About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Previously a barn manager, I’m now a pet & equine photographer. That means when I’m not at a horse show or photoshoot, I’m at my desk at home with my own two senior dogs curled underneath. My years in the horse world and now with senior dogs has taught me how to apply topical medication, give injections and oral meds, and how to recognize and redirect problematic behavior. Living on 15 wooded acres set back from the road means there is plenty of space for pups to run around as well as numerous off leash walking trails should your pup be up for it. Staying with me is like a country retreat for your pet - walks through the forest and sunsets and squirrel watching from the deck. If you're lucky, you might even get some professional photos out of it. As a self-employed pet photographer, I work from home when I’m not at a horse show or photo shoot. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. My number one priority is that everyone feels safe and has their needs met. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. Dogs that can’t be trusted off leash will enjoy wooded walks around the property or nearby dog-friendly trails.

About: I have worked many different animal specific jobs over the years. From pet stores, dog bathing, to overnight doggie daycares. There have always been animals around me at home, especially dogs! Now that my childhood dog (Brownie) is getting older, I’ve also gained more experience with senior canines too. There are plenty of dog beds, water bowls, and a big bucket of toys lying around inside the house. There is also multiple doggie doors leading from the garage and into the house (both have slide door blockers as well if you need my dogs locked inside). I have my own apartment above the top floor that is separate from the rest of the house. There is an entrance at the back of the building, along with a wooden staircase that leads to my deck and apartment door. If you are boarding, your pets will be staying up here with me for the night. I am located on a quiet dirt road and can offer dog walks to get extra energy out. A bathtub is also available in my apartment if you’d like to give your pooch a soothing spa day (includes brushing, shampoo & conditioner, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and nail grinding) I love taking photos/videos, don’t hesitate to ask!

About: I have had my own dogs and cats since I was little! I now live in Lewiston with my two cats, and I often babysit my sisters two dogs.
