used to be a vet tech and I am aware of any health issues and able to take care of them when injured or sick. I have 2 dogs that are very playful and will gladly play with them.
